What proceeded one of the troupe members to head out looking for one of those in charge had been the release of a rather great wave of magic from the troupe mistress's brother. It had succeeded in messing up the tent that he, and the messenger he was chatting with, as well as knocking over countless things outside. From there the messenger had excused himself, leaving the sage alone... and sent one of those outside running.
It had been Eira that the novice troupe member had been been looking for, seeking her out, feeling that she would bet he best one that could help. The problem being that he couldn't find, not right away, but he did see Sin'qua. She was always described, at least by Eira, as being second in command of security behind Gyuri. As such surely she'd be able to help? That thought in mind he hurried forward toward the normally stern faced woman and said, "Ahh, Miss Sin'qua, if you could, there has been an... ahh... incident? I'm not sure exactly what happened, a messenger went to see the blind sage and then things sort of went down hill from there." He explained, motioning to her before running back in the direction he'd come from.
In the middle of the mess that his magic had caused Makani was sitting in the middle of his tent, aware to a degree that he'd sort of made a giant mess of the area. He knew that he should likely pick up... but he couldn't seem to move. Not to mention that his ears seemed to be ringing and for the first time since he was really little he actually felt as blind as he was. It was as though he couldn't grasp hold of any of the magic he normally used to see with. Everything was dark, everything was too quiet, and he seemed to only be able to lift his hands up to rub them against his ears in an attempt to clear the ringing.
The magic user had been overseeing the construction of the inn, although she couldn't match Gyuri in sheer physical strength she had her magic to help ease the process along. Clearing earth for a celler and making a rather good foundation she wasn't entirely sure why more houses weren't built this way. Of course she did realize that not everyone had magic and with Makani's help she had been able to finally tap into it. She was looking over the plans to see if perhaps she could improve it any when she jerked a head up to hear a voice.
Looking over she spotted him, her eyebrows furrowing as she didn't like being interrupted about to tell him off she closed her mouth with a snap as he explained there had been some sort of problem. A messenger? To see Makani? Anything that involved the sage always had her at attention, she nodded her head before looking in the direction that he had indicated and then proceeded to go in. Huffing she placed a small rock on the plans so they wouldn't blow away and then trotted her way over to see the rather giant mess that Makani himself was in the middle of. A raised eyebrow as she observed the chaos around him. It was as if he had managed to run into every single thing he owned and yet there was a chaos about its distribution that indicated that..something was not quite right.
"Makani?" She called out to him dismissing the new troupe member with a wave of her hand. It wasn't that she didn't think he could help but she would much rather be alone with him. Stepping lightly through the mess even with being able to see she still managed to knock a few things over. "What happened?" She inquired trying to sound sincere and not her normally snarky self. Though whenever things dealt with the sage she felt her own face blush in an unbidden response.
Makani gave pause in rubbing at his ears, tilting his head, and heard a muffled voice though he couldn't quite hear what it was that was being said clearly. He shook his head, trying to clear the webs and said, a bit too loudly, "Who's there? I can't... what?" He had a feeling that whoever it was that was in his room was closer now, able to feel the footsteps on the ground even if he couldn't sense who it was that was there with his magic.
He lifted a hand and he did something he rarely if ever did, that being to open his hazy yellow eyes as though it might help him, "I'm sorry... my ears are ringing, give me a moment." He said, keeing the one hand held out toward whoever was there, though said hand seemed to be shaking, the other rubbing at one ear. Was it the messenger who was hanging around? Or was it someone else? Was it his sister? Was she mad at him for making a mess? He ducked his head, his eyes closing once more, "I'm sorry... I'll clean it up when I can..." He murmured, his voice barely a whisper now.
Perhaps it was seeing Makani in such a disoriented state that caused Sin'qua's heart to skip a bit, he was normally so calm and collected but right now...if she could find some rope she would of taken him there and then. If she were so bold anyway. Licking her upper lip she stepped closer and was close enough to take the outstretched and shaky hand that belonged to Makani if she so dared. She was about to touch his fingers with her own when he spoke again and when he seemed to behave like a child who had misbehaved by ducking his head she felt like her heart was going to explode.
