Pentacle Desire Spell

This is a spell my mother sent me through the mail.
I am not sure if she got it from a book or a website, so sadly there is no source of where it was published.
If I do find a source, I will edit this to include the source.

Supplies: construction paper, scissors, writing utensil, and tape.

-Make a star out of construction paper and write your desire in the center.
-Begin with the star over your head in the air as if you are grabbing your desire out of the air.
-As you recite the charm below, lower your arms and touch the point of the star
in a clockwise direction to draw to you, and counter-clockwise to push it away.

Repeat the charm three times.

"From the heavens to the ground
Stars above send energy down
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water
Soul of man, son and daughter
Circle round without an end
Evil flees and time will bend
Star of power points aflame
Unify in ________ name!

(say this only at the end) As I desire, it shall be so.
So mote it be!"

-Then beginning with the top point of the star, fold each point clockwise towards the center.
-Tape to secure it shut.
-Carry it in your pocket or purse until your desire is manifested.
-Then give thanks and burn it, and scatter the ashes to the wind.

To Get a Job Spell
My mother sent me this though the mail, so I am unable to properly source it.
I will edit this if I do find a source.

Supplies: embroidery hoop, green tissue paper, paper, a writing utensil, glue,
a roll of new pennies, and your favorite incense.

This spell is suggested to be cast during a new moon or first quarter. It also needs to be cast in a circle.

The first step for this spell is to create a list using a writing utensil and paper. This can be done outside of the
spell at a different time and day, but this list is required for the spell work.

-While working on the list, think of what type of work you'd like.

List Instructions:
1. The salary you need (be realistic about it without cutting yourself short)
2. What kind of job you would like to do
3. What kind of environment you'd like to work in
4. What kind of people you'd like to work with
5. What kind of supervisor would you like to work with
6. Location of the job
7. What kind of transportation that you'll need
8. How long you would like this job to last (don't say forever, life changes as well as jobs)

-Now it's time to cast a circle.
-Cleanse, consecrate, and empower all of your supplies.
-Stretch (carefully!) a few layers of the tissue paper in the hoop and secure it. Glue your list to the center
of the hoop. Set the hoop down on a flat surface. Arrange the pennies around the outside of the hoop
so the spacing is pleasing to your eyes.
-Then glue the pennies clockwise on the flat edge of the hoop while saying this charm:

"The circle is unending
from birth to death to birth
And life is but a pattern I weave upon this Earth.
This spell is for employment, to meet my needs and more.
The energy I raise this eve
Will open fortune's door."

-When the glue dries, repeat the charm three times, then blow on the hoop while visualizing a vortex
drawing employment and prosperity to you.
-End the circle.
-Hang the hoop on a window (preferred) or wall facing north.
-Once you get a job, put the hoop in a safe place.
-Later when you decided to leave the job, dismantle the hoop on a full moon at midnight, saying:

"I honor the work you did for me
But now I must move on.
A better job awaits me
At the coming of dawn.
The fire will release the pact
The air sends magick home.
I'm very pleased that in this job
I've learned a lot and grown.
But now the North will open up
New treasure come to me.
Therefore this Witch releases you
As I will, so mote it be!"

Magickal Water
This is from Silver Ravenwolf's Solitary Witch: The Ultimate Book of Shadows for the New Generation.
I tweaked it a little bit to suit my needs, but that is about it.

Types of Magickal Water: Crystal and Thunder
Crystal Water is used for healing and purifying. It is a good replacement for holy water.

Thunder Water is used for banishing and warding off bad spirits as well as purifying. It's basically charged Crystal Water.

How to Make Crystal Water

Supplies: A cleansed crystal (preferably Quartz), bowl (or container) of water (tap water, spring water, or
rain water is fine, your preference!), and salt.

This requires a circle being cast.

-Cleanse a crystal if you have not already.
-Bless and empower it to suit your need for blessing, purifying, and healing.
-Take the crystal, and stir the water while reciting the spell,

"Sweet ______, I ask for your blessings upon this water, I consecrate it in your name.
May it be used only for good and its power be magnified tenfold."

-Add the crystal to the water.
-Then you add the salt.

How to Make Thunder Water

-You make Crystal Water, first.
-Once you have Crystal Water, leave the crystal water out when it thunderstorms.

Reveal What Someone Thinks of You
I got this from a witchy newsletter from Everything Under the Moon. If you sign up, they will send you spells.

Supplies: a piece of paper and a writing utensil.

