Now, this is an survival rp exercise. The requirement to get a successful artifact is you must post 600 or more words, follow one of each step, and not run out of food. )
- At the start of the quest, each player in your party must roll 5d10 Add up all party member's values. That is the amount of food they carried with them. If your party runs out of food, you will have to head home, it's no good to die out there in the wild... (QUEST FAILED, RETRY AGAIN).
- If your Knight runs out of HP they PASS OUT and are considered OUT of this quest. That means they do not get the award. A group can choose to continue on without him/her or head back and abandon quest to redo.
- If you are doing this with a group, EACH person of the party must roll for each stage once before progressing to the next stage. If there is no post after 8 ooc hours, then you can skip them and they are considered KO'ed.
- Now, all players get one extra reroll. That means if you are solo OR group, and you do not like your roll, you can reroll ONCE. This applies to PER player, and does not consume a turn.
- If you have attempted and FAILED this three times in a row, you may skip all the dysentery rolls meaning, if you roll for that, reroll instantly. This only works for the next expedition you do, and after that resets back to no skips.

- Your party starts the trek forwards, the path out of Camelot is extremely dangerous and full of rugged, mountainous terrain. Be careful, a single misstep will cause you to loose anything and everything! Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: You accidentally slip, almost fall to your demise off a mountain cliff, and drop some of the food! Roll 1d6 to see how much food you lost.
Rolling a 2: You encounter a wild *animal here* that is extremely rabid and ferocious. It blocks the path and attacks you! You take -10 damage!
Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. BEEEEES. Your horse runs away, making it extremely hard on you. Every turn you take, you must subtract 5 food from the caravan, starting next turn.
Rolling a 4: You catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
gaia_crown [ Step 2: The Winding Forest ]
- The forest is extremely confusing, and there is a myth that dangerous elves lie in these forest. Dangerous arrow-shooting elves and giant killer spiders. If you don't follow the path, you will get lost forever in the forest labyrinth. Each player must now roll 1d4 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: A giant spider scares you so much you drop whatever it is you're eating! -5 Food
Rolling a 2: Someone seems to have left food on the road for you! How nice! +10 food.
Rolling a 3: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
Rolling a 4: You catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
gaia_crown [ Step 3: The Dwarven Mountains ]
- You enter a giant mountain labyrinth. Dead skeletons, rusted armour and the bodies of fallen knights plague each step. You swear you could hear the sound of something horrific echoing in the far distance. Each player must now roll 1d6 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
Rolling a 1: You accidentally step on a loaded booby trap! Arrows rain down on you, and you take -20 damage!
Rolling a 2: You accidentally step on a booby trap as giant axes start swinging at you! You take - 5 damage!
Rolling a 3: You accidentally step on a booby trap as snakes start chasing you! Why did it have to be snakes... -10 damage
Rolling a 4: You hear a horrific roaring noise and when you look behind you you see a terrifying beast made of fire chasing you! In your horror you lose half the remaining caravan food.
Rolling a 5: Your horse gives up on you, running away. Every turn you take, you must subtract another additional 5 food from the caravan.
Rolling a 6: You find a small supply crate from the last group of knights who tried to attempt this! +10 food
gaia_crown [ Step 4: The Mountain Summit ]
- You've done it, you've reached the mountain top! Now just to climb the highest hill and try to get that rare artifact, this better be worth it. Each player must now roll 1d6 and match it to the dice results below. Make sure you are rping everything. You can also spend unlimited time just rping back and forth before going to your next dice roll.
- This quest is NOT considered complete until EVERYONE has rolled. IF anyone does not roll they fail the quest but if you succeeded with everyone else, you can go ahead and claim the prize!
Rolling a 1: Giant unexplainable eagles start attacking you! Ow! You take -10 damage for yourself.
Rolling a 2: In your excitement to get the artifact, you drop one of the bags of food! You lose ALL OF YOUR FOOD. QUEST FAIL FOR WHOLE PARTY.
Rolling a 3: You accidentally shout a little too loud in excitement and unleash an avalanche! -10 damage for WHOLE PARTY. If anyone in your party hits 0 they FAIL THE QUEST
Rolling a 4: Just as you're about to touch the artifact, you catch some medieval version of dysentry and feel extremely sick. You need to be sent home IMMEDIATELY (QUEST FAIL for that person, they will have to retry again either single or with another group).
Rolling a 5: Somehow, you made it safely. Somehow.
Rolling a 6: An old man claiming to be a wizard hands you some food. Thanks, you guess? +10 food.

