Nightly runs had become all the better once she started doing them powered up. She could fun a little faster, which meant running a little longer. It was just a wonderful feeling and she was glad she'd picked up the habit while in college. It also made patrols more fun as well.

Or at least they went faster. It seemed there wasn't much to patrols any longer, less youma around then she remembered. Not a bad thing, especially considering how many senshi there seemed to since she'd left. And there had been a lot before hand.

Making sure she wasn't in sight of civilians, it seemed easier that way, Lacrimosa continued on her run wondering if tonight would be another night by her lonesome, or if the trend of meeting other senshi would continue.

There was absolutely nothing wrong, she was just enjoying herself a little too much. However at the feel of an fast moving aura, something she still wasn't used to feeling, she slowed to let them catch up. And it wasn't until after she'd purposely stopped that she had the thought it was probably not a good idea to stop until she knew for sure if they were friend or foe.

As Elpis came into view, she tried to give the other her best friendly smile. "Good evening!"

"I'm fine, thank you for asking~"

Maybe just a little awkward. Especially as she hadn't seemed to realize that it might have looked like there had been trouble with how she'd been running. She had been going pretty fast.

And then the second question came and Lacrimosa looked back herself before blinking. A laugh in embarrassment followed as well, hands moving to smooth down her skirt some.

"No, not really. I was just on a nightly run and patrol." An apologetic smile. "I'm sorry if I worried you, I've grown rather fond of what the boost in power allows me when I'm running."

"Well sort of," she replied, giggling softly. "It's not much, I don't think, but we move a little faster, hit a little stronger then if we were in our civilian forms. At least from what I've come to figure out. Plus I don't tire as quickly when running full tilt in this form."

And that was always a plus.

"A pleasure to meet you Elpis. I am Sailor Lacrimosa, Senshi of Cherry Blossoms." A small little nod of her head and a sweet smile.

That earned a laugh from Lacrimosa as well, rather amused by the idea of attempting to wrestle a civilian just to try out the extent of one's abilities. Probably not a good idea, civilians could be very breakable.

"Metal huh?" a smile. "That sounds like an interesting power to have. Probably a lot more damaging then cherry blossoms." Another laugh. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like to have a sphere that actually caused some damage. Not that it would have helped her much in the past, but it would be a plus now.

"The jumping is nice. Helps you get to high places if you need to. It's helped me get on rooftops a couple of times." It was harder to run on the tops of buildings though.

"You know, that's not an illogical thought to take. Assuming it has something to do with your shoes."

If you didn't know about the added power boosts it was a logical thought process to take. Especially with so many fantasy stories and games out there that used shoes that could help you jump higher.

"That would cause some problems, wouldn't it? Quite a risk there to injure teammates." But a handy attack if one was outnumbered perhaps? Speaking of. "You don't often go out on patrols alone, do you?"

Granted she couldn't say too much about that, often going out alone herself. But then, for the time being, she knew she was taking risks she wouldn't have thought about before her time away from being a Senshi. It was a stupid thought of making up for lost time, perhaps?

"Or, you at least have some one you can let know when you're patroling? Another Senshi?" Elpis seemed like a smart young woman but she was wary of others, especially newer (in her mind) going out with out telling anyone.

"Telling someone is important, that ways someone knows where you were if something was to go wrong."

She really needed to find someone she could use as either a patrol buddy or just someone she could shoot a message to so someone knew what she was up to. Maybe one day.

"But, as you said, you get by. And you seem to have some idea of what to do and how to handle yourself. One can't really ask for more then that."

"I... don't really know. I can't speak for any of them? Most of the senshi I knew years ago were all my level, though they're probably higher leveled now." A sheepish look and she rubbed the back of her head. "I've been out of the game for several years, and lost contact with a lot of them."

That was what she got for never putting them in her phone, she supposed.

"Things were a lot simpler back then though? So... it's possible that whatever happened while I was away has them fighting their own battles or something? Or they're handling this war however they thing they need to?

"But it is frustrating to hear that they aren't involving themselves more in the lives of newer senshi. I would think they would be trying to better train new senshi so they aren't fumbling around trying to figure it out on their own."

Maybe... maybe she should really attempt to do such a thing? Not that she was a high leveled senshi or anything, and she didn't know nearly as much as she thought she should, but... At least she seemed to care enough about the newer generation of senshi.