-Write the name of the person you are wondering about on a piece of paper.
-Fold the paper in half, then half again.
-Draw an eyeball on the outside of the folded page.
-Slip the page under your pillow and before bed repeat three times:

"With dreamers eyes I seek to see,
What this person thinks of me.
Be it good or be it ill,
Reveal to me as is my will."

-Now close your eyes and picture this person sitting across a crowded room.
-The room is all abuzz with
conversation you cannot hear clearly. This is gossip about you that this person started. It may be good things
or it may be bad.
-As you move toward the person let yourself fall asleep.
-When you wake, jot down what you heard in your dream, particularly anything they said or did. Your answer will reveal itself.

If you do not receive the answer to your questions, consider what was revealed to you instead.

Perhaps there is a truth you are missing that's more compelling than the one you seek.

The Well of Forgiveness
I got this from a witchy newsletter from Everything Under the Moon. If you sign up, they will send you spells.

Supplies: Red inked pen, a piece of paper, a small jar, and vinegar.

-To enable you to forgive someone who has wronged you, write their name nine times with red ink on the piece of paper.
-Place the paper into the jar and pour vinegar over the paper, covering it. (No need to fill the jar with vinegar.)
-Secure the lid on the jar.
-You may wish to melt some wax around the lid, but that is optional.
-Bury the jar away from your home.

Spell to Trap an Evil Spirit
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

Supplies: salt water - one part (sea preferred) salt to eight parts of water, thirteen dried rose petals,
thirteen rose thorns, a small glass jar with a tightly fitting lid.

-Put the rose thorns into the jar one at a time and as you do this and drop one in, chant the following words each time:

"Thou Demon presence. Be no more!"

-Crush up the thorns in the jar.
-Crush up the rose petals seperately and add them to the jar.
-Add the salt water.
-Keep the jar open overnight.
-The next morning before the sunrise close the lid. All the evil should now be trapped inside the jar.
-Cover the jar with a cloth and bury it far away from the house in a place that has no buildings nearby.

Honor Your Household Spirits
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

When presenting your house spirits with offerings of incense,
candles or what not you can say this little chant:

"Spirit of the house, Take heart and live,
To every chamber This light I give,
To every corner This breath I send
Approve and favor my willing hand."

Storm Spell
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

Supplies: a small broom, a spoon, rice, salt, water, a small bowl, a red candle (optional if you want lightning).

This requires a circle being cast.

-Light the candle.
-Pour the water into the bowl and say:

"Rains of time for what it's worth,
Empty thine eyes upon this earth."

-Stir the water with a spoon imagine a huge storm cell forming.
-Place the broom into the water, broom brings the winds. Say this:

"Winds shall follow effortlessly,
Tearing through every limb of tree"

-Continue to stir the mixture imagining the storm getting bigger.
-Add the rice, this is to cause the down pour.
-Start stirring really fast.
-Add the hot wax from the candle... and say:

"Lightning strike quick and long
Make it last make it strong."

-Add the salt and say:

"By the powers of three times three let it be"

-Take the mixture and throw it outside into the wind.

Spell to Bring Rain

Supplies: a bowl of water.

This spell needs to be cast outside.

-Take some of the water in your hands and say:

"Rain, rain, come our way.
Fill the sky, soothe the land.
I give you water from my hand."

Spell for Improved Memory/Concentration
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

Supplies: a yellow candle.

Begin on a Thursday, perform for nine consecutive days.

-Light a yellow candle and concentrate for a moment on its yellow appearance. Then say the following five times.

"O cheerful yellow, Penetrate my mind, Improve my memory
Give me powers of great observation.
May I remember all I seek to recall.
May my concentration be Perfect in all things big and small."

Psychic Protection Spell
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

Supplies: favorite cleaning bath ingredients, protection incense, and a black candle.

It is best to find a work area that you can leave untouched for 3 days.
If you must put away your tools, try to leave the spell candle out in the open.
This requires a circle being cast.

-Prepare your work area by setting up any tools you may be using in addition to your spell candle.
-While setting up your area, concentrate on the purpose of your work.

-Do a cleansing bath. While you are bathing, concentrate again on the purpose of your spell.
Do not let negative thoughts enter your mind.

-After bathing, go to your work area.
-Cast a circle and light some incense.
-Envision a large, white ball of light surrounding you, your work area, and your home.
-Hold the candle between the palms of your hands and direct all of your positive energy into the candle.
-Place the candle in its candle holder.
-Prior to lighting the candle, say (either aloud, or to yourself):

"This candle represents protection over me in all things."

