Aoi Sukai was traveling to see new places. Learn new things. Seeing there isn't a lot that he understands about the world. Maybe this is why he was so pure and innocent. Maybe seeing the world and learning new things would make him lose his innocence. This thought made him not want to travel. But he wished to see all the pretty places he could. He wanted to know about so many different plants and small animals. Like birds and rabbits. Maybe even those buzzing bees. He might have some flutter blood in him but the smallest he can size down to is about the size of a fox. So maybe... Just maybe it would be nice to meet any with flutter blood that could size down smaller then that. He thought. Oh but there is also the wind blood he carries but because his wings are half wind and half flutter he isn't a strong flier. So maybe meeting one with full feathery wings and ask them about flying.
Although he is pretty bad at flying unless he is sized down to fox size then he isn't so bad at it. Still not great at it which leaves his wings pretty much no more then decor on him. Because he finds it a pain to size down so small just to fly. And he isn't all that helpful to plants like other flutters might be. But maybe he can learn. This way to Darken's Teepee
Seriav landed gently, slightly winded from her romp in the air. She had been racing her familiar, Vire, who was still trying to catch up. Smiling brightly, she turned around to watch the bird zip up behind her, trilling at her sharply. He was very protective and didn't approve of her wandering off on her own. He didn't approve of much, honestly, so she grinned at him, happy and content, and turned to see where she was as his wings hummed in her ears.
It didn't take her more than a moment to realize that she wasn't alone. She tilted her head, looking him over. He was a unicorn, like her! But... those wings! She'd never seen wings like that before. She fluffed hers out a bit before approaching him, smiling, still smiling, always smiling.
Vire zipped in front of her, stalling her progress with a low hum of warning. "What are you doing? You know better than to just wander up to strangers! Think of what your father would say!" He hissed at her, keeping his voice low enough that the stallion shouldn't be able to hear him. Vire flitted around in front of her, one eye on the stallion. He just didn't trust anyone around Ser. She was to be protected at all costs.
Giving him a 'please' look, Seriav ducked around him, closing the distance between herself and the stallion, light on her feet and smiling. She nodded her head at him in lieu of a greeting, gesturing to his wings with a broad swipe of her own. Then she paused, looking behind her at her familiar and stomping one hoof, waiting for him to translate.
Vire sighed, long and loud, before putting himself between the stallion and his charge again. "She says 'hello'." He began. "And that she likes your wings, they are very pretty. Also, I don't approve of this meeting." He sniffed disdainfully. "You better not try to hurt her."
Seriav rolls her eyes so hard it almost hurts and shakes her head in way of apology for her overzealous familiar.

Aoi Sukai perks up seeing the visitor as he watches her movements and then gets a humming bird in his face pretty much. "I am Aoi Sukai. It is an honor to meet you both. And hmm my wings." He looks back at his wings. He understands what he is and other breeds of Soquili as well. His innocence and purity is mainly on matters of relationships. Friendships though he understands so when the familiar said that he didn't approve it confused Aoi a bit. "I have Flutter blood in me. So my wings are half wind and half flutter. I can also size down like a lot of flutters. But because I only have a little Flutter blood in my veins. The smallest I can go is about the size of a fox." He points out as he smiles. Aoi Sukai is one of the sweetest soquili one could ever meet.
Looking at the bird a bit. "When you said that you don't approve of a meeting. I don't understand. Do you wish your friend here not make any friends?" It shows on what he understands and what he doesn't. His face and eyes pretty much always give what he is thinking away. It is always written on his face somehow. He learned that when he was little when he tried to get outta trouble. Since then his thinking is 'why bother hide anything from anyone?' [[RP post hosts 237 words --again just a note to myself--]]

Seriav smiled brightly at him, letting her eyes widen in wonder at the idea of him shrinking in size. It was such a marvelous idea! Obviously, it wasn't something she could do, since she wasn't a... flutter? That's what he called it. Which probably made her a wind, but she wasn't sure. Fluttering her wings, she nodded her head toward her familiar.
Vire hummed, zipping over to hover near Ser, eyeing the stallion, waiting for him to make any sort of move that the bird didn't like. "We've never met anyone who can change size before. She's impressed."
Seriav stomped her foot again, nodding at Aoi, but not taking her eyes off the familiar.
"Oh, right." He sighed, rolling his eyes. "Her name is Seriav. Or Ser, if you are feeling particularly friendly. I'm Vire, her companion and guardian." He puffed up, proud of his position in the Faythren family. He was entrusted with the life of their precious princess, and he couldn't be more proud.
She laughed silently, ducking her head for a moment to hide that. It would take a bit more to explain that she couldn't make any sound whatsoever, not even a laugh. After that moment, though, she looked up at her familiar, expression daring him to respond to the accusation. It was something she wondered sometimes too. Over-protective steak aside.
Vire bristled, chirping a protest. "I do not mind her having friends! But I do not approve of her wandering up to strangers like yourself. It's dangerous!" He spoke quickly, wings a blur at his sides. "You could be dangerous." Vire glowered at him. "Are you dangerous?"
