It had been a couple of nights since she'd henshined up for the first time in years and she'd been itching to get back out on patrol. Busy trying to get her life back in order, find something to do with herself (outside of being a senshi) now that she had given up her major there just hadn't been time until tonight. Her parents were out and the house was empty. She couldn't stand it. So here she was, up on the rooftops, looking out across the city as she took a breather. She'd run all the way to this spot, when her body had decided that maybe it was time for a break. Who was she to go against what her body was telling her? Smiling to herself, she pushed back a bit of hair before gloved fingers toyed with an earring. This was a good night to be out patrolling. She just had to hope there was no one lurking around waiting to spoil the evening.

Perhaps thankfully for Lacrimosa, Sailor Warhol had no plans on spoiling the evening of another senshi. Perhaps unfortunately, Warhol was just the teensiest bit edgy, so feeling the aura of another basic senshi (who she'd never seen before; this was part of her patrol route, and even if she never interacted with others, she still knew their auras!) had her on alert - but she couldn't be rude, it just wouldn't be right! A few rooftops away from the mysterious Senshi in pink (...it really was a pretty outfit, Warhol thought, but she wasn't jealous - she liked having shorts), and Sailor Warhol called out - "are you new? I haven't seen you around before..." Not that Warhol herself had seen many other Senshi, but she didn't want to give off the image of being inexperienced.

Now that she'd given her body a moment to rest it was time to stretch! Arms up she leaned backwards a moment before she started at the sound of a voice. It was loud enough to hear but obviously a distance away. Brown eyes blinked before searching out the owner of the voice. "I'm not exactly new, no!" she called back, giving a friendly wave. Then, after a moment's hesitation, she went ahead and moved closer. If nothing else so they wouldn't have to keep calling out to one another. It would probably be safer that way. "Though I suppose I might as well be when I think about it."

"What do you mean?" Warhol queried, eyes wide - sure, okay, yes, she'd met Cybele before who was older: but Lacrimosa was far more so. It was the way she carried herself, maybe. It might also have been the fact she'd met Cybele in a park in the middle of the day, and not on the rooftops past sunset: Warhol wasn't sure. "Um - I guess we should introduce ourselves, right? I'm Sailor Warhol. I've been doing this since December. And you?" Mostly she stood her ground, waiting for Lacrimosa to come closer, and extended a gloved hand in greeting to shake.

She'd admit she was running off of what she used to do back when she attended Crystal Academy. Night patrols had been the best, and easiest, way to patrol back then. Once she was close enough she took the extended hand and gently shook it in greeting. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Warhol. I'm Sailor Lacrimosa." A friendly smile that kind of faltered as she stopped to think about exactly how long she'd been a senshi. "I've been doing this... for about six years..."

"...Six years?" Warhol frowned, mentally counting through the events and entirely missing the break in Lacrimosa's smile. "So, um...you were doing this during the coma epidemic, right...? Was that a Senshi thing?" It had just hit her then, of course, but she'd never met anyone who'd been doing this for so long -- as far as Warhol knew, the whole powered 'gang war' was fairly recent. Then again, she never paid attention to the news; the only reason she'd known of the comas was both how badly it had ruined the city's scheduling and the fact she was a narcoleptic herself. "Um...have things changed a lot since you started? Like I said, I'm pretty new, I haven't really met a lot of people...so I like to hear about stuff I wasn't around for, if I can."

Coma epidemic? Her brows furrowed together. She remembered something about that, but whether it was a Senshi thing or not she couldn't answer at all. "That was before me, I think? I remember the rash of nightmares but that's the only thing I remember." She'd actually become a Senshi not long after the coma epidemic. Which hadn't happened too long after the "organ ring incident". She wondered if she could find out if that's what Barren Pines actually was. But did she really need to be reopening that whole can of worms? "I couldn't tell you if much has changed or not. In all honesty I didn't really stay too into the whole Senshi thing for long. I was struggling with a lot and eventually just stopped transforming all together for roughly three years." Now Lacrimosa looked a little embarrassed, wondering if the other girl would look down on her for such a thing. Would other Senshi do the same if she continued to talk about that? "Being a Senshi isn't an easy thing."

"...oh." Warhol's face fell, more out of disappointment than sadness, and stayed there like Lacrimosa had just told an incredibly insensitive joke. "Sorry, I just thought, since you've been doing it for a while...I'm narcoleptic, so um...I always wondered why nothing happened to me during it." "Three years, though...? That's a really long time." If nothing else, Warhol didn't look disappointed or scornful: merely concerned. "I guess you were dealing with a lot...I'm not, not really. I'm just a freshman." She grinned sheepishly, making direct eye contact with the ground. "And school's almost out for the year, so I've been patrolling the Meadowview area a lot." "I know it's not easy..I've had people try to kill me. But if we don't protect civilians, who will? We've got superpowers for a reason, right? Helping people. Just not powering up...seems like it could get a lot of people hurt."

"I don't have nearly enough experience to have any sort of answer for that. And I wish I did." She felt a little bad that she wasn't nearly as well versed in all of this as she had been. "I'm sorry." If only she had been able to better deal with everything back then. "You're a wonderful person, do you know that?" She was smiling now, proud of the woman before her. "I wish I had been able to realize that back then, to better accept this chance given to me. But I know what my purpose is now and I want to make up for my failings then." No more innocents would die because of her uselessness. "You're doing a wonderful job." A pause and a slightly embarrassed look. She was probably saying things she shouldn't. "If you don't mind company, I would love to join you on patrol tonight."

"I-I'm not wonderful or anything, I'm just doing my job," Warhol stammered, flushing in embarrassment from the compliments. "But, um, of course we can patrol together...I can't be out too late, though, okay? But I can show you my route!" She turned, taking a light, bouncing step, and smiled at Lacrimosa all cherubic and chubby-cheeked. "We can talk about patrolling and stuff on the walk, if that sounds good...? There's not a lot of youma that show up around here." And with that, Sailor Warhol extended her hand to the older Senshi to take, smiling expectantly. Oh boy oh boy oh boy, she could teach someone things, this was going to be the best!

"That sounds amazing, thank you~" Taking the hand offered to her, Lacrimosa almost felt like crying a little. This darling little young Senshi was everything she had hoped to have been back then. And it gave her hope about the younger Senshi that had come to be in her absence. Especially if they were willing to help some one their senior who should know better then them. "That sounds absolutely perfect to me."
