Greater Shoulders of the GarnetNow, this is an survival rp exercise. The requirement to get a successful artifact is you must post 600 or more words, follow one of each step, and not run out of food. )
- At the start of the quest, each player in your party must roll 5d10 Add up all party member's values. That is the amount of food they carried with them. If your party runs out of food, you will have to head home, it's no good to die out there in the wild... (QUEST FAILED, RETRY AGAIN).
- If your Knight runs out of HP they PASS OUT and are considered OUT of this quest. That means they do not get the award. A group can choose to continue on without him/her or head back and abandon quest to redo.
- If you are doing this with a group, EACH person of the party must roll for each stage once before progressing to the next stage. If there is no post after 8 ooc hours, then you can skip them and they are considered KO'ed.
- Now, all players get one extra reroll. That means if you are solo OR group, and you do not like your roll, you can reroll ONCE. This applies to PER player, and does not consume a turn.
- If you have attempted and FAILED this three times in a row, you may skip all the dysentery rolls meaning, if you roll for that, reroll instantly. This only works for the next expedition you do, and after that resets back to no skips.

- Your party starts the trek forwards, the path out of Camelot is extremely dangerous and full of rugged, mountainous terrain. Be careful, a single misstep will cause you to loose anything and everything! Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost.
Rolling a 2: You encounter a wild *animal here* that is extremely rabid and ferocious. It blocks the path and attacks you! You take -10 damage!
Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. BEEEEES. Your horse runs away, making it extremely hard on you. Every turn you take, you must subtract 5 food from the caravan, starting next turn.
Rolling a 4: You catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
gaia_crown [ Step 2: The Winding Forest ]
- The forest is extremely confusing, and there is a myth that dangerous elves lie in these forest. Dangerous arrow-shooting elves and giant killer spiders. If you don't follow the path, you will get lost forever in the forest labyrinth. Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: A giant spider scares you so much you drop whatever it is you're eating! -5 Food
Rolling a 2: Someone seems to have left food on the road for you! How nice! +10 food.
Rolling a 3: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
Rolling a 4: You catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
gaia_crown [ Step 3: The Dwarven Mountains ]
- You enter a giant mountain labyrinth. Dead skeletons, rusted armour and the bodies of fallen knights plague each step. You swear you could hear the sound of something horrific echoing in the far distance. Each player must now roll 1d6 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: You accidentally step on a loaded booby trap! Arrows rain down on you, and you take -20 damage!
Rolling a 2: You accidentally step on a booby trap as giant axes start swinging at you! You take - 5 damage!
Rolling a 3: You accidentally step on a booby trap as snakes start chasing you! Why did it have to be snakes... -10 damage
Rolling a 4: You hear a horrific roaring noise and when you look behind you you see a terrifying beast made of fire chasing you! In your horror you lose half the remaining caravan food.
Rolling a 5: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
Rolling a 6: You find a small supply crate from the last group of knights who tried to attempt this! +10 food
gaia_crown [ Step 4: The Mountain Summit ]
- You've done it, you've reached the mountain top! Now just to climb the highest hill and try to get that rare artifact, this better be worth it. Each player must now roll 1d6 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
- This quest is NOT considered complete until EVERYONE has rolled. IF anyone does not roll they fail the quest but if you succeeded with everyone else, you can go ahead and claim the prize!
Rolling a 1: Giant unexplainable eagles start attacking you! Ow! You take -10 damage for yourself.
Rolling a 2: In your excitement to get the artifact, you drop one of the bags of food! You lose ALL OF YOUR FOOD. QUEST FAIL FOR WHOLE PARTY.
Rolling a 3: You accidentally shout a little too loud in excitement and unleash an avalanche! -10 damage for WHOLE PARTY. If anyone in your party hits 0 they FAIL THE QUEST
Rolling a 4: Just as you're about to touch the artifact, you catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
Rolling a 5: Somehow, you made it safely. Somehow.
Rolling a 6: An old man claiming to be a wizard hands you some food. Thanks, you guess? +10 food.

Trisha was getting ready for another quest on her own. She had heard of a Gemstone shoulder guards that someone needed to go fetch. Trisha being the helpful person she was offered to help of course. She gathered supplies and then spotted someone else in the area. "Oh hello. Are you looking to go out on a quest too?" QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 23 YOUR HP: 30

Turning at someone approaching, Radley smiled and pressed her fingers together nervously. "H-hello there..." She hoped it wasn't someone who would try to take her food, or attack her. With the friendly manner of the other, she was certain that it would be a good encounter. She was right, and immensely relieved that she was right. "Yes, I could use some help," Radley admitted, smiling at the girl. "I'm Radley." Lifting her own supplies over her shoulder, she double checked to make sure she had everything, then glanced toward the area she thought about checking out. She wanted to be stronger, but she didn't really want to put anyone out if she could help it... QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 60/60 YOUR HP: 30/30

