After many days of journeying, Jala almost completed her quest to obtain ALL the magical armor pieces. Of course, it was in order to retrieve it for the great king, but that didn't mean she couldn't keep some stuff to herself. She totally earned it, for her hard work!
Still, she was mixed on the idea of it being soon over. She did rather enjoy these side excursions. They were a welcome break from... whatever it was she needed a break from (often boredom), but also, they took her away from what was REALLY important, and with Camelot seeing a bit more action than before, she was glad to be able to devote her time to what REALLY mattered... which was fighting and kicking shadowling butt.
So it was with an excited yet heavy heart she set out for the Greater Shoulders of the Cat's Eye. Because it sounded neat.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 18 YOUR HP: 30/30

[ Step 1 - The Trek Forward ]
Still, she shouldn't be SAD sad just yet. This wasn't her last excursion. Nope, there was still one more, which involved a headpiece made of some tree. Really, helmets were not her thing and it sounded extremely dull which was why she left it for last, but she was still curious to see what it looked like. There were ways of making boring ol' helmets into sexy pieces of armor. Just... hard to imagine. And the aesthetics would probably cut out the usefulness of the armor. But it was still possible.
Besides, she couldn't imagine the great king wearing something unfashionable. That was... that was unheard of! Not that she had even SEEN the great king yet but that didn't matter.
Something else that didn't matter was this whole train of thought, because suddenly a bear attacked and Jala started to wonder if bears could wear helmets. Because it surely needed it after she delivered a swift kick to its head... after she hit it with her mace.Quote: Rolling a 2: You encounter a wild *animal here* that is extremely rabid and ferocious. [ Step 2 - The Winding Forest ]
Hmm, well, come to think of it, there could be some good-looking trees. It was totally plausible. Hmm, what were the types of trees that came to mind?
Well, there were oaks, birch, pine, uh....
Jala couldn't think of any more. Surely there were more, but she wasn't a tree person. Or a nature person for that matter. What would she even consider as sexy regarding a tree? Hmm...
Well... birch were kinda like these slim nubile trees, right? And... and they were smooth? White? Heck Jala had no idea. Trees were trees. Thinking about trees made her head hurt.
Well, at least she wasn't looking for that right now. Nope, this quest she was locating gem shoulder pads. Heck that was super sexy. And the gems were cat's eye. Best jewel. Jala could hardly wait to get her hands on those things. Ohhh she'd totally rock them.

[ Step 3 - The Dwarven Mountains ]
Jala was thinking about all the neat ways she could show off her spiffy new shoulder pads once she got them. She was already rocking a sweet flower cape, some kickass gauntlets, sexy panties, and a tabard which while unfortunately covered up her torso, rocked an awesome design of a fearsom beast. Chimeras were the best~
The only dent in her plan would be the helmet, but surely there wasn't anything she couldn't make look good. Heck, she made peasant clothes make good! Rags looked SUPER hot on her!
Why, if she weren't training to be a knight, she could probably run around in those all day.
Not that... that was needed. Her peasant days were long behind her.

[ Step 4 - The Mountain Summit ]
Sure she had a few scratches on her, but she made it to the top of the mountain relatively unscathed. AND there were the shoulder pads. Hooray!
AND more food. ALL THE FOOD.