The idea of just taking him right here and now overwhelming, but she wasn't so brave and thus she withdrew her hand a moment before moving to step beside him. Squatting down she looked around at the destruction and wondered what had happened. Leaning against him lightly to indicate she was there she felt her heart begin to race. She knew that he couldn't see her, and thus she took advantage of his disoriented state to enjoy just leaning against him.
"What did you do?" She inquired again this time speaking louder so that he could possibly hear her. There as a tempting moment where she wanted to speak into his ear and perhaps offer a quick nibble but she was blaming her conversation with Gyuri earlier to have sparked her sudden wild imagination that went along the perverse side. Reaching up she fiddled with a piece of her own hair before nudging him again. "Eira is going to kill you."
A hand came to touch his shoulder, a small, light one, that caused him to relax a touch. That touch was followed by a form leaning against his own, the warmth helping him to relax a little, and slowly the heavy feeling that was clinging to him eased a bit. The ringing in his ears started to fade a bit, and when she yelled at him he was able to make out what she was saying. He was asking him what he'd done and he sighed, leaning his head against her's, "Sin'qua." He murmured, half to himself, before he spoke again, "I... I lost control of my magic, I was told many times over that I couldn't let my emotions go crazy if I want to keep everything flowing just right."
He gave a little shake o fhis head before he gave a weak smile at what she said, "Ahh, probably, I think I made a bit of a mess of the place, huh?" The shock wave surely had to have made a mess. He was going to have a lot of work ahead of him in picking up, that he knew.
Letting his eyes close he gave a sighing sound, resting his head against that of Sin'qua. He was feeling awful at the moment, but at least Sin'qua was here, right? At least he wasn't alone, that helped. He was kind of glad that she was here as opposed to Eira, certain that it would end up loud.
Sinny stiffened slightly as he went to lean his head against her, he was really vulnerable right now wasn't he? Although she wasn't entirely sure the reason, perhaps someone he knew had passed away? She didn't think that one could lose control of their magic, but seeing the mess around them right now she was proven wrong. Swallowing she looked over to him, he was...so agonizingly close. If she leaned in just a bit more she could touch noses with him. Her face went beat red at the concept. Here she had just been contemplating molesting him and yet it was touching noses that got her hot and heavy?
"Everything okay?" She inquired bringing her voice down a couple notches as his hearing began to improve. "And yeah...I'll help you clean it up...hopefully before Eira catches sight of it." Sin'qua mentioned as she licked her lower lip in contemplation. Right now though she was perhaps thankful that his magic was out of whack, it meant he couldn't 'see' her as well and her emotions were all over the place. Reaching down before she could really over think it she took Makani's shaking hand in hers and held it rather tightly in her own. Hopefully he wouldn't notice her own shakiness...
"What happened?" She pressed wanting to make sure that Makani was okay, her perverted thoughts would just have to be translated into her writing that she had taken up doing whenever she was feeling an overwhelming need to pounce the man.
Makani gave a shake of his head, then gave a weak smile, "Thank you, hopefully you're right and we get it done before Eira finds out about... everything." He murmured, feeling a little better as she took his hand in hers, "I just need to calm down, then I can get the magic flowing again. At the moment it seems a little beyond my reach. Embarrassing... huh? I can't even grasp hold of enough of it to see anything."
He dragged in a breath, held it for a moment, then let it out slowly, "I... have I ever told you about my friend, Lusala? He was the son of a merchant that I met when I was younger. He was really kind of me, my first friend I made in Zena in fact." He moved his free hand to the scarf he had wrapped around his waist, something he always wore except on the hottest of days. He gave a soft, sighing sound, "He and his father traveled a lot, so I didn't get to see him as often as I'd of liked to."
Makani didn't seem to realize that tears were leaking out of his 'fox' eyes as he murmured, "I... got a letter from his father, Lusala... didn't make it through the war against the Obans." He breathed.
Still holding on the sage's hand she felt like she was sweating a lot and that made her rather self conscious she wanted to remove her hand from his to wipe it down but felt that perhaps she needed to just hold on for dear life else she may never be brave enough to grab a hold of him again. When Makani brought up Lusala she felt her heart sink, though she didn't know the intimate details she knew enough that this was the person Makani had feelings for. Leaving her the odd one out. Still she listened as Makani spun a tale about childhood friends and a distant relationship that prevented something from blossoming. Some smug part of her continued to add snide remarks to his tale in her mind of course before even that voice fell silent as Makani revealed that her rival hadn't made it through the war.
