The tabard she'd received felt a bit strange to wear, considering its imagery. Mildred tried not to think about it too much, hoping there wasn't some significance to having a tabard of a beast called the mother of monsters bestowed to her, but she was pleased to have earned it nonetheless. Apparently, Robert still had not learned how to calm swarming bees. This came so naturally to her that she was a bit baffled at how much trouble he had with it - so she hurried to try and assist him, and fell into a crevice she hadn't been able to see. Not only did he climb down to help Mildred back up off of the cliff face, he also helped her find food to replace all of the food they were losing. What luck! Giant axes were his nemesis. He ducked, but more importantly, forced Mildred to duck as well. The horses were short enough to deal with it themselves. Pushing her out of the way of the axes was a kind gesture, truly. But she was horrendously ungraceful, and immediately lost her balance, finding herself facefirst in a trap filled with snakes. Their prize was so close! He could taste it!
What he couldn't taste was all of the food he'd just lost in the process of trying to hasten himself to the artifact. What a loser.
