The Sewers of Kirigakure, a place most foul smelling. Be wary of rats, sewage entering your mouth and thieves!

Karuga Hari "Stop ignoring your big sister!" | Anbu Captain | Kirigakure | Karuga of the Mist | 465/465 | Hari | Medical Specialization | Katon | Doton | Silently creeping forward through the sewer, Karu waded through the foul water in front of the Genin that was following her. She kept her ears alert for any noise the genin didn't make, and at all times, she had a kunai at the ready in her right hand, shuriken in her left.
Techniques Used: Passives: Sand Manipulation Rank X Description: Attribute This control allows the user to manipulate sand as though it were flowing in the wind. Not only can it take any form the user desires, but it can also be levitated or shifted around as if it were wind. It should be noted that one can only manipulate sand they themselves have made, and it must be done while holding a single handsign. Additionally, sand that is freely manipulated is not very solid, and can be dispersed as if it were natural sand making it a poor choice for attacking with.

Shuriken hovered around Aian, looping around one another under the Manipulation Jutsu's effects. Two clones still trailed behind, ready to erupt into genjutsu. Both were a little dull witted, much like Aian, one playing air drums absentmindedly, the other bobbing his head to the imaginary beat of the air drums. Aian, whom was apparently taking this seriously, maintained a still expression of concentration and followed nearly twenty feet behind Karuga. His dark clothing, along with the clones dark clothing, allowed them to have some stealth in the murky depths of the Kiri sewer. He'd rather not disturb her and remained as back-up. Being an Anbu-Captain, she was an obvious superior, and this way, if any did slip past her, they wouldn't get too far.

Karuga Hari "Stop ignoring your big sister!" | Anbu Captain | Kirigakure | Karuga of the Mist | 465/465 | Hari | Medical Specialization | Katon | Doton | Ignoring the two clones, Karu continued wading through the filthy water before a sound slowly echoed towards them. She took the shuriken and threw it fast. It zipped into the darkness before going silent. She stopped for a few seconds before shouts emerged from the end of the tunnel. "INTRUDERS! GET INTO POSITION!" "Alright Aian, no mercy, go!" Karu said, not even waiting as she dashed forward, darting through the sewage quickly, quicker than Aian could as she went into the darkness.

