Name: Zuberi
Stage: Prentice
Race: Pure-bred Fire Earthling
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Class: Prentice - Swordsman - Knight - Assassin

Description: Zuberi is tall and muscular, though not overly so. It is clear that his training has been good to him, without making him too bulky. He has medium brown skin and wine colored hair that flows in loose waves to about an inch past his shoulders. A single slim braid with gold beads hangs on one side of his hair. The rest is loose. His eyes are a deep intense maroon. He is the handsome stoic type.

His orange stones are mostly on his shoulders and are part of the reason he prefers sleeveless shirts.

Clothing: He tends to wear simple, but expensive, high quality clothes, usually sleeveless shirts. The colors are either dark purples or bold reds that don't clash with his hair.

Accessories: He tends to dislike wearing accessories, but he has a gold ear cuff on the ridge of one of his ears.

3 Base Traits: Possessive, Focused, Willful

Personality: The essence of Zuberi's personality is that there are things that matter and there are things that don't. Most things are in the 'doesn't matter' category. Because of this he has little interest in most things and doesn't really get riled up or care what people think or say. He cares little for what he should do and only what he wants to do. He can be very callous, ignores people, and is often quiet, because he has little interest in interacting with those around him.

On the other end, when Zuberi puts something in his 'matters' category he can be the complete opposite. He is incredibly intense and obsessive about the things that matter to him. He is also incredibly possessive of the things he considers his, whether thing or person. His motto is, 'What is his is his,' the rules and expectation just doesn't matter. He is very willful and focused when it comes to improving or gaining things that matter to him. And no is never an option when it comes to what he wants. In order to get what he wants he will use manipulation, intimidation and if he has to, and violence though that is often a last resort. His only limit is that he wouldn't physically hurt the person he is possessive about, though he doesn't mind being forceful or doing things that might emotional or mentally hurt them.

Because of this and his parent's inability to break him from such qualities, he is a tad spoiled, but this is often cancelled out by his complete loyalty to those that fit into his 'matters' category. So far that includes his parents he cares for though they often exasperate him with their need to change him, and L'lhynd.

History: As a child, nothing ever interested Zuberi except for fighting and the sword. Even as a child, he would spend all day fighting and swinging around whatever sword he could manage to lift. His parents let him be for the most part and as long as he went to his lessons he could do whatever he wished, at least as a child. As he grew older, his parents started to worry. Though he had people who admired him, Zuberi had no friends. Any attempts by others to befriend him were met with rebuff or him simply walking away.

Worried, his parents decided to get him a companion and servant. They found what they wanted in a Matori slave, called L'lhynfd, giving him to Zuberi. To his parent's surprise, Zuberi took to the child very fast. First fascinated with his unusual appearance and then by his sharp tongue, since most people were either intimidated by his parent's wealth or Zuberi's intense and intimidating presence to talk back to him.

Eventually, the two became inseparable, mostly because Zuberi refused to let L'lhynd far from him whether the boy wished it or not. The only time Zuberi would let L'lhynd leave his side was when he was training or doing sword practice. After a while his parents noticed Zuberi wasn't making friends with people other than L'lhynd. They attempted to seperate them, but Zuberi feverantly refused, disobeying his parents and even one time chopping down a door. Exasperated, his parents asked Zuberi why just L'lhynd. Zuberi simply said, "He's mine."

Over time Zuberi did eventually speak with people outside of L'lhynd, but none of them held the draw that L'lhynd did. So when L'lhynd ran away after the Matori were freed, Zuberi was furious. As soon as he could he went after L'lhynd, because no matter what anyone said or what new laws were passed, What's mine is mine.

(The connection with L'lhynd's character has been ok'd by Leth.)

It was recommended that I quote you once I'm at the LFC point. I hope this is okay.

Just a couple of questions to start you off with :]

He's pretty possessive over his things, can this be a problem with people as well? Like if we were to find someone he loved, would he consider them under his motto? (I know he's like this with L'lhynd but as a slave I could imagine Zuberi would consider him more of a possession than a person)

What will he do to prevent others from getting things that are his? Will he resort to violence, or just verbal instigation?

What is Zuberi's relationship with his parents? And his thoughts of them?

There may be more questions later, but for now that's it :}

Thanks for looking this over so swiftly! I inserted the things you requested. They are in brownish-red in the profile. But I thought I'll answer them here too.

His possessiveness applies to both things and people, though there is a range to just how possessive he might be of something. Surprisingly enough, he does consider L'lhynd a person and not a thing. It's just for him that it doesn't change the face that L'lhynd is his.

Zuberi will use whatever he has on hand to get what he wants. He can be surprisingly clever, and will use manipulation, intimidation and sometimes violence, though violence is often a last resort.

Zuberi cares for his parents and was lucky enough to be an only child otherwise there might have been a problem with possessiveness when it came to a sibling. Since there wasn't he's more relaxed about them. His parents exasperate him at time with their need to change him, but he loves them.

Hope that answers everything to your satisfaction! biggrin
