This one was annoying. It kept pecking at her, the large beak snipping and poking even though the shield was raised. Her left arm was starting to sustain bruises, though they weren't bad yet.
The next time the beast tried to peck at her, Alexandra bashed the peony and lock right into the oncoming bill.
