Embarking on a quest for the sake of the King was not nearly as enticing as embarking on a quest for Sir Mordred the Flawless, so Thackery had taken his time in doing so. Eventually, he came to the realization that advancing his armor and abilities was a quest for Mordred...sort of. The better he was at this, the better he was at anything Mordred might need from him, right? QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 36 YOUR HP: 30

Spot, his fluffy little pony with an all-black coat and no spots in sight, was eager to go on this adventure. Thackery had not yet earned any particular riding skills, as he had spent all of his time with Spot thus far training him to bow down at the sight of Mordred, because priorities. Because of this, he was at the whims of the pony, who led him right over a rather fierce-looking dog who was enjoying his scavenged dinner. The dog wasn't pleased with this, and snapped at his heels as Spot tried to carry them far away from this. When Spot finally slowed down, he slowed to a full stop. Confused, Thackery stopped staring at the clouds to see what he'd discovered. "Yay! Food!" Enthusiastic over this good fortune, he vigorously ruffled the pony's mane, then hopped down to collect the additional rations. It didn't take long for Thackery to begin daydreaming again, his eyes turning skyward as he began to create intricate Mordred-themed fantasies. This one involved some snuggling and a significant amount of worship and also a mirror. This came to an abrupt and pointy end, much to his displeasure. QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 46 YOUR HP: 20

But oh, how could anything keep his attention when it was not The Fairest Knight of All? It couldn't. And Thackery proved that by slipping into another daydream, which led him directly into a faceful of bees. When they finally escaped the bees that had been chasing them, namely by running in many circles, Thackery encountered a whole trail of food once they set on their way again. It was, in fact, his own food, which had been dropped in the bees' pursuit. He treated it with the excitement of entirely new food anyway, giving a cheer of 'yaaaaay' every time he reached to pick one up. Collecting all of that food meant that he was doubly distracted, however. Each little bit made him think about how it might be to share it with Mordred, and his thoughts were so clouded with contentment that he didn't notice the trap he triggered.
