The tub of water was big enough for more than one person to use as a time. Next to sat something that passed for soap, and a few small, thin towels. It had been set up for the sole purpose of cleaning- well. For helping those who were cleaning up get cleaned up. And that was what Sherry was doing. Scrubbing down her hands, trying to get the muck and grime off of them.

After touching that... that THING, Jake desperately wanted to wash his hands. Why was that even lying there? Surely knights were not stripping and running about... pantsless. Oh god, just the thought horrified him.
He spotted a familiar knight and approached her, wondering what she was... oh.
Had she been cleaning up stuff in the courtyard too?
He scratched his head, forgetting he had just... touched something-which-should-not-be-mentioned, and after debating whether he should talk to her or not, he sighed.
"... Hey."

She had known someone was there, she'd heard footsteps. Embarrassingly, she still jumped when whoever it was spoke to her.
"Oh, Um," she said, turning and trying to act like she hadn't been startled. "Oh. Jake, hi." She gave him a small smile, then turned to dunk her hands again. A final rinse. "I'm glad to see you made it through... all of that." She was, genuinely glad to see him alive and well. "I hope you are well?"

Jake watched as she washed his hands, and realized he probably should be doing the same thing before he...
... he already touched himself, didn't he?
"Um, I... I guess."
He crouched down at the tub.
"Can I, uh, can I use this too."

"Oh, um, yes," Sherry said, stepping to the side. "I'm almost finished myself." With that, she leaned over to splash water on her face.
"Been cleaning?" The question came as she tried to rub the dirt off her face.
