Hi! Hello! Welcome! I'm Yushika and very new to Matope, so forgive me if I make a lot of mistakes! This thread is where you can offer breeding partners, mate plots, or just any plot! I'm open to mostly everything, ranging from just us plotting for our characters to make babies and walk off, or have an intricate plot to bond our characters forever! Whatever it is, I'm game and this in the place to offer it.
I also want to say thank you to Araucana for letting me use her plot journal for inspiration and as a guide for mine!  Please understand I'm brand new to Matope, so I don't quite understand everything and will need some guidance.
I am very open to flings, but I also am super interested in mating my characters! If a character of mine finds a mate, rest assured I'll more likely than not go through all my breedings before having my kin settle down forever with their mate.
I really would love to discuss how our characters raise the kids, or how they don't! Just an idea of who does what and if the kids even have parents who are sticking around would be great.
As a hint, I love creepy character and glow. You can't go wrong offering those to me~

xxx You can throw our pair into any breeding you'd like if the pair is marked as ready for breeding! If the pair is marked as in CC/actively trying for then I'm currently trying to get us babies! If the pair is marked not ready then that means I'm not ready for that pair to breed yet and I'd like to be contacted before you try to breed them. Brief About: Maybe Never is a sweet but kind guy who typically doesn't express himself verbally or with facial expressions. He is physically affectionate and has a strange issue where he feels like he's missing something in his life. He constantly feels like there's a hole in his heart, and this causes him great depression at times, resulting in him becoming needy.
As a Father: Should he breed, Maybe Never would stick around for his kids, even if the other parent didn't. He'd raise them to the best of his ability and attempt to hide his melancholic tendencies from them. He'd probably fail time to time, sadly, but he'd do his best. I do see him growing increasingly sad over the fact that his kids aren't what fills that emptiness in his heart, though.
Breeding Partners: Frozen Sweet, Second Star to the Right

What He Wants He's unsure! He knows he wants someone to hold him when he's fighting a spell of depression, but he's scared he'd disappoint whoever mated with him. He's more physically attracted to does who are light in color and dainty.
What I Want I really would like him to find a lifemate, after his breeding with Frozen Pop. I'm unsure what I'd like for him looks wise, so throw offers!
Notes Maybe Never might be planning to have a lifemate with someone Chrys owns in the future! So right now I'd like to stick to non-lifemate plots~- - - - - - - - - - - Beast

Brief About: Beast is a quiet male who rarely speaks and only does when absolutely needed. He comes off cruel and uncaring, and in a way he is. He doesn't seem to possess the ability to emotionally care about anyone but himself, or even anything. Perhaps the "right" kin could change that, or perhaps he just isn't capable of feeling for others. He is aware that he has a natural responsibility to help further his species, so sometimes he'll spend a night with a female, only to leave in the morning. He has no instinct to protect the weak or young, and often won't really remember a kin unless they've done something to benefit him. While he is incredibly patient (mostly because it's hard to stir any emotion within him), once he's irritated or provoked he'll use his hooves and teeth to inflict injury.
As a Father: Beast would be a horrible father, sadly. He only breeds because he has heard somewhere along the line that the meaning of life is to create more life. Sometimes, he'll actually find the female amusing enough to entertain the idea of procreation, but that's it. He'll never stay past that night, and if his kids seek him he'll just wander off once more. He has absolutely no desire to raise children and will abandon them if the mother ever tries to push them on him.

What He Wants For everyone to leave him alone.
What I Want Any species is okay! I would like darker colors with bright markings, like his? But really I'm bad at this pairing thing so just throw offers!

