Harmonia coughed a bit in the back alley as the youma turned to dust practically in her face. It hadn't been an easy fight but she had managed on her own this time and didn't require the aid of her instructor. Mind, there was a time or two the youma had gotten the better of her, the fruit of that labor in the form of two cuts on her right arm from it's rather nasty scythe-like appendages. None-the-less though it had been a victory and one she was rather proud of! She felt like she was actually starting to get the hang of this now. Well, at least having a bit more confidence. That was in thanks to her two teachers Dennis, who was probably holed up at the Library and her current teacher. Spinning around Harmonia turned to face Chaonis with a wide smile. "I did it on my own this time!" She spoke gleefully as she patted away the dusty remains of the youma that had managed to cling to her. Practically bouncing she moved closer to the Eternal senshi. "So, what notes do you have for me?" She laughed. "I am sure there's something!" Despite the fact she didn't need Chaonis's help physically, Harmonia still knew that she had a lot to learn. After all, the battle had taken quite a while and Chaonis had kept shouting things to her to help her at points.

Chaonis was standing with his hands on his hips, looking triumphant and happy. He was pleased with her effort, and the fact that he had not needed to step in, despite how vicious the youma had looked. It was pretty good, all told! Of course, he also took that as a sign that his teaching was pretty good, too.
Because clearly it was.
"That was pretty good. You managed to not get killed, and your arm is probably not going to fall off. Those cuts aren't too bad, right?" He hadn't actually looked at them, and he moved forward to inspect them just in case. It was never fun, anyway, to get youma dust in a wound, anyway.
They looked okay, though, and he felt a small, secret moment of relief.
"Well," he said, grinning, "you're still a bit sloppy with the movements. You could have avoided those hits, but all in all you've made a lot of progress. You're not cheating, are you? I'm going to test for steroids if I have to."

"Oh no, they're fine." She said but didn't begrudge the senshi's need to inspect the minor wounds himself and stood patiently under his gaze. Since having Chaonis as a teacher Harmonia found her awkwardness around him had faded. Maybe it was the fact she was with him more or simply having him yell directions at her in the middle of the fight had that eased her young girl skittishness around the good looking older senshi. Either way she was more comfortable. Laughing she shook her head, curls bouncing with the motion. "No, I am not cheating. I think I am just getting a bit more comfortable with fighting. Things still aren't easy, but it's not as scarey as it was." It seemed that fear that had been ground into her since her near death experience was slowly beginning to fade away with all of the positive reinforcement she had been getting lately. Glancing down the alleyway to the dimly lit street ahead of them Harmonia sighed as her mind drifted slightly. "Ya know, this whole war thing is just so strange." She glanced back at Chaonis. "I've found myself wishing I could just travel to some other world that was more peaceful and serene. Somewhere that was mine." Realizing what she was saying she giggled. "OK, I'll admit that was a strange thing to say." She shrugged her shoulder. "But, it's funny how before I became a senshi I wanted this excitement and now I just want quiet." "Anyway, if you don't mind a partner tonight, mind if I tag along with you on patrol?"

Chaonis grinned at her, clapping her on the shoulder and nodding his head in approval. He liked being a teacher, and realized that it felt pretty good to actually see someone learning, and be a part of their process. When he was younger and just starting out, he did everything he could to avoid investing in others, or becoming attached.
Now, though, he was seeing how vital it was to help each other and maintain those ties, and to share what he learned to ensure others could continue as long as he had. If he could help someone, it was a good thing.
God, he was hanging out with his dad way too much.
"Travel to some other world? You do know you have a homeworld, right? Like. We, as senshi, can actually, literally, travel through space and go to the thing we're named for. I've visited Chaonis a few times but haven't explored much. It's mostly just a big dustball, but maybe there is something there. You could go visit yours some time, too."
He was not the expert on space travel, but he did know enough to share. He had visited other worlds, too, with some of his other friends, and saw how different they all could be. He did not seem to mind having company, nodding his head and walking away, indicating she should follow him as he talked.
"It's actually pretty neat, when you think about it. I've seen some crazy stuff on other people's homeworlds. More interesting than mine, anyway."

Harmonia looked at Chaonis in complete surprise. "Wow! Really?!" She was practically bursting with excitement at the idea of being able to visit another world. MY homeworld! It's just so neat! I never thought that other worlds actually existed!Noting that Chaonis was moving and heading off to patrol Harmonia scampered after him and hurried to walk beside him. "Wait...so does this mean we're not from Earth or something? I mean...I am pretty sure I was born here." Now that was an interesting thought. "So I could visit Chaonis and you could visit Harmonia? That's really neat! I bet it's a lot of fun to visit other people's homeworlds too." "And how do we actually go to our homeworld and travel in space? I mean, I guess we use magic, but wouldn't that be like...really tiring or something? I'd think it would take a lot of effort. " Realizing that she was just rattling off questions she stopped talking abruptly and ducked her head in apology. "Eh, sorry. When I get excited I kind of just don't stop talking sometimes."

