It was another day to search for the king, after getting four pieces of artifact, she began to doubt if the King was really at that area. The Great Knights said it was a rough guess and maybe they were going to the wrong place all the time, yet, she can't exclude the possibility. Thus, she prepared herself for another journey. After a few times of questing, it was known to her that doing it alone would be the better for her. If she was injured, it would be her own business and won't be a burden for the others. "Soldier. Soldier! Listen to me, I say listen to me, Soldier." The black knight apprentice squished the horse face, and widened her eyes with a serious look, cheeks puffed. [ Step 1: The trek forwards ]"Soldierrrrr are you listening?" You can't be that naughty like last time. I'm very serious!" She yelled when they were on the mountain, the horse was walking with a slow speed, as if it was having a walk. Then it suddenly halted, throwing Shu onto the ground. "Ah....it hurts. Soldier, what're you do-" She was rubbing her butt while a beast assaulted her. "Ugh, not the wolf againnn. I'm not the Red Riding Hood." She whined with a tad of pain in her voice, mostly annoyed. She angrily swung her Chakram, "It's annoying, you know." After scaring the beast away, she sat on the ground for the excessive energy used than normally. [ Step 2: The Winding Forest ]"Soldier! Waittttt! Come back!" She shouted and her voice echoed in the forest. Her horse had dumped her again, ignored her warning. "You stupid pony, don't wait the food, it's a sin." She cried out of her lungs and then breathed for oxygen. She checked on her food and estimated if it would be enough for another few days. Luckily, she had more than enough. Seeing food made her hungry and she decided to take a short break, eat some breads to resume her energy so that she would face any danger in her best condition. "Delicious. Food after work literally feels the best." She scooped her cheeks with her hands, enjoyed the good food. She stood up, dusted herself and stretched like a cat. "Alright, time to continue the journey." She flexed her body, jolting for long hours on horse in the hilly region made her muscles all tensed up. [ Step 3: The Dwarven Mountains ]It came back, to step on and break some skeletons, snorted at its stupid owner before it ran away again. Shu was glad for a few seconds as Soldier showed up, then wanted to cry the moment it turned its back on her. "You're the worst Soldier, give me hope and then run away." She sobbed. "And I told you not to waste food, you just don't listen!" The horse was gone for a long while, but her mumbling didn't stop. The petite apprentice just had too many grievances against Soldier. As its name suggested, it wasn't someone can easily deal with. Shu believed the different languages might cause the problem, too sad she wasn't a horse whisperer. Quote: Rolling a 5: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan. [ Step 4: The Mountain Summit ]Without the horse, she still walked past the labyrinth on her legs. The snow mountains was as cold as usual, but her armors were good enough to fight against the coldness. "Okay. Just need to climb this mountain and it'll be the final destination." Shu encouraged herself as she moved slowly upward. The snow was thick, she still had no idea why the nearby region can have weathers that were so different. She raised her leg and moved, feeling herself sank a bit before she moved another leg. "Hey the knight over there, come here." The old man waved a hand at her, Shu recognized he was the same wizard she met last time. "Mr. Wizard! It's you again. Food for you? You're so nice, thank you so much. I will, I will try my best." She talked to the wizard for a while before she climbed to the top, finding another piece of armor. Quote: Rolling a 6: An old man claiming to be a wizard hands you some food. Thanks, you guess? +10 food. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 18-5-5=8 (-10 onward) YOUR HP: 20/ 30 [ Greater Gauntlet of the *Raven* ] A bangle of intricate design, with *raven* patterns. Very fancy. ICly: after obtaining this, you will get a fancy new gauntlet to replace your existing gauntlet. You will get your name engraved on the gauntlet because it is super fancy. Maybe something like "Gauntlet of the Gauntlets".