They were off on another journey. Micheal was having problems finding the food. Did they hide it? "Hey Happy, do you know where the food is?" he picked as much of it up as he could find for the moment. then he turned around to pester his companion who seemed to have become a constant in his life. She made things just comfortable. He liked the feeling he had when he was with her. Like she was his Little sister or something. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 18 YOUR HP: 30

Joy had come to always expect to find Michael whenever she set off on these expeditions. Sure they tend to be fraught with peril and the horrible stench dysentery but wasn't that just the way things were? Plus, watching his back and having him watch hers felt perfectly natural.
Grinning hugely, Joy went over to a section of the supply room, pushing aside some piled up rags to reveal the hidden stash. "I figured it didn't hurt to know where some of the extra were kept," she winked.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 55 YOUR HP: 30/30

"Oh good, looks like you really did know where the food was. Good! Now how much did you cook?" He didn't even know is she could good but he was hungry for some good home cooking, whatever that tasted like.
Micheal finished saddling up his horse and they hit the road. The cliffs were high and micheal rode just a wee to close.

Micheal got really close to the edge, dangerously close. He might have almost fallen but the horse swung away at the very last second. Food tumbled from his pack. Oh well, it was gone now. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 49 YOUR HP: Your knight's current HP

Joy's stomach plummeted with a sense of dread as she watched the red-haired man nearly fall off the cliff. She urged her own horse on, legs gripping the sides of the creature as it galloped. "Eesh, you'd think we'd get better at all this riding stuff." Joy's attempt at levity was a good enough distraction for her. It was one thing to be the one so close to the precipice, it was another to see someone she considered an ally nearly take the plunge. "Oh come now Joy." the name slipped of his tongue with ease in his annoyance. "I'm a big manly man now and I can take care of myself." he said with some childish annoyance with all the familiarity of someone that had grown up with her his whole life. He forgot himself in how familur he was being and pouted instead. was that a spider? He smacked it off his horn. It had landed on some food. Food was gone now. "Um hum, of course you are, Michael," Joy nodded with all the authority and demeanor of someone who'd grown up hearing wild boasting and great exaggerations on a near-daily basis. She was filled with the urge to ruffle his hair but refrained.
Instead, brown eyes spotted something on the road. She slowed the horse to a halt and dismounted to inspect it. Beaming, Joy held up a discarded rucksack and when she tipped the contents out, she found it was food. "Lucky us!"QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 52 YOUR HP: 30/30

"Oh haaaaayyyyy. You found us food." had Joy actually ruffled his hair she might have been met with little resistance. just the casual struggling of a little brother who wanted it but would never admit to wanting it. He never minded the attention. not really. It was about then that his horse just decided to give up and run off. one second he was dismounted, trying to get a good sip of water form the stream, the next his horse was gone. just gone. he would half to walk. "Hey Joy, can I..." oh her horse was gone too. huh. "Never mind."Micheal decided that taking a break to eat was more important than chasing down a dumb horse anyway. He gathered some water from the stream and then plopped down to have a nice space to relax for a few minutes that Quickly turned into hours. He just wasn't even in to moving, instead he took a nap for a while. once he was well rested, then and only then could he be pried up and off to the next place. "Hay happy. The brunette considered, briefly, to give the horses this time to rest. Which was why she didn't rush to return to her saddle as she started breaking open some of the rations. When she heard the clatter of hoof beats and looked up, it was too late. Both her and Michael's mounts decided to frolic and gambol among the trees and foliage. They looked like they were having too much fun for her to have the heart and drag them back. Or try to drag them back, really.
The man she traveled with decided it was an opportune time to catch some sleep. With a sigh that was more resigned than unhappy, she leaned back and kept guard. When he woke up, Joy was not expecting the question. She mulled it over in her head, shrugging, "Sometimes. Not too much though, it makes my head hurt." Happy seemed to have decided to take up watch. Which was no big deal. He didn't need one but he didn't mind either.
"Yeah, it makes my head hurt too. but I just feel like something is missing you know. Like.... I don't know. I'm not really supposed to be here as in here. I don't mind it, but I feel like I'm missing some of the closeness I once had. though around you the missing feeling feels less I guess." he shrugged and dropped the topic. did any of them really know who they were? That was the real question. Still for a moment his heart ached in pain as the missing loneliness that should be filled with something else.
Still now that he was ready Micheal got to walking. And met, some weird old guy claiming to be a wizard. "But aren't wizards supposed to all work for the king?"
"Oh don't mind that!" the wizard dropped food in his hands and vanished as quick as he come. Was this some kind of bribe? Weird.
At any rate they were almost there! Time to go.

Joy listened intently to his words, tapping her chin in deep thought as she considered their situation. She had to admit, there was a sense of camaraderie between them that she didn't feel with the other knights. Not that they were bad individuals or bad people, yes, some were a little rude and brash but given the current state of the world who could begrudge them that? But if Michael had been anyone else, if these words came out of the mouths of a different knight, Joy would have probably laughed at them.
Definitely laughed at them, maybe made a pithy remark on them being sweet to think so and try to change the topic. The man she was with at the moment, though... She opened her mouth, ready to tell him that she had a sense of familiarity with him as well, that she shared his feeling of not-exactly-loneliness they had when they were apart.
But then the wizard popped out of nowhere, startling her in the process and causing her to give out a loud yelp. Which in turn brought forth an avalanche. Afterwards they managed to dig themselves out of the snow and retrieve the artifact.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 52 YOUR HP: 20/30
