Cadence did not resist when Galahad requested that she spend the night in quarantine down in the dungeons below the castle. It made since for them to be separated from the rest after what had happened in the treasure room. While the other knights looked for a way to deal with the plague and cure those who had been afflicted by it. Part of her still had trouble believing that three great knights had been slain that day, if she had not seen it she might not have believed it at all, especially since one had been brought down by a fellow apprentice knight.

When Galahad returned it took a moment for his words to sink in, 'A proper send off?' What did he mean by let the corruption die? Wasn’t anyone going to ask what had happened down in the dungeon or at least check them for signs of the plague before killing everyone? As she began to realize that they meant to kill those who had been gathered in the dungeons her stomach sank at the idea of what would happen when those doors would open again. Would they even open them again to bring them to the executioners axe? Or would they just be left here to rot without food or water.

As the fear and anger started to creep into her she heard sounds from the others around her that indicated that they were trying to find ways of escaping. She listened as people tried to come up with plans to escape amongst arguments that it would never work.

She couldn’t believe that the great knights would betray them like this. She growled angrily as she kicked the wall. Trying to find a way out seemed almost impossible but she had to try anyways. She couldn’t just lay down and die. All of a sudden the doors to the cells all swung open and a secrete passage way opened. Cadence didn’t stop to think twice on if it was a trap, she ran out of her cell and down the passage the first chance she got.