Edits: Edited tail, removed back spines, cloven hooves, extra leg fluff, and edited mouth.
Throwbacks: Piercing Gaze, Cattail, Fire Made Flesh, Speak Not
Brief About: Comes off cold and rude during first meetings. She needs time to warm up and expose that she can be a loyal and caring lady. She cannot stand those who bully the weak and while she's fairly petite she will throw herself into a fight and get her butt beat just to protect someone. She stutters if she speaks too long, so she often tries to stick to blunt and short sentences to avoid the major embarrassment it causes her. She does get excited very easy and tends to ramble when she does, which often causes her stuttering, to her horror.
As a Mother: Now that she's had children, Ice Strike would be delighted in another brood of kids! Most likely she'll ask if the other wants to raise them with her, and if they say no or are ill-fit to raise a child she'll take them away. Ideally, she would want the other parent to be present, since she strongly believes kids should know their parents. She comes off vaguely distant time to time, but she will greatly love her kids.

What She Wants She dreams of having a big mate who can protect her, but she honestly would love anyone as long as they were kind to her and others. She's into dark colored males, especially those with scrapes and cuts. Bad boys are her thing.
What I Want I desperately want to find her a lifemate after her breeding with Infinity. She's just that kind of lady. For physical appearance and breedings, I could see her meshing so nicely with a creepy colored character, or someone who adds a bit of color to her.

Brief About: Tweet is a flighty creature, much like her father! She has the attention span of a squirrel, and while she truly means well and is honestly a sweet and joyful lass, she tends to abruptly just wander off and ditch company. She's talkative, active, and very enthusiastic about experiencing the most out of life. While she mostly trails after her mother despite the many times Ice Strike has practically begged her to go on her own journey, she is prone to abandoning her mother time to time and causing general mischief. She's always up for trying something new, especially if it's dangerous!
As a Mother: Tweet will, honestly, abandon the kids. It isn't out of malice or not wanting them, it's just how her brain works. She needs to keep moving and experiencing things, and while she'll initially be super excited to have kids, she eventually will spot something exciting in the distance and up and leave. Hopefully, her breeding partner will raise the kids. She'll probably stop by time to time for visits when she remembers, but don't expect her to win mother of the year award. When she is present she'll be goofy and probably pretty bad at discipline. She just wants to have fun!

What She Wants Someone with bright colors or a fun personality! She loves loves loves meeting new folk, and probably won't be opposed to flirtations in the night~ She just wants to enjoy life!
What I Want Interesting mixes with her? I might be a tad picky since she's very special to me and she has a plot with One Grey Night to become future lifemates, so any flings would need to be discussed about how they work in her plot! Anyone with glow or tail edits is LOVED!

Wasn't to sure you knew, but Ice also has extra leg floof and cloven hooves edits. For Maybe Never... perhaps Air Glow? I would also offer Frozen Sweet, but she might mess with his head

Sweet is a major flirt and very, very touchy-feely (If she was human she would drape over someone like all the time, whenever they knew her or not) and well not mate material but she likes flings. She is really into flings.

Stonehoof is ...probably the opposite of what Maybe Never wants. She's not a fan of wallowing and is more likely to try to shouldercheck him out of a down mood than let him mope, but she's solid and reliable, and if she likes you, there's no changing her mind. Edge, on the other hand, likes to play and adventure and do things that will, one day, probably get her in trouble. She can be a little too light-hearted sometimes and seem to take nothing seriously, but she knows how to act like a grown up, if she has to.

Sure it might leave him a bit.... confused as to how it happened and a bit upset when he realizes that he had kids in a fling, but he'd love the children and he'd super love the touchy-feely from Frozen Sweet. Hell, once she left he'd probably still be hung up on her for a little, which could be fun to have him have to work through his feelings and get over it!

Yushika Oooo, Edge looks fun, and sounds fun! Would this just be a 'whoops we had kids welp', thing? Or a more serious lifemate idea? EITHER IS FINE! Well. She'd deliberately have babies. She's just not likely to settle into a lifemate role. She'd be happy to have babies all over the swamp and the plains and wherever else, but she needs to be able to go romping off when the mood strikes her. She could/can visit all of them! And she'll come back and be affectionate and all. She's just not a sedentary sort.
