Chel searched the castle up and down for the tiny one she'd lost in the snow. Now Chel didn't believe in love at first site, but she did believe in "I wanted to bone that" and that was definitely a powerful feeling too.
(That and Chel very much wanted to make sure she was okay. It was frightening to lose someone even if you didn't know them well).
It wasn't until she found the girl in the makeshift infirmary that she let out a long breath. Abbi didn't look dead, and hopefully she would stay that away. Rather smoothly she approached the tiny one and offered a flower VERY smoothly.
(Where did she get that flower? Don't question these things!)
"Glad to see the lady made it out."

Abbi was very definitely not dead. She was mostly well, all things considered. The portly fellow that had woken her up had been very obliging in his explanation of what had happened to her, to the point that even if she'd had any questions he'd already answered all of them. He had advised her to rest a little bit more before she went back out into the fray of things. This was not exactly what Abbi had had in mind, but all bandaged up like this she really didn't have much choice.
To have company seemed too good to be true, but here Lady Chel was, offering a flower to the girl. An "oh!" left her and she went a bit pink, though she took the flower happily and kept her gaze focused on that. It wasn't that Abbi believed in love in first sight, or even wanting to bone someone at first sight, it was simply that she'd never had someone dote on her like this. She couldn't explain why, she just knew everything felt new around Chel, but she kind of liked it. "Yes, well, I would not be a very good knight if a simple avalanche was my undoing." It almost had been, so maybe she ought not to speak so candidly. "Thank you for the flower. Its lovely..." There was probably more she could say to foster conversation, but she was going a bit shy and thus said nothing else.

Chel leaned in very closely for a moment.
"You good enough to be picked up or s'at gonna hurt you?"

The pink in her face turns to red, but Abbi does not move away.
"I can be moved... I just have to rest a little bit longer. But being carried... That's fine." So maybe it would hurt some, she sure as heck wasn't going to let that get in the way of being carried around by the lovely Lady Chel!!

Chel grinned something lecherous and reached down, picking Abbi up gruffly and instead of princess carrying, throwing her over her shoulder. Chel was gentle, but she'd never been very chivalrous.
"Some fresh air oughta help the healin' right?" she said with a grin. "I wanna be friends," she added bluntly. More than friends really, but Chel knew better than to scare Abbi off with immediate bedroom implications.

Everything was going really well and very nicely and then a mildly injured Abbi was thrown over someone's shoulder. Not only had she not been expecting that, but her ribs had been a little bruised from the tumble back to the castle, so when she doesn't immediately answer Chel it isn't from nerves. But even trying to say anything will surely only come out in a pitiful squeak, so the girl stays quiet and doesn't wiggle or squirm even though she really wants to.
Her hands bunch in whatever cloth she can find on the woman's back, finally giving in and trying to worm a bit, just so a corner of armor would stop poking her. "I agree, on both accounts!" She finally ventured, her voice a little thinner than she preferred.

If Abbi paid attention she might notice Chel seize up for a single moment as the cloth around her back is tightened. But it passes and she carries on just the same.
"You okay up there? You sound like you ain't so good. You lie to me back there?" She also moved her hand to sit on Abbi's behind; not to touch it (although that was nice too), but to keep her skirt down for any onlookers.

Given a normal situation Abbi very well would have caught the fact that Chel went a little stiff, but what with the aching in her torso she was a bit distracted and missed it. A little laugh wheezes out of the girl and she shakes her head, forgetting that the woman might not see the motion. "Peachy!" She squeaks, not wanting to try for anything else. Especially not when a hand is placed over what she knows is her skirt, but cannot help thinking how high up on her thighs the hand has chosen to go.

Chel rolled her eyes and pulled Abbi forward, carrying her in between her arms and balancing the entirety of Abbi's weight on her upper arms.
"That better, princess bad-at-lying?"

"I am sorry." She offered after she'd gained her breath, able to inhale better now that her ribs were free of any pointy bits. "And I was not really lying... Mostly... Bending the truth as to not inconvenience you!" Abbi tries a cheeky smile before she pointed to the ground. "I can walk the rest of the way... If you would prefer." That whole not-wanting-to-inconvience and all. "Since you are being so kind as to keep me company."

"I would not prefer," Chel countered, "To let a pretty lady like you out of my arms." There was an ease about which Chel said these words, easily enchanting and commonly spoken. She wasn't sure where it had come from, but for Abbi it might have hinted at the common wench.
Chel took Abbi out to a nice tree which sat outside the sparring rings in the courtyard. Certainly not the most romantic of places, but one didn't get to be choosy in Camelot. "This look like a good place for a sit?"

Another laugh leaves her, this one full and not hampered by armor. There is something very charming in how open and pointed Chel is in her words, even if they are embarrassing in a way. But Abbi cannot bring herself to really get worked up about it, not when they've got a hard fight ahead of them and any sort of enjoyment is better relished without worry.
"This tree looks very shady..." That is supposed to be a joke for Abbi gives Chel a goofy grin before she nods. "I think this looks perfect."

Chel let Abbi very poignantly slide down her side, sparing her no part of the somewhat overt motion. With a crooked grin she finally sat Abbi down and took a seat next to her.
From her own pants she produced some of the rolls she'd taken from the banquet hall earlier. They were a little squished, but when one lived in Camelot where food was sparse, one didn't complain. Chel offered the pants-biscuits to Abbi as though this were a normal motion.
Although she didn't remember, Chel had been a vagabond since she was 14; proper manners and etiquette were not of her concern. "So what is a lady doing here with a bunch of knights?" she asked idly.

Laughing seems a good response to being purposefully pressed against another, but what leaves Abbi is more of a giggle, softer and gentler than anything she's voiced so far. The ground is not as nice, but its also stable and the girl appreciates not moving for a bit. She goes about arranging her skirt, adjusting her long, long braid off the ground, tucking a strand of hair behind one ear. Fidgety movements that pause when she notices Chel is taking bread... From her pants.
There is no point in making fun about it, mostly because the woman doesn't seem the type to ever find her actions less than exactly what she means them to be, so Abbi takes the biscuit with a smile and polite nod. If she looks highly amused it is only because she is, but not in a way that is intended in any sort of mean spirit. She takes a bite of the thing and turns to look at Chel, passing a hand over her mouth quickly and swallowing before she speaks. "You know as well as I that the reason is because we are needed." That's a bit more serious than she intends and she tilts her head from side to side a moment later. "I... I am not sure precisely why I am here other than I ran here and somehow made it. I am able bodied and determined, so why not fight?" That was meant to be conversational, but Abbi cannot remember much about her life to turn their talk to other topics. Instead she focuses on the bread and hopes her answer has not been too somber in a relaxing moment.