She should be happy about this, and yet how could she be when she glanced over to see the tears streaking down Makani's face. "Not all of us were lucky...I am sorry for your loss." The surly mage managed before she squeezed Makani's hand tighter. She wasn't entirely sure what else to say on the matter. if the guy was dead...she couldn't bring him back to life.
"It will be ..okay Makani..I know it hurts right now.." She managed to try and cheer him up, "but..you have lots of people who love and cherish you..."
He nodded, "I... I know... I guess I've been just holding out childish hope that he would show up again one day. I tended to sit in the snow with Rae, waiting for him and his caravan to show up a lot when I was a youngling." He murmured, he supposed that maybe he should have considered what Sin'qua had told him in the past, telling him that lives didn't last forever. He only wished he could have spent more time with his friend before he was lost to a needless war. He would have to pray that Chi allowed him a comfortable rest he thought to himself.
Giving a bit of a smile he said, "Thank you, Sin'qua." He gave a soft laugh and said, "I am sure it's difficult for you, to refrain from scolding me like you normally do." She really was being a lot nicer then normally, not a single terse word, no berating, and she was even being a lot more tactful then normal. He had to admit he was actually impressed by her attempts. It was kind of her.
"It is very childish to hope...and wish.." Sin'qua agreed but then again what had she been doing all this time herself? Hoping and wishing? Or was she being foolish and and scared? "It is also childish to be afraid..." She whispered mostly to herself looking over at Makani wondering if she should confess her feelings to him now. It seemed inappropriate to do so when he had just discovered that his childhood friend and possible love interest had passed away. But then again when had Sin'qua ever been appropriate?
"I.." She began but she found that she couldn't quite bring herself to confess, even as tactless as she could be this...would be crossing a line she wasn't sure she was prepared for. "Better help you clean up this mess." She continued with a sigh berating herself for not having the courage to actually tell Makani how she felt. As she gave his hand another squeeze she let go and went to stand up.
"You..know I ..also..." She began again before shaking her head, "never mind...maybe after Gyuri gets the courage I will have the courage as well." Sin'qua managed with a light yet bitter laugh.

Makani tilted his head as she spoke, wondering what it was that she was trying to stay. It seemed as though it was something she was having difficulties with her words, which was strange for Sin'qua. She might just be trying to figure out a way to make him feel better, which was kind of her. It was something that he was grateful for, just as he was grateful for her offering to help him clean up. He was supposed to be helping with getting the inn built and set up, he wasn't supposed to be destroying things... that was sort of the exact opposite of Eira's dream.
Pushing himself to his feet the blond stood there for a moment, trying to regain his footing, his balance, and his magical abilities, "It's weird to feel things without my magic to aid me, rather disorientating." He murmured, moving forward slowly, sliding his foot from side to side, finding things to pick up that way. He could sort of feel the very barest tingles of magic power around him, meaning he was recovering. His heart still hurt, but at least he wasn't feeling as overwhelmed by everything since he had Sin'qua there at his side. He wanted nothing more then to hug her as thanks... but she'd probably think he was weird. He was a grown man after all, he probably wasn't supposed to give out hugs at random.
"Thank you, Sin'qua, for everything." He murmured, listening to the sound of her foot steps as he moved along, making sure not to bump into her.
Watching as Makani struggled to walk along, his magic sight not with him it was hard ignoring the rising urge to pounce on him. She could openly flirt with him, blow him kisses and make other suggestive signs and he wouldn't have any idea. It was a stupid idea...really but it made her want to tug that sash around Makani's waist and undress him. Swallowing again she watched as he quietly tried to slip forward stumbling across debris and other items while he was in the dark.
Reaching out she tugged on that sash...she couldn't help herself, and tried to slow him down. "Maybe you should sit down until your 'sight' comes back." She suggested as she had the end of the sash in hand she was now testing its strength wondering how well it would work for tying up a person.