"Uh, I mean. Technically I guess we're not? Or. Senshi aren't. Originally, but now we are? That's half of what the negaverse whines about whenever they try to attack us. That we're here on their planet and we shouldn't be, since we have our own. But there's nothing on our homeworlds since no one has been alive on them for like a thousand years, and this is just as much our world as those are, right? I mean I know I live here, and if I had a choice, I'd want to continue living on earth rather than the dustball that is Chaonis."
But then, he had never spent too much time exploring his. There were actually neat things there, and he had seen a couple interesting things that needed more investigating, but he just... had a lot of other things going on.
"But yeah, if you wanted, I could take you to my homeworld, which is actually like a comet and not a planet as far as I know, and you could take me to yours when you figure it out."
He was not going to be there for her first trip: he sometimes wondered if the magic could go wrong if someone did not know what they were doing, and they would end up like something from the Fly on the other end of the journey.
"It does tire you out though, so you can't really go all the time. And I think it takes a little more energy to take someone, but really I haven't been in so long I can't even remember. But it's doable, and lots of senshi like to go out to their homeworlds and mess around."

"So there's nothing left on your homeworld?" That idea seemed odd. Why bother visiting if there was nothing there to really see? The idea of going into space to see a world that she was attached too was a completely fascinating thing. It's SPACE after all. But if there was nothing to really gain from it and it was so tiring, why did the senshi go? There had to be more to it, didn't there? Either way, while it did put a slight damper on her enthusiasm for the idea, it certainly was not going to deter her from wanting to go. "Whoa...I can go to yours and you can go to mine? That's really neat! I'd love to see Chaonis. That is, if you don't mind taking me and all. Dust ball or not it still has to be really neat! So is your homeworld just speeding through space since it's like a comet?" To tell the truth, as disappointed as she was at the idea of finding a desolate homeworld, Harmonia wanted to go. Like, now. Of course she was nervous not -really- knowing how to get herself there but if Chaonis was willing to take her to his she'd be able to figure it out, she was sure! Plus, maybe her phone had more info on it. Mental note to self. Read over the info on the phone some more.

"Well, I think most of it is under ground. I found a little evidence for that but. I mean. I dunno. I haven't really looked around much in a while."
It had probably been over a year since the last time he went to his homeworld, in fact. The footprints he had left in the dusty ground might not even be there any more. But then again, it was a rock flying through space and did not exactly have wind to blow anything away.
"But I mean, if you're interested in looking at nothing, then yeah, you can go to Chaonis any time. I'll drag you out there. I think my past versions or whatever it is used to travel around. I've been to other planets and gotten memories from them, like I have at my homeworld. So who knows. Maybe I've already been to yours."
Had he mentioned the whole memory thing before? He was sure she would ask about it if she caught the word and did not get what he was talking about all of a sudden. And maybe some people did not even get memories or visions of the past like he and his friends had.
"I bet there are other folks out there that know more about space than I do. I know some of my friends go to their homeworlds a lot more than I have. Just ask around, and other senshi will tell you all about it. Hell, even Knights kinda do the same thing, though a little different."

"Underground?" Her eyebrows rose up at that thought. "That's neat! I bet there's all kinds of hidden things there." Now she was beginning to wonder why Chaonis didn't seem all that interested in his homeworld. It sounded to her like it could be a great adventure! "Oh definitely yes! We'll have to visit for sure! Maybe I can help you find some more things there." Harmonia's enthusiasm was definitely showing how young and child-like she still really was as she practically bounced on her toes. Then her mind got caught up on something. "Wait...past versions? What do you mean by that?" "And Knight have homeworlds too?" My goodness there was so much!

"Maybe," Chaonis said, but he had never been much for thoughts of space. Maybe if he actually visited more, he would find more reason to go. It had always been hard for him to care about it, when he was younger and newer to the whole Senshi thing.
Now it actually meant something to him, and maybe his homeworld would, too.
"Uh. Well. I guess for some senshi, I dunno if it's for all of us but it might be, we're just the descendents or new versions of the old senshi with our name. So we get the memories they had when they were around, I guess? I'm not too sure how it works. But I definitely have memories of former Chaonis, and all the things he was up to. I mean, not a lot, since I haven't explored much, but some. And my friend said she had a memory with him in it when I was over on her planet, so I guess we can be connected without even knowing it, you know? It's all very... weird."
He knew Camelot was more into this kind of thing than him, and that was the only real reason he know so much. A few of his friends, like Grus and Asclepius, had been to their wonders with him, and that had been very interesting, too. Maybe he would ask his dad to take him to his wonder some day, though he knew that would open a whole can of worms about family bonding that he was not sure he wanted to get involved in.

