Jala shed a single tear. At last, her quest was almost complete. Just one more item, and she'd have the full set. Jala planted her hands on her hips, staring off into absolutely nowhere. Upon her shoulders she donned the shoulder pads of cat's eye. Over her torso, the tabard of the chimera. Behind her fluttered the mantle of the white lotus. Covering her hands were the gauntlets of the lion, and underneath, fit snugly were the leggings of Ophiuchus. Only one piece of armour was missing, and it would be the greater helmet of the birch tree that would adorn her head. Jala almost wished it were boots instead. Or maybe a belt? earrings? Or maybe a circlet, or tiara, or something LESS tacky than a helmet. Who heard of a king wearing a helmet? Kings wore crowns! What use did they have for a helmet?
Still, it was the only thing missing, and it wouldn't sit well with her to not have the complete set. This helmet had better be the prettiest thing ever. THE PRETTIEST.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 27 YOUR HP: 30/30

[ Step 1 - The Trek Forward ]
Alright, time to get this show on the road! She mounted her horse and began her journey, waving a tearful (though not really) farewell to Camelot. She would be back, fair castle, fair knights, mighty king. You will not miss her. She will return as soon as she retrieved all that was needed to be retrieved.
They probably literally wouldn't miss her because they had no idea who she was, but Jala liked to think the world revolved around her. It helped set the mood. The only thing she'd actually be revolving around was a cliff edge, as her fantasizing had nearly led to an early death.Quote: Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! [ Step 1 - The Trek Forward ]
Ahh, whoopsie daisy. Wouldn't want to fall to her demise there. She was MUCH too pretty to die. Way too pretty. At least too pretty to have her beautiful frame splattered across a cliff edge. Like really, that was extremely indelicate.
She maneuvered her horse away from the edge, but the effort she had expended in securing a better position had ripped a hole into her bag, causing a piece of bread to fall out. Luckily she caught sight of the hole in time to prevent more causalities, but... that poor bread.
Fare thee well, brave soul.Quote: Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 24 YOUR HP: 30/30

[ Step 2 - The Winding Forest ]
Ah, the forest. Such a relaxing place.~ Jala hummed happily as she rode her horse, glancing about here and there. Were there any elves dashing about in the trees? Maybe preparing to ambush lil' ol' her? At least, she was hoping for it. There was rarely any action anymore, and Jala wanted to FIGHT stuff, whether it be a 6-foot giant or 4-foot dwarf, elf, ANYTHING. SHE WAS BOREDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDd
And then she found food. Not... the kind of excitement she was thinking of but... it was something she supposed.

[ Step 3 - The Dwarven Mountains ]
Finding food was neat and all, but she needed action! Sure she wasn't going to die of starvation anytime soon, but she was going to die of boredom, like legit straight up and keel over and die. If she did she hoped someone would engrave a soliloquy of all her heroic deeds and how despite vanquishing many foes, her own arch nemesis was... lack of excitement. If something wasn't exciting, it wasn't worth doing! If life wasn't exciting, it wasn't worth living! Aside from wanting to look cute in new gear and stuff, she had chosen to embark on this quest because it would alleviate boredom, and add a bit of spice to her life.
However, it seemed the only sort of excitement she'd get right now was having her horse spooked by god knows what, tossing her off its back as it ran away.

[ Step 3 - The Mountain Summit ]
It had of course taken a bit longer, but finally, FINALLY she reached the top, and located what she came for. As well as more food. Ok well whatever. Food was good.
