She rode along, not surprised to find it another gloomy day. And perhaps a little chilly. But weather was not something she would allow herself to complain about. There were far greater things to worry about, such as spiders and traps and giant fire monsters.
She was thankful that the land immediately around the castle was relatively free of such things.
In the light of this, a chilly day didn't seem bad at all, really. Sherry could even smile to herself. And perhaps hum a little tune. She didn't know the words, or where she'd heard it...or even
if she'd ever heard it before. But she hummed away, and somehow it made the right that much more pleasant.
Sherry had forgotten about one thing the countryside
did have.
The bees were pissed. Sherry and Stan must have ridden right over them.
It ended much the way it had before. With Sherry on the ground and Stan running off into the sunset, alone aside from a horde of bees chasing him.
There would be no more songs that day.
