After taking a bit of a break Camilla returns back to the area where all the Shadowlings were hanging out she was really enjoying these battles! At least she was until a sudden screech from above nearly made her jump out of her skin! Suddenly she feels something hard and pointy jab into her back sending a bit of good sharp pain running though her! The sudden jab from behind causes her to stumble forwards but while she does she quickly whirls around as she falls trying to hit whatever it was that attacked her! Unfortunately she only managed to smack the Shadow bird's beak to no effect as she back flopped on the ground... Before Camilla could even get up she suddenly found herself pinned by the Shadow Bird! It was smaller then the other two but used the element of surprise and had a sharp beak! Happily it jabs down at Camilla's stomach sending pain running though her gut and knocking the wind from her! "A-ack!" She coughs before lashing out with her Main Gauche! Unfortunately she was pinned good and ended up missing entirely! The Shadow bird still had her pinned her and it was looking like Camilla was going to be in trouble soon if she didn't get the bird off her! Seeing as her Main Gauche had little effect after a bit of struggling she stabs upwards with her Buyou Rouzu! The bird screeches angrily but only shifts it's position on her which meant it was essentially stomping on her "Ooo! Get off!" she yelps in frustration as it stomps on her! The bird hearing her cry cackles then stomps harder on her which didn't help with her getting her breath back! Fortunately it made a big mistake and took it's foot off her arm! Without wasting any time Camilla swings out with her Bokken and gets a good slash across the shadowling's chest! It screeches and finally flaps it's way off her! Things were getting down to the wire now! When the bird flapped off Camilla she quickly rolls to the side to avoid being pinned again before scrambling up to her feet! Both her and the bird were breathing heavily but neither would give up! For a long moment they both just stared at each other waiting for one to make a move... Finally both move in unison! Camilla jumps forwards into the air twisting as she does to add momentum to her blade! She brings the sharpened edge right across the back of the bird's neck as it jabs forward! It's beak hits her soundly in the chest which causes her to fly back! Some how she manages to land on her feet and the moment she does she takes her usual battle pose ready to strike! Camilla was tiring fast but so was the bird! Both bird and Knight stared eye to eye for a long moment neither moving a muscle as the other waited for a opening... Finally tired and angry the Shadow bird makes the first move! It rushes at Camilla beak pointed forwards in a charge! She knew if she wanted a good shot she'd have to get close which meant taking this hit... Quickly she braces herself before the sharp pain of the beak hits her chest! The force of it causes her to skid back but she was still on her feet! The Bird squaks angrily before screeching in pain! It stumbles back and for a long moment they just look at each other... Both of the combatants were tired at this point but the darn Bird just wouldn't go down! Finally Camilla had had enough! It was time to end this! The bird was thinking the same thing even though it was on it's last legs! Recklessly it charges Camilla intent on jabbing her with it's beak! Quickly she crouches down while spinning her blade so it was near her left shoulder! She waits... waits... waits... and Now! She slashes upwards to the right while leaping then using the momentum whirls around and slashes the bird again in a downwards arc! The hit was powerful! And only by the grace of flailing limbs did the bird even hit her! The Bird's tail and feet hit her knocking her onto her back while it falls onto it's own back! For a long moment it flailed and screeches defiant of death before finally stilling and fading away... BATTLE DAMAGE Your Arena Rank: 1 DAMAGE DONE: 8! Tired but proud Camilla picks herself up off the ground... That was the hardest battle yet and even though the spiteful thing didn't drop any treasure she was still proud of herself! Ooo... But she'd need a good soak in the lake after that...
With that in mind she slowly makes her way back to the lake