ANBU were specifically chosen for their ideal general skill in all shinobi fields, which included kenjutsu, ninjutsu, genjutsu, those just naming some; Karuga fit the bill. Playing audience to her shuriken through, her smooth flick of her wrist as if it'd been done a thousand times before gave light to professionalism Aian needed, no, 'had' to achieve. It whistled *Wooom* through the tunnel, it's speed actually heard before an echoing *Slkk* as it found its mark. Alarms began to sound off as men shouted 'Intruders' through the murky, grime covered tunnel. Lights flickered down the tunnel, swaying back and forth, almost dancing. Karuga chased down her speed unmatched. Water sprinkles didn't spray under her trained footsteps; her only trace being her silhouette following the torches some kilometers away. To close the distance wouldn't be hard, not for her, but for Aian, that was another story. He was quite awe stricken by the reflexes of Karuga, whom sprung to action with simultanious synchronization as their spoken words.
Dumbfounded, Aian shook his head to regain himself and prepare for his own strategy. He clapped both hands together and nodded, his clones zipping past him, their feet splashing against the water to follow suit of Karuga, whom had already disappeared. Their genjutsu laced forms would prove beneficial, to some extent, by clouding their enemy in thick fog. If any shinobi were among them, it could be easily considered 'Hidden Mist' jutsu considering Aian and Karuga were native to Kirigakure. "Right...." He said forming the 'Ox' seal with both hands. Shuriken hovering around him began to spin, faster and faster, hissing into the tunnel. He didn't move, only spun them faster, maintaining velocity until, as mission stated, stragglers would slip between Karuga's deadly grasp; and here they came.
Torchs flickering through the splashing of their desperate retreat, bandits clawed through thick sewage water only to be greeted by the hissing shuriken. One noticed, his torch stopping while others were deaf through the sound of their own retreat. "Garma, get your a** moving before the b***h finds us!" One larger criminal snapped. Garma pressed his index finger to his lips as to hush and spoke out. "Shh, don't you hear that...." He replied, alarmed and suddenly afraid. His five comrades stopped in mid step, settling in the sewage to listen to hissing from down the tunnel. Little did they know their torches made them excellent targets for Aian's spinning shurikens, which only drew closer. "The hell is tha--"*Shhhlkk!* One shuriken zipped ahead to plunge into the larger criminals left pectoral. Such speed gave tremendous impact, the shuriken plunging nearly through one end and out the other. He cried aloud and fell into the sewage below, splashing wildly in agonizing pain.
"Two ANBU!?" Another nameless criminal stated in shock, his sunken, darkened eyes widened in shock. His long straightened hair which poured over his face in strangling bangs turned towards the dark tunneling. He froze in fear, listening to the hissing, and another came. He brought up both arms to protect his face found it was quite the opposite. *Slkkk* His thigh gave out and gave an involuntary jerk backward as his face dove ahead. The shuriken stabbed into his thigh, lodging itself deep into the bone and easily immobilizing him, much like his whimpering partner. Their assailant wasn't like his ANBU counterpart whom killed without hesitation but aimed to immobilizing them. "Screw you guys, I'm not standing--" Seven more shuriken zipped through the corridors, their loud hissing echoing through the enclosed waste lanes. Who remained standing found themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place as high spinning shuriken spun past them, knicking them. Simple knicks turned into severe laserations when blood spewed from their wounds. "Stop ******** with us!" Another shouted in distress.
Aian, whom grinned in triumph formed the snake hand seal, bringing the shuriken back, splashing blood again with more gashing wounds against the retreating bandits. To blatantly kill them wasn't his style, or not yet. His sensei told him stories about how you never forgot your first kill, looking them in the eyes while gasped their final breathes; Aian wouldn't witness that. These criminal scum would remain in the sewers, covered in filth and bleed away the remaining moments of their lives. Though he couldn't openly kill them, knowing they were buried in filth and bloo gave him some notion of comfort, albeit other shinobi wouldn't approve. It came to mind that perhaps visiting the soon to be deceased would be wise, to witness their death but deep down, the thought made his stomach cringed. He couldn't watch it, not yet, he just wasn't ready. Under that thought, pulled his shuriken back. Their deep seeded whimpers and sudden cry of agony echo when the shuriken plunged into two pulled from their bodies. Cruel as it was, it was assured they'd die down here. Rats already scurried to the scent of blood. Although difficult to see, little rodent silhouettes could be seen racing towards the scent. He cringed, looking away into the darkness. He'd rather not visualize what was to happen next. Wounded and bleeding, the sewage festering the wounds and now a starving swarm of rats racing towards their next meal. --------------------------- Aian took another corridor opposite to those wounded to cut the exit of any other potential retreating criminals but found none. Really, he didn't want to witness the grotesque scene of rats knawing away their flesh. He was positive those were the only retreating criminals as there was no more frantic splashing and hurried breath of retreat in the air. These enclosed spaces spoke volumns, volumns which could tell their own tale, typicall of horror and distress, or so it seemed today. Down the next exit, the main encampment seemed posted. Shawdy scaffolds were errected with even shadier ladders beside them. Rope bridges hung from the four seperate scaffolds which surrounded the circular room. It was assumed these rope bridges were in the midst of construction, though time wasn't their friend. It was their mistake to assume they could lay hidden beneath the very hidden village. What surprised Aian was they got so far, building these scaffolds without other shinobi detecting them.
"Sis!" Aian cupped his hands over his mouth and called out tot he Anbu, using 'Sis' as code name. He'd rather not get scorned for using her official name. *Thiip Thiip Thiip* He leaped from scaffold to scaffold, their structure rattling under the meager weight of little Aian. These obviously weren't stable, though he did come down rather hard regardless of weight. "Sis, I've cleared the passages." He said one level below her, looking up at her. Truly, he did appear the apprentice from this angle, a young lad looking up to his superior, their forms luminated by the dying flames of alarm torches. "The rats seem to be a bit of a frenzy and I don't want to stick around to find out what happens next." He threw his thumb over his shoulder and said, half joking with a chuckle in his tone. "We clear here?"
