[Gathering] She could do this, right? Go alone on a quest?
She'd been on a couple by now, so...it should be okay, right? The girl him hawed over her questionable survival skills, debating whether or not she could actually solo the whole journey, and what the repercussions of failure would be. If she died out there, all alone, nobody would notice.
Of course, nobody would likely notice if she returned victorious anyway, and at the very least if she didn't, nobody would miss her. It was one of the joys of being her, and a bonus of being without your memories.
She had almost convinced herself not to go when she realized...she had a bag of food strapped to her horse's saddle. Apparently she had gotten herself ready while she debated even going...
Well. Guess that settled it.

[Step 1] Right out of the gates, a wild canine - one that was foaming at the mouth - charged her, either trying to get at her horse or get into Camelot, whichever happened first. She shrieked, her horse screamed, and between the pair of them they managed to trample the beast to death.
Well, she thought it had been trampled to death. She was actually too busy spurring her horse into galloping as far away as possible to even bother to check.

[Step 2] Her horse finally slowed as the trail went through the forest, needing to stop to avoid a misstep that would cost them both their lives. They went forward carefully, trying to be as cautious as possible -
- And then, a giant spider blocked their path. Amrita, who had been about to break a loaf of bread, instead let out a startled cry, throwing the whole loaf at the massive creature. It made a strange noise, then skittered away, disappearing into the bush as a couple apples were launched at it as well, for good measure.

[Step 3] After the scare with the spider, Amrita kept a sharp vigilance on their surroundings. She was not about to lose more food to dangerous creatures. Like the last few times she went through these parts, the forest broke into a great labyrinth, one littered with the bodies of the fallen. She hoped she wouldn't be one of them...
She stared too long at a fresh corpse to notice the raised stone, nor did she feel the way it gave in under her horse's hooves.
She felt the arrows though...and then she felt nothing.

[Gathering] Somehow, she woke up okay. There were no disabling wounds, which was at least a start.
Why she readied her horse again, she had no idea. Sucker for punishment, perhaps?

[Gathering] She really was a sucker for punishment, wasn't she? She had to be, if she insisted on attempting a third round solo.
Perhaps, she mused, under all her useless layers she actually had a decent trait: she must have been stubborn. At least a little bit. As terrified as she was, she couldn't let it go. She had to get through this, and she had to do it alone.
She either won, or didn't come back. Those were her options.

[Step 1] This time, there was no ravenous coyote, at least.
She got pretty far before her horse slipped against a cliff edge, making them both scramble to regain the footing.

[Step 2] ...Hey! another crate of food! It made up for the ones she had lost, and that was always great in her books. So far, so good.

[Step 3] While she was avoiding the arrows, she managed to trigger the snakes. The same one her first companion had triggered.
Unlike him, she avoided getting them everywhere, though in the process she did get bit a couple times. Oops.

[Step 4] She was about to reach the summit when, suddenly, eagles. They dove at her, tore at her clothing, scratched her skin...and suddenly, they were gone. She was free to approach the hill, and to dig around until she found what she was looking for: a pair of gauntlets, ready for her taking.
Now she just had to get home.
