Even Wrath wasn't sure why he continued to put himself through the pain of these quests anymore, whether it be for the shiny objects he could procure for himself at the end or an intense loyalty for a king he had yet to actually meet or see, or if he was just ridiculously insane. Or it could have been that he was just dumb, and a glutton for punishment because of that. That was also a possibility. Whatever the case, the large man got his supplies, map and horse, and took off on his journey with a broad smile on his face, because what could go wrong? Plenty, apparently, as not far into his journey he was immediately accosted by a swarm of bees. He wondered, at this point, if maybe his horse smelled like honey, as he fell to the ground and the pesky, buzzing insects went bee-lining (har har) after Dreadhoof, who was making his way back to the castle at a full gallop like the total coward he was. That spider was a total a*****e. He never just stopped to say "hi" before he scurried away into the bush, and Wrath always ended up dropping what he was eating. And when he was incredibly hungry too, now having to walk instead of ride! Sigh. Looking down at his now dirtied food, Wrath shrugged his massive shoulders, dug more out of his bag, and, once again, continued on his way. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 9 YOUR HP: 30/30

Into the mountains, and Wrath thought that, once again, he was doing pretty okay for himself. He hadn't yet triggered any traps on the floor, so there was no arrow shower for him to take or snakes that wanted to n** away at his ankles. After a while, he began to walk along with a bit of a spring in his step, munching on an apple all the while, looking downright jovial. And then a noise behind him. Wrath paused, and slowly turned towards the noise. There was something bright in the distance. Closer. Closer still. Oh. Oh, okay. That was a thing. While Wrath was normally not one to run from a challenge, this was a bit too much, even for the mountain of a man. Living fire was not a thing he wanted to encounter. It would probably singe his beard off! Turning around, he booted it away as fast as his burly legs could carry him, dropping what was left of the food in his hand, which wasn't much, because he didn't really have much left to lose in the first place. It was a combination of things that made Wrath give up his quest just before his journeys end. Lack of anything to eat and a very grumbly tummy, for one, but also, he suddenly felt very, very sick, just as he put his hands down on the artifact that he sought. Had it been cursed? Or was it just him? Groaning pathetically, he somehow drug his horribly sick body all the way back to Camelot. But was this the end of Wrath and his incredible adventures? Oh no. Not at all. The man would be back, just as all glutton for punishments eventually are. He would never give up. Never. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 0 YOUR HP: 30/30

Well, second time was a charm, right? Wrath loaded up on all of the questy goodies that he would need, and set off again, this time determined not to get sick, lose his food, or his horse. This damn horse was finishing a quest with him, for once. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 30 YOUR HP: 30/30

Oh, hello, puppy! Wait, why was the puppy growling? Why was the puppy looking at him with deadly intent in it's eyes? Maybe it was just hungry. Yes, that was probably the reason, especially considering it was now chewing, quite viciously, on Wrath's leg. Puppy got a solid boot to the head, for that one.
