~The Myth~

Everyone in town has heard the old legend of their small town of River Thorn. How a thousand years ago their was a great demon lord who sought to take over the world. Using a tower built from the souls of the town he would launch his evil invasion and bring the mortal world to it's knees and rule from his tower. He was almost successful too, fortunately five brave warriors, whose house stood at the far in of the town, rose to defeat him and won, but at the cost of their lives and their loved ones. Some of the older parents believe that the story may have some base to be true. More on the fact that their is the ruin of a tower in the middle of town and their is the old house on the outskirts of the town. However most kids and teens today think of this story as a boring school lesson. No one new ever comes to River Thorn. It's just a small town forgotten by time.

~The Real Story~

There was an actual demon lord that almost took over the world. Thankfully those five warriors were barely able to defeat him, however it didn't happen a thousand years ago it was ended. It recurs every thousand years till a climatic battle that resets everything to be repeated. The five warriors are Immortals that stop the Demon Lord from completing his plan. They each control an element. Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit. They are not sent from God or any angel. They were brought into the world with one purpose, to fight this never ending battle. The first time they barely pulled it off. They needed the help of five girls that also had control over the elements, but they did not have the raw power that the five boys had. Together all ten took down the Demon Lord. At the end of it the girls had their minds wiped and they disappeared. Since then the loop began. The girls come back to River Thorn being drawn to it as is their destiny. They met the boys and they fight the Demon Lord. However this time something has changed in the story, the girls have arrived much earlier than they should have. Also this time around two of the boys, [Water and Air], don't seem to have the raw power they need, trouble could be brewing. [This means the water and air girls have the raw power so some roles are being switched]
