After obtaining his helmet and his leggings, Ignatius decided that he might-as-well keep trying for more armour pieces. He would eventually find all of them, right? And then he could look like the powerful knight he was clearly becoming. At the thought of this, he flexed a little in his pride, just because that was a good way of showing how prideful he was in the idea, he supposed. Considering that on every quest he had ever went on, his horse abandoned him, Ignatius was not sure he really felt like bringing the horse along this time. He was clearly able to manage just fine without him, considering he had managed to get through the quests anyway when he didn't have his horse around. It seemed Ignatius had little choice though, and it was perhaps with a groan that he fetched the horse to go with. Damn horse. It was probably just going to abandon him again. He grabbed his food and Caelestis, placing them on the horse as needed, before mounting the horse to get ready for a new quest once again. Perhaps, this time, he would succeed without inevitably needing to start over from the start! QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 28/28 YOUR HP: 50/50

And so, the quest began, Ignatius riding his horse towards the winding forest by taking a path through the cliffs. Was this really the only way he could take? Ignatius was starting to wonder if he could perhaps find a better way to go than this, considering there seemed to be so many dysentery problems with this route-- Was that an angry boar? It was a much more normal boar, thankfully, than whatever it was that was haunting the corrupted Camelot, but it still was not too happy to see him, and it made that much very clear with a loud roar as it stood on its hind legs. Alarmed, Ignatius yanked his horse's reins to a stop before he attempted to redirect the horse around the angry animal. This, unfortunately, was not too effective, and the boar got a swipe on him anyway. Wincing, Ignatius keeled to the side a bit, looking down at the blood that was now dripping from his leg. That was not good, but he had to keep going. He didn't have time to stop and bandage himself now. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 28/28 YOUR HP: 40/50

Ignatius continued to the winding forest, taking a similar pattern as the one he had taken the last time he had gone through. After all, last time, he had been fortunate enough to find that someone had left food for him, just in time to replenish him when he had been abandoned by his terrible horse. How did one get a noble, obedient steed, anyway? The similar pattern seemed to cause him to be quite fortunate, as he found some more food on the ground in the exact same spot as it had been before. How fortunate! Ignatius hopped off his horse for a moment, gathering the food and placing it in the pouches hanging off the horse's saddle. This was perfect! More food, and only the mountains and the summit to go. Though his leg still hurt, Ignatius observed dully, as he mounted his horse once again and continued forward onto the mountains. And onto the mountain Ignatius' quest for more armour pieces went! It was a fairly calm trip so far, all things considered, though Ignatius seemed to be doing a much better job this time of attracting strange animals to him than he had done on his helmet questing. Hopefully there would be no more where that came from, because he preferred to just grab the item at the top of the summit and go without anymore of this strange animal business. It was then that Ignatius came across a familiar sight from his travels with Arrakis for the leggings, though it was nonetheless a still terrifying sight. In his alarm, Ignatius pulled on his horse a little too hard, causing it to rear back and deposit some of the food that Ignatius had just gathered, along with the food he had actually brought on his own, on the ground. While Ignatius might have thought of getting off his horse and gathering the food back up, he needed to get away from this beast of fire first, and so, the food completely slipped from his mind. His horse dashed away with Ignatius on his back, quickly making its way towards the summit before any other fire beasts decided to show themselves. It was only after he nearly reached the summit on his panicked horse that he thought that it was, perhaps, a very good thing that he had run into that food deposit on the way through the winding forest. At long last--though perhaps not long last at all, considering Ignatius did not find himself needing to run away this time--he found himself at the summit of the mountain, where he could gather a new piece of artifact armour. This excited him as he hopped off his horse to grow closer to where the artifact might have been stationed. Sure enough, there was an artifact once he had reached the very middle of the summit. It appeared to be a mantle, made of ... flowers? Or with flower patterns on it? That was definitely interesting, though Ignatius wasn't entirely sure why someone would put flower embroidery on an armour mantle. But Ignatius shrugged it off. His now. Didn't matter. His horse had stayed with him the whole time this time! Ignatius decided as he placed the mantle on himself that maybe he should keep bringing this horse with him. Maybe all the horses weren't so terrible after all. QUEST STATUS USING CAPE Food remaining: 19/28 YOUR HP: 40/50