-Light the candle and say (either aloud or to yourself):

"As the light of this flame grows, I can feel the light and positive energy around me. As this candle burns,
everything around me is blessed with light and love. I am blessed with light and love. Negative energy is being banished."

-Sit back and watch the candle burn. Keep visualizing the white ball of light and protection around you.
-Envision your Higher Power blessing you and protecting you from harm. See yourself blessing
whoever or whatever it is that brings harm to you.
-Bless them so that they may be happy and will no longer wish to cause you harm. Feel the peace and love.

-When the candle had burned 1/3 of the way, say

"As the flame of the candle is extinguished--evil, negativity, and harm towards me is banished."

-Extinguish the candle.

Repeat this for two more nights. On the last night, after the candle has burned away and the
leftover wax has cooled, discard the wax in the garbage to symbolize throwing away that which causes you harm.

A Tarot Spell to Increase Psychic Visions
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

Supplies: a candle and 3 tarot cards. The Star, The High Priestess, and The Hermit.

This spell requires a circle to be cast.

-Cast a circle. Once you are done, say:

"I call upon the Source of All things to send me power.
I call upon the Universe to give life to my spell.
I call upon the elemental forces to draw the desire of my spell.
I call upon the astral forces to receive the image of my spell.
So mote it be!"

-Say while holding the tarot cards in your hands:

"I bring forth these symbols for my spell to be cast. Here shall be woven, chance, fortune,
and fate, so that my wish be quickly attained!"

-Lay out the cards in the following triangle:
The Star goes on the bottom left of the triangle.
The High Priestess goes on the top of the triangle.
The Hermit goes on the bottom right of the triangle.

The Star for inspiration, guidance, and creativity.
The High Priestess for focusing of the mind and intuition.
The Hermit for interpreting the knowledge you receive.

-Place a candle just above The High Priestess card. Say:

"I am open and receptive to higher levels of consciousness. Spirits of guidance are here for me
and I channel the knowledge they offer. I am open and receptive. My psychic centers are quickened. I open my
eyes and ears to all impressions that are coming to me. I spread the veil of being that I may look beyond.
I open the windows of 'where' and 'when' and I see beyond."

-Hold your hands over the cards. Say:

"Into these cards I direct the power from within me and the power called upon from the
spiritual forces around me. Mark well what I have done here! Bring to me my wish! I place this petition before the Universe.
May it be done for the greater good of all! By the power of the Universe and by the forces of the planes...I declare my spell to manifest!"

-Shuffle the cards. Then say:

"I release now the forces of the astral plane. I release all of the elemental forces.
I release the Universe. I release the power of the Source of All. Farewell and I bid you thanks!"

Spell to Increase Spiritual Awareness
I got this from here, under the website Everything Under the Moon. I tweaked it to suit my needs.

Supplies: a bowl, water, a red candle a purple candle, anointing oil, and sandalwood incense.

This spell requires an altar or sacred space.

-On your altar, take three deep breaths of air and begin to ground and center yourself.
-Light the red candle and sandalwood incense.
-Ask the Universe to bless this spell with the highest good of all.
-Gently sprinkle the purple candle with some of the water, saying:

"I cleanse thee oh ye magical tool in the name of the Universe, removing all
negative and disharmonious energies casting them out into the ethers."

-Now move the purple candle over the sandalwood incense while reciting:

"I consecrate oh ye magickal tool in the name of the Universe, removing all
negative and disharmonious energies casting them out into the ethers."

-Take the anointing oil in one hand and the purple candle in the other.
Starting at the mid-point of the purple candle, moving UP in a clockwise and circular motion, anoint the candle and say:

"I anoint you in the name of the Universe as a magickal tool to be used in the aiding of my magick.
I charge ye to increase my spiritual awareness that Love is the Key! Love is the Law!"

-Now starting at the mid-point again, moving DOWN in a clockwise and circular motion, anoint the candle and say again:

"I anoint you in the name of the Universe as a magickal tool to be used in the aiding of my magick.
I charge ye to increase my spiritual awareness that Love is the Key! Love is the Law!"

-Lastly, say:

"As my will, so divine will be done. So mote it be!"

-Spend of few moments quietly reflecting on the magick.
-Thank the Universe for their presence in your life.
-Extinguish the red candle.
-Place the purple candle in a safe place as to not be disturbed and allow it burn out completely.

Every time you notice the purple candle burning, repeat quietly to yourself that LOVE is the Key! LOVE is the LAW!