"I'm Trisha, and I could use some help too. I'm going after the Greater Shoulders of the Garnet. I hear they are on a mountain somewhere that a way." Trisha pointed dramatically into the distance. That seemed about right didn't it? "Unless you had a place in mind, or we can take turns. The reward is the same in a group or alone so it's no big deal." After she finished saddling up, Trisha road out with her new companion. As they were walking through the forest a nest of bees swarmed a little close to the path. Trisha didn't notice it until it was too late. "Oh no!" Trisha was knocked off her horse and it was gone. Just gone.  QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 60 YOUR HP: 30

Radley ran over to help Trisha up, glancing around quickly to see if any bees had remained. They all seemed to have followed the horse, but she wasn't sure and wanted to make sure that her newfound friend was alright. "Did you get stung?" Checking over her arms, she helped to pull her up and brush her backside off where she'd fallen, giving a smile. "I think we both need a little help." She stepped back to give Trisha one more onceover and let out a yelp as a wild boar gouged one of its tusks into her leg. There was no blood, but she was definitely certain that it would bruise badly later. For now, it hurt like hell. "Maybe... you should lead," Radley offered, rubbing the back of her leg with a grimace. Trisha didn't even bother to try an chase down the horse this time. "Oh I'm not that hurt. Yeah I got stung but it's nothing." Trisha scratched off the stinger of one of the bees that had left it's mark in her. she tried not to worry about it too aweful much. It ached but wasn't a big deal. "Sure I'll lead." Trisha took the lead of Radley's horse and walked with it through the forest. as they walked a spider swung down in her face, just as she was about to take a bite of an apple. Clamping her mouth shut this time and not screeching, Radley was about to take a bite of her own food when she flung it away in fright, avoiding the rather large spider that dropped down in front of them both. "Aaaahhhh, did you see that thing!?" It made her itch just thinking about it! Rubbing her arms and torso, Radley shook her head and shivered. "No spiders. No thank you." It wasn't that she was terrified of them - it was the fact that they just felt weird whenever they crawled on your body. She shivered again. "Yuck. Let's continue on, please?" Glancing back at the food she'd dropped, she realized that she had no desire to pick it back up. They still had quite a bit of food left, and she was more than happy to continue on this strange little quest of theirs. "Yeah the spiders at pretty big around here. They seem to be after our food..." It always seemed to be the case that some got dropped whenever one was around. anyway. Trisha was getting used to the effects by now from having those dumb spiders around. Then the strangest thing happened. her horse was back. "Hold on I got to go get my horse." Trisha tried to chase it but it just gave up and ran off again. Trisha spent a long time trying to track it down and even longer coming back to the party. She was pretty exhausted by the end of that little side track. "I'm sorry. I'm so tired." Trisha had to say down and take a break. Her legs ached and everything hurt. It would be a little while before she moved. maybe some food would help. She could only hope so. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 40 YOUR HP: 30

"We're almost there," Radley murmured softly, reaching down to offer another hand to help Trisha up, but as soon as she stepped forward she triggered giant axes of doom that shot up and towards her. Ducking to the ground as best she could while taking minimal damage was a challenge, and she was pretty sure that along with a bit of her hair being shaved off, a bit of her life was shaved off as well. "W-we're almost t-to the t-t-top?" Radley breathed, attempting to catch her breath as her hand pressed against her chest, right above her wildly beating heart. "Almost there?" She kept repeating those words, not realizing that she was continually repeating them. That last sentence of hers almost came out as a squeak. Almost. "Oh no are you ok?" Trisha worried about the axes, but she seemed alright."
they were so very close. Trisha got very excited. "We are almost there! she accidentally dropped her bag while racing up towards the top as soon as she did, she realized on thing. they were doomed. oh wait they had hope surely Radley had extra food in her bag. It was then that Trisha say her drop the bag in the same river. Doomed!

In her excitement on reaching the top, Radley literally jumped for joy and let go of her own bag, not realizing that Trisha had done the same. "Hey! HEY! We made it, right!?" She glanced back to her friend, her shoulders sinking down as she realized that there was no food between either of them. "Oh..." She scuffed her foot against the ground, feeling like the biggest heel in the world. "I'm sorry, I didn't... I mean, I didn't mean to drop..." Oh, she was terrible. "Maybe... we can try later?" Glancing over the mountain, she saw that the bag of food was somewhere not easily attainable. "... uh. We might just have to start over." Well, there went that idea. "But... perhaps a break first?" Giving a sad smile to Trisha, she bowed apologetically. "If you'd like to try again with me, that is... but I think a little rest is in order."