"What kind of material is this?" She inquired giving another tug on his waist. "Gyuri needs a bunch of scarves and sashes for a future project of his..." She hurriedly continued as she ran a hand up the length of the fabric stopping as it came close to his waist.
Makani gave a little jump when he was caught hold of and led by the long scarf he had tied around his waist. He found himself following along after her lead since it was easier then s struggling against her while his 'sight' was still all wonky. At her suggest that he sat down he shook his head, "I don't want to leave you to clean up a mess that I made, Sin'qua, that wouldn't really be right. It is kind of you to look out for me though." He would need to try his hardest to get his magic sparked again, not wanting to just sit around doing nothing while Sin'qua tended to his mess.
"Huh? The material?" He asked, lowering a hand to touch the scarf, a thoughtful look on his face, "I am not really sure, it was a gift so I can't say I know where it came from or what it's made of, something soft though. Woven raoti fur, maybe?" He was positive though, he couldn't say that he was exactly an expert when it came to cloth, what they were made of, and where they came from, "We can always ask the traveling merchants though, they are pretty knowledgable. Do you know when Gyuri will need the cloth for his project?"
He found himself a little curious as to what sort of project Gyuri was up to. Makani couldn't quite see him sewing or decorating... but with Eira putting everyone to work it was hard to say. She might very well have put him in charge of something like that, poor guy. Giving a soft sigh he said, "I hope that Eira isn't hassling him and putting him to work doing odd jobs."
Watching as Makani went to sit down she wanted to push him to the ground, probably safe since he was sitting rather than standing but...that wasn't what she was about to do. She tried to get her thoughts out of the gutter instead focusing on the questions and comments Makani said.
"Well you aren't very helpful right now as it is, I can clean up some..once your magic is back you can help." She stated a bit on the mean side, though she was still fiddling with the sash in her hands testing the fabric for its strength but trying not to actually wreck it since it was a gift to him.
"Hmm? Oh Gyuri may need it for when he moves in with my brother. Tie him down of sorts." She commented offhandedly wondering if Makani had noticed Gyuri's feelings for her brother. "I wonder...." Moving closer to Makani with the end of the sash she had made a loose loop and she slipped it over his hand before pulling it tighter. It was pretty good stuff for this kind of thing.
"I bet...you'd enjoy it.." She murmured mostly to herself before she realized what she was doing and coughed loudly before she went to undo the fabric from his wrist. "Ah..haha..I mea...n..." How was she suppose to really get out of this?
Makani gave a nod of his head, "If you are certain that you're alright with it." He murmured, feeling that Sin'qua was being rather kind today and that he shouldn't push his luck. She might very well yell at him if he didn't sit still and behave himself until he was able to get himself back under control once more. He settled into his seat, resting his hands in his lap, fiddling with his scarf a bit as he listened to Sin'qua.
"He's moving in with..." His words trailed off and he seemed to go silent for a moment, seeming to be struggling with his words, before he said, "Tie... down? What? Like..." He trailed off again, his skin flushing as the scenario ran through his mind. Surely... surely not? Sure, he knew that Gyuri liked Borra but was he really planning to tie Borra up? It was something that made his eyes go a little wide before he flailed his hands, seeming to be trying to clear the thoughts from his mind. No, that wasn't something that he wanted to think about, it felt rude somehow.
"I... huh? Wait, what?" He squeaked as Sin'qua suggested that Makani might enjoy such a thing. It caused his blushing to get worse, spreading across his cheeks down his neck and even colored his ears, "I... can't say I've ever thought about it."
Coughing she nodded her head, realizing after a moments delay he couldn't see that. Sighing she undid the fabric before she moved off a little distance mentally picturing him tight up while she went about vaguely gathering the things about them. "Ah well..you know my brother sleep walks... So I warned Gyuri..." She managed trying to cover up her perverted thoughts and smother them outright. But as she risked a glance at Makani and spotted his rather red face she felt her heart nearly stop. That expression...she wanted to write down every little detail so she could go back to her tent and write about...her fantasies.
