The creature dropped heavily out of the sky with a screech, and Chaya ducked to avoid the wave of dust it kicked up as it landed. Its beak darted out, and he shouted with surprise and pain. "Hey!" He jumped back and fired an arrow into the thing's wing. "I'm okay! Be careful, it has a sharp beak!" Chaya skittered to the side and shot the bird-thing again. It was quick, and he didn't quite manage to dodge its retaliatory peck. Just as Chaya warned Hollandaise about the sharp beak, she was introduced to it in a rather painful way. She yelped and leapt back, trying to put some distance between them. Still running, she put an arrow to her bow and shot. Without pausing, she shot at the bird again. Instead of it's horrible beak, the bird slashed out with sharp talons.