"You mean like reincarnation?" She puzzled over that. She wasn't an overly religious person. In fact her family wasn't really religious at all so the idea of reincarnation had never been something she had thought about in great lengths but she supposed it could be possible. From what she had been told this war between the Negaverse and the White Moon had been going on for a very long time. It was almost sad though. If it really was reincarnation then weren't they, in their own way, repeating history? That though was beginning to get far too deep for her. Not to mention she really didn't want to dwell on something like that. "So what did former Chaonis do?" She quirked an eyebrow curiously before realizing that it could be rude to ask something like that. She back peddled. "I mean, if you don't mind telling me that is." Tact, Harmonia. You need to learn that at some point.

Chaonis looked puzzled, then shrugged. He had never really thought about what it meant to be the same Chaonis as in the past, or even if that was what it really did mean. He generally just assumed he got the memories because he shared the name, and not that they were that directly connected. But who knew?
Maybe she was on to something with her guess, more than he was.
"Uh. He was some kind of worker-for-hire, as far as I know. They all were. They went around and did labor for other planets, for pay or for stuff they needed. Chaonis was sort of the leader, and he made the colony on this asteroid for people that didn't really fit in anywhere else. Criminals and things like that, but they weren't, uh. Criminals when they lived there. They were trying to live a legit life. Anyway, that's what I've seen so far, I'm not sure what else there is, or what the original Chaonis was like."
He got the feeling that there was more to it than what he had seen. There was a dark sensation he got when he thought about those memories, like a secret he had forgotten, because it was not something he had ever wanted to know. It was strange, and maybe that played in to him not wanting to go back to his homeworld.
It was easier to just not know anything, then find out something bad and have to deal with it.

"huh..." She crossed her arms as her mind began picturing the Chaonis of today doing labor and living underground on a dusty planet. It was a strange sight in her minds eye. It certainly wasn't something she had ever really expected. But then again, maybe her past self did stuff that was strange to her as well? I need to get to my planet and hopefully find out!There was that child-like enthusiasm again. The excited bubble was swelling inside of her. She began to wonder how soon she could make the attempt to go to Harmonia. Maybe tonight? Surely it wasn't so late that she couldn't go. Wait... "So...this might be a strange question, but when you go to your planet I guess you're gone from Earth for however long you're there, right? Like...when you return you don't just return at the same spot and exact time that you left? I mean. That would be cool but....weird." Oh, Those fantasy novels she read certainly made her think of the strangest things sometimes. But, it was a legit question, right? Senshi had so many strange magics, surely something like that might be possible?

"I think the time moves the same way, yeah. I've gone for a couple hours before, but never too much longer than that. Never really timed it, but I think it's the same."
He had never really thought about that before. He did know that time seemed to move the same for Wonders, as Camelot would go to his Wonder for ages and take forever to come back. Was it the same, though, or was Camelot spending more, or less, time in Camelot and just not noticing?
Maybe Chaonis would have to look at a clock the next time he went to his planet, just to be sure.
"I guess you'll have to check that part out for yourself, when you go. Like I said, I don't have all the facts, and the best way to do it is to just visit the place yourself. I can't tell you what your planet is like, anyway, you know? Maybe everything is different for you. Just go check it out, I guess. Though I'd be interested in hearing about it after, if it's not a boring story."

"Good to know. I'll have to make sure I go when my parents won't notice me missing then." Her words were more as a note to herself than anything else. Being a 14 year old and trying to save the world was so problematic when you had to hide the who endeavor from your parents. Harmonia had no doubts that her parents would make sure she never saw the light of day again if they found out about her night life. "I hope it's not boring." She smiled. "I mean, at least I now know that I might see nothing but I might see something really interesting. I mean, I'll be in space and all so either way -that- won't be boring!" With a content sigh Harmonia glanced up at the brightening morning sky. The sun hadn't quite peaked over the horizon but the pale colors were pretty as they slowly painted the sky. It was actually really nice to see it for a change. Wait!"Oh no!" A slight panic began to set into her. "I have to get home. If my parents find me gone I'll be in so much trouble!" She practically ran past Chaonis before stopping and turning back around. "Thank you for helping me tonight and teaching me about planets and all! I'll make sure to tell you all about my planet when I can." She spoke quickly and didn't waste anytime in hurrying off. As she darted across town, Harmonia felt bad for having to leave Chaonis like that but knew if she didn't get herself home and in her room soon she'd be grounded for the rest of her teenage years!