"Ah...ha...yeah I've never done it myself...I just.." Sinny continued digging her own grave as she tried to cover up her embarrassment by making a clatter with some of the items she was gathering from the ground. "It would be exciting.. not knowing what your partner is going to do next..." She sighed before coughing again. " Ah...yea...sh...so Gyuri offered to let my brother share a room with him when the inn is made up. Guess..I'll be sleeping alone..again..unless you wanted to join me."
Dead silence filled the air as soon as the words were uttered, her face went several shades of reddish purple and for the first time she wished she could just disappear. What had she just suggested???
Wait... was it a precautionary measure only, so that Borra wouldn't wander off in his sleep? Or was it something else entirely more 'adult'? He couldn't really say for certain, all he knew was that it wasn't his business. He shouldn't think about his friends in that sort of situation. This talk, as embarrassing as it was, sure was helping get his mind off of more serious and painful things. He wondered if she was saying such off the wall things just to get his spirits up? Hard to say really he thought to himself, but if that were the case it was helping.
As she continued, explaining things to him, about her thoughts on tying, as well as talking about Gyuri's offer to Borra, he found himself mulling over such things. So Gyuri was finally going to confess? A question that he was about to ask Sin'qua when she asked him a far more interesting surprising question, about whether or not he wanted to come sleep with her since she'd be sleeping all alone in her room when Borra moved in with Gyuri. He sat there in silence, mouth slightly agape, seeming to have lost his ability to make words for what felt like an eternity.
"I... um... Wow, that's an invitation that I never expected." He murmured, a bit surprised, "I would hate to be a bother to you. If you are worried that I can't take care of myself I promised I will get my magic back and be back on my feet in time."
The silence gnawed away at her, it wasn't until Makani spoke that she nearly fell over in disbelief. She had pretty much invited him to her bed and he didn't want to be a bother?? She wasn't sure if she should be relieved or really angry at this point. Anger however always took over this poor lass when it came to thinking straight.
"Well you know what?" Came the words sharp and to the point she had gone from squatting to standing in one quick movement, "You and your..magic can just...leave me alone then!" Sin'qua snapped, even if she hated the words she was saying, and that she didn't mean it in that way she couldn't help but let her rage boil over.
"What am I Makani? Just a angry girl who can't get her feelings across? I pretty much invited you to sleep with me and you ...'don't want to be a bother?'!!" Sin'qua's words were getting louder and louder as she spoke like a child suffering from a temper tantrum and yet all she wanted to do was leave. Something kept her standing there as her own tears of frustration dripped down her cheeks. "Well I get it now. I am sorry I keep trying to care for you." Came the final words though she continued to stand there in silence. She wasn't sure if he could sense her still being there or not but she couldn't will herself to move away either.
Makani looked for a moment confused as Sin'qua was suddenly snapping at him, something that seemed to feel... well, somehow more normal. As though she was no longer walking on egg shells around him after his episode. Of course there was also worry, he had clearly upset her, which wasn't something that he had wanted to do. He opened his mouth, trying to get a word in edgewise... but failed. She wasn't pleased with him, not in the least bit, and after a moment he suddenly realized why.
"W-Wait... wait, you were inviting me to... to sleep with you? I thought you meant s-sleeping over because you were worried... I didn't know you meant 'sleep with' instead of sleep with." He said, sounding quite surprised by this strange turn of events. More swirling emotions to worry about, but this time, like a smack to the back of the head, this seemed to be moving again. The magic was whirling around them, allowing Makani to 'see' once more and as he did so he could feel her energy as it whirled about her. It was a mass of emotions, some good and some bad, all of it quite bright. It was something he'd be thankful to see were the situation different.
He thought about it for a moment before he moved his hands undoing the long scarf that was around his waist, holding onto either end, and used it in conjuncture with a wind spell, to loop it around her waist. That done he pulled the prickly girl over to where he was sitting, "I apologize, Sin'qua, I am not the best at catching hints it seems."
Sin'qua didn't know what to say, even as he realized her feelings and he felt just as awkward as she did. She wanted to run but instead she stood there biting her lip. She knew if she spoke that she would say more hurtful things and that wasn't what she wanted to do. She didn't want to alienate him, not now.
