Aiden walked int the arena while twirling his spetum at the ready. His eyes locked onto the Shadow Drome and narrowed in concentration. The creature didn't look all that tough but that didn't mean it wasn't. It never paid to underestimate an enemy. And this one had claws, spikes and sharp teeth so he would not let his guard down in the slightest. All of his observations took little time at all thankfully as the Drome was rushing toward him in attack shortly after he entered the arena.

The knight grinned, more baring his teeth more then anything else, in challenge then charged back. The two opponents met not quite in the middle of the arena and slashed at each other with the weapons they had, one with fang and claw, the other with blades of steel. The first attack done left them both on opposite sides of the arena from where they started and they turned to face one another once more.

The Drome was the first to charge once again and this time Aiden stayed his ground. His eyes never left the swift creatures and it bared down on him and instead he angled his spetum so that once the creature got to him, it's on weight and momentum would cause it damage in the end. Foot by foot it got closer and closer. Aiden shifted his stance so that he could brace against the ground long enough to damage and then twirl away before the tension made his weapon snap. It happened fast and he didn't have a lot of time to do the maneuvers in but somehow he pulled it off, twirling away from the creature and making what have been just a jab into a slice as well.

Aiden had kept his momentum going and had completed another twirl, slicing at the creatures back. Unfortunately it didn't have any effect on the beast as his blades just scraped off it's back spikes. Aiden briefly scowled at how lousy the attack had been but then just continued on planning out his next target and move.

Aiden bounced on his feet for a moment then launched at the creature with a swing of his spetum. While the attack connected in the end, it didn't do any damage thanks to the creature lifting it's claw up to attack him only to catch the blade as well. The green haired knight hissed under his breath as he swirled away, preparing for another attack.

Aiden backed up and analyzed his opponent for any weakness he could use against it. He gripped his spetum tightly and darted to the side when the Drome charged him again, not quite willing to attack again just yet. He continued to dodge for creatures attacks for a while before he saw what could be an opening. One he could use right about now. His grin melted into a smirk as he paused and let the beast come at him again. He held his weapon at the ready and dug his boots into the dirt. The knight breathed in deeply slowly then suddenly let it and the energy he had been gathering out in one explosive movement.

The shadow creature didn't have a change when his blades pierced it's side right where he had left a wound previously. It let out a screech then died, leaving Aiden victorious.

Once Aiden was sure that the creature was dead, he walked over to it to search it for any loot. He had heard that sometimes creatures such as it would sometimes carry Sacred Points but it didn't seem as if this one had any. He gave one last look over before turing and walking away with a bounce in his steps. Just because he didn't get anything doesn't mean anything. After all, he still won.