"I know I am a selfish person...you lost someone you care about and all I can think of are my feelings." She managed a look of surprise on her face as the fabric was tossed like a lasso around her and Makani gently pulled her towards him. She wanted to push him away feeling vulnerable at this moment. Though in her mind a hundred perverted scenarios were being written out and she could only hope she could remember them all so she could jot them down.
"Well...being blind hasn't...helped you in that sense.." She stated in a snarky manner. Reaching out to pinch Makani's cheek and then her arm as if making sure this wasn't entirely a dream.

Makani gave a half smile and said, "I am quite mixed up as far as my emotions are going today. I feel as though I was facing off against one of those giant Oban monsters all over again." Not that he'd actually fought with them so much as he avoided them to the best of his ability while healing those around him that needed healing. At the moment he felt just as shaken up and tossed around though. Giving a sigh he withdrew the scarf that he'd used as a lasso, setting it on the cot beside him, listening as Sin'qua spoke to him with her usual snark. It seemed that she was feeling much more herself again, which was good.
"Yes, it caused me to miss quite a bit. Even my magical 'sight' can miss some things, like the expressions that one is making at me, or things that they are thinking about." He murmured, lifting a hand to scratch it against the back of his head, "I am pretty bad at inferring things, perhaps if I squint a little harder?" That part was said in a teasing manner before he pushed to his feet. The magic seemed to be swirling about him again, a very weak, vague amount of it, but it was present, something Sin'qua would be able to sense.
Giving her a smile, lifting a hand to rest it on her shoulder, he said, "I never meant to insult you by refusing your offer, I just... missed it." As to what it was that he wanted to do about that offer he couldn't say. It wasn't something he was expecting, that much he knew for certain.

As he joked about squinting harder so that he wouldn't miss anything next time she couldn't help but give him a light punch in the shoulder. She was getting the sense that his 'sight' was becoming stronger, and that only made her blush even more. Sin'qua although she knew Makani could 'see' in this magical fashion she didn't fully understand the extent of how much he could interpret.
With his hand on her shoulder and the sash still around her waist she was in a sense trapped by him. It got her breathing rather heavily as she really wanted to place her hands on..some naughty parts of Makani in response.
Instead she coughed slightly, she felt like she could pass out if she remained too close to him, "W..ell its...not a l..limited time offer....if you missed it this time...I..can..always offer..it again." She managed trying to collect her thoughts and words. "Makani...I..am sorry I blew up at you. I am not good with my emotions...and..if I am this close to you for much longer...I won't be held responsible if I bite you."

Makani gave a little grunt, shifting the shoulder that Sin'qua had given a punch to before he said, "My, my, Sin'qua, hitting a blind man! How cruel!" He said in a teasing tone of voice before he gave her a smile. He supposed that the punch to the arm might be well deserved, he was teasing her after all, and she wasn't the sort that was about to stand back and take it. Giving a smile he said, "I am glad that you are back to your normal self, Sin'qua. I was starting to get worried when you were being too nice to me." He was sure she was doing it just because he'd been in state, but still, it was quite strange for her. At the same time he did appreciate her help even if it came along with getting her riled up at him. He had a feeling that was something that couldn't be avoided since she was still herself.
A soft smile appeared on Makani's face, "Is that so? I am almost tempted to ask for a second invitation... though I fear you might punch me in the shoulder again if I did." He said with a bit of a smile, lifting his hands up so that he brush the tips of his fingers against Sin'qua's face, getting a better feel for what it was that she really looked like. He could get some information from his magic but it was easier to 'see' her energy that way, when it came to details his fingers were far more useful for picking things up.
"It's alright, Sin'qua. We have been traveling together for a while so I know that you can be quite expressive and tend to get riled up easily. I should apologize for not getting what you meant. I suppose that I am not really all that good at picking up on that sort of thing. It's not exactly something I am well versed." A confession that made his cheeks color a touch, a blush that darkened a little when she threatened to... bite him? That was a new one. He couldn't help but to laugh a little, "You're going to bite me? Haha, that's an interesting new threat for sure." Definitely one he'd never heard before.

The poor girls mind went blank as Makani's fingers went to touch her face, it was so gentle...as his finger tips explored her features and it took a long moment before the wheels began turning again and very slow grinding kind of turn but they were turning none the less.
"Y..our probably right." She managed in response to his first comment about asking for another invitation. Should she be bold? Shifting on the spot she was close enough to punch his shoulder...which meant she could ..well...
The young woman looked around a moment, glancing from side to side to make sure no one else was around before she leaned in taking Makani's hand and cupping it to her face a moment. Then her teeth sought out the very tip of one of his fingers. "You think my threats are empty?" Sinny inquired as she nipped the tip of his pointer finger before she lightly kissed it better. "I...won't rush things...and I would rather the others not know...if things do..come about...I...need to still sort out feelings...as well."

Makani gave a thoughtful sound as his fingers traced Sin'qua's face, getting a much better feel for what she looked like. He was about to comment when she caught hold of his hand, holding it to her face, and he gave a smile, "I 'see' you a lot better now, Sin'qua, thank you." He murmured, glad that she actually allowed him to do such a thing, and without even going through with her threat. At least not at first. Just as he was thinking that she gave the tip of his index finger a n**, something that caused a jolt to go through him, and made his mouth drop open with surprised. She'd actually done it he thought to himself, mind whirling.
"Huh? Oh, yeah... if you're certain." He wasn't sure how the others might react to such a thing. They already had one almost romance going on between troupe members after all and he didn't want Eira hassling Sin'qua. Giving her a smile he said, "Whatever happens I will leave any decision about telling others within the troupe up to you." He felt it was for the best that he follow her lead in that matter since he wouldn't be able to catch their reactions as well as she would.
Giving her a smile he said, "Since I am feeling better I should probably see about cleaning up my mess." He could sense how bad it was now that he could 'see' once more, "But after that, maybe we can do something? Even if it's just going to get dinner together?" It wouldn't exactly be alone or romantic or anything, not with as crowded as the area around the inn was, but at least it would be something?

Sin'qua was happy that Makani understood why she wanted to keep things a secret between the two of them. Last thing she needed was Eira butting in or...worse her own brother being annoying as he normally was. When his mouth dropped in surprise as she nipped him it was hard to resist pouncing him right there.
Of course he had to bring up the mess and she looked around, casting a glare like it was at fault, though as he asked about eating dinner together she felt her heart skip a beat. She looked at him sharply unsure of how to respond other than giving a slight nod of her head, then recalling that he couldn't see that cleared her throat.
"Alright. But this could take awhile....to clean up..you certianly did a number to the place." She complained as she poked Makani's cheek with her nail before moving slowly away.

Makani gave a nod of his head, lifting a hand to scratch it against the back of his head, "Yeah, I need to be careful not let my magic get away from me like that. Given that I always have it wrapped around me to help me to 'see', at least when I am awake, it causes a bit more of a mess when I lose control." He said, feeling a little bad that he'd made such a mess. It had been a shock, the news that he'd gotten, but he had to try to keep that shock from causing him to make another mess again. He would have to mourn the loss of his friend, pray that he passed on to another life, and that he rest well in the afterlife.
Making a couple motions with his hands he set to casting some wind spells to gather the smaller things that he had knocked up, bring them over to him. Once he had them in hand he was able to determine if they were his, which he set on his cot for now, or things from outside that he'd knocked over, which were put in their own stack. Like said this was going to take a while he realized as he went about his work.
"Thank you for the help, Sin'qua... and here's to hoping we can get most of the mess fixed up before we draw any attention from my sister." Makani couldn't help but to hope she was busy with other, more important business, and wouldn't be able to get here straight away.

The young mage nodded her head again, perhaps out of habit. She knew that Makani couldn't see her doing it but she did it anyway. There was quite a mess...and using Makani as an example she used wind magic as well to gather up anything that was broken and useless.
"Yeah..I wouldn't want to explain to her why everything exploded either..." She agreed, as Eira could be rather intimidating though for Sinny she as more irritating than anything. There was a lot to do though, and Sin'qua was rather lazy.
Sighing she looked back to Makani as she bent over to pick up a couple unbroken items. The day sure had been full of interesting...events..
