Basically, I'm setting this up so that Acy and I have a log of our rp with our Sengoku Basara and Touken Ranbu characters so we don't get lost on who's done and said what with who. Don't post here, since this isn't for seeking rp, it's for keeping track of things and for me and Acy to rp in every now and then when we don't feel like putting it all in shop.Pockettu currently involved - Date Masamune, warlord and ruler of Oshu, leader of Clan Date and the Sendai area. Master of Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, Ookurikara, Tsurumaru Kuninaga, and Heshikiri Hasebe. Also owns Taikogane Sadamune, and one last as of yet unnamed sword. The last two do not exist in Pockettu currently, but I'm listing them here anyway. For a warlord, he is a bit eccentric, donning his army with gold and flashy colors. Commonly uses Engrish such as "cool", "no", "let's party", "go to hell", etc. He also enjoys cooking and is a patron of the arts. Has a running rivalry with Sanada Yukimura although the two highly respect each other. Katakura Kojūrō is Date Masamune's loyal retainer, his 'Right Eye'. Kojūrō has been a part of Masamune's life since Masamune was a small boy. Kojūrō is fiercely protective of Masamune and his subordinates and is the calm voice of reason to Masamune's hot-blooded eccentricity. Harm Masamune or his subordinates or speak badly about them in any way, and Kojūrō will beat you harshly. Kojūrō has been hinted to be stronger than his master various times, and possibly he himself knows this; but he has unwavering faith in Masamune, despite the latter's young age and recklessness. In the One-Eyed Dragon he sees the future leader of Japan, and is determined to bring his master's ambition to fulfillment. Aside from watching over his lord and guiding him, Kojūrō loves to garden. He has his own garden outside the castle that he tends to every day and made himself. Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, one of Date Masamune's 6 dragon claw swords, recently turned into something other than a sword. Typically partnered with Ookurikara. Always tries to be 'cool' like Masamune-sama. Because of this, he has inherited traits such as the love for cooking and speaks Engrish from time to time [but not to the extent of his lord]. Seemingly gets along with everyone, he can be seen as a mother hen of sorts, always look out and watching over all. Due to this he can be absent minded and forget about his own needs. Mitsutada doesn't really bring up his past much, only mentioning that he once belonged to Oda Nobunaga and it is how he knows Hasebe. Much of his past remains a mystery but one thing is sure... Never insult his lord, Masamune, otherwise you will see what his years in Oda Nobunaga's service has taught him. Mitsutada has recently (8/03/15) become officially 'married' (He and Ookurikara exchanged swords, which is the sword equivalent of a marriage ceremony) to Ookurikara. Ookurikara, another one of Date Masamune's 6 dragon claw swords, recently turned into something other than a sword. Tsundere and loner extraordinaire. Also typically lazy, unless it comes to protecting Mitsutada or Masamune. Mitsutada and Masamune are also the only ones who will get away with calling him cutsey nicknames, invading his personal space, and ordering him around. Typically doesn't give straight yes answers, preferring to instead say things like "I don't hate it." or "It's ok.." He's not afraid to say when he doesn't like something though, and will most definitely attempt to beat the s**t out of anyone he hears talking badly about Masamune-sama. He has become a bit more friendly during the time he's spent with Mitsutada and the two have become a couple (and adoptive parents to Pest/Hira). Ookurikara has recently (8/03/15) become officially 'married' (He and Mitsu exchanged swords, which is the sword equivalent of a marriage ceremony) to Shokudaikiri Mitsutada. Kuri has also recently tried to patch things up with Heshikiri Hasebe. He has promised the other Uchigatana that he would try to be nicer/friendlier towards the other since the other has proven himself in Kuri's eyes by protecting Masamune, Mitsu, and Oshu while Kuri was away on his mission to find and rescue Kojuro. There will be times Kuri will backslide, but overall, he's making a huge effort to be nicer to Hasebe and include the other in things. Perhaps in time the two might become friends, but then again, perhaps not. The two do have an understanding however, especially when it comes to Mitsutada. A sword originally belonging to Oda Nobunaga, whom somehow ended up in Masamune's hands. [Historically accurate or not remains to be debatable, but in Pockettu that's how things went~] He is good friends with Mitsutada and was once the former lover of the one-eyed sword. As a result this puts him at odds with Ookurikara to the point of rivalry. Hasebe is the type of sword who becomes so attached and devoted to his current master he will do whatever is asked of him. So, what do you need cut apart? Burned? Killed? Originally an Imperial Treasure. Emperor Oogimachi presented it to Ashikaga Yoshiaki, then it went into the hand of Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. It was said that he was named Nihongou during the time he belonged to Hideyoshi. There is also a theory that he was actually a tachi which is so good for thrusting that he ended up getting put as a spearhead. The spear was bestowed upon Fukushima Masanori due to his achievement during the attack to Nirayama Castle (Siege of Odawara). He came into the possession of Kuroda clan as Fukushima had a drinking game against Mori Tahei, a chief vassal of the family, with Nihongou as the stake. After that, he went to different hands until eventually presented to the Kuroda clan. He knows Hasebe from his time in Oda Nobunaga's hands and then later their both belonging to the Kuroda clan. Nihongou loves his sake. So much so that he carries a jug of it around with him everywhere. Hasebe constantly comments on the fact that he reeks of alcohol. Nihongou doesn't really care what the Uchigatana thinks. The two have a history of making threats to break eachother, although neither of them have actually tried following through with that yet. Nihongou, when he's looking to get on Hasebe's nerves, will intentionally call him by his given name, Heshikiri, knowing it bothers the blond greatly. He can be serious and helpful when he wishes to, but those times are very few and far between, except in regards to 3 Tantous Nihongou and Hasebe regard as their kids. Koku-ryu is one of Kojuro's two swords, the one that he named Black Dragon. Koku-ryu came into Kojuro's life later on, when Kojuro's own temper was under control in all things except when it came to anyone harming Lord Masamune or any of Lord Masamune's people. Koku-ryu works hard and doesn't take too kindly to anyone speaking badly about his Master, Kojuro, or Kojuro's lord, Masamune. He seeks to work alongside the other weapons in Masamune's own care, even if they find him annoying. Sanada Yukimura, loyal retainer to Takeda Shingen of clan Takeda. He wields two jūmonji-yari, which are cross spears. He regards Date Masamune as a worthy rival and has much respect for the one-eyed leader of Oshu, always eager to meet the other in battle to test his skills. Yukimura's hot-blooded and "battle-crazy" character contrasts strongly with the Oshu head's cool demeanor. In Yukimura's life battle is everything. His master and revered idol, to whom he's fanatically loyal, Takeda Shingen, is the commander of one of the strongest armies of the Sengoku. Shingen's method of educating Yukimura consists of punching him and giving him life lessons (always with battle metaphors). Another remarkable quality of his personality is also his respectful manner of speaking: always adding an honorific when addressing someone, e.g., -sama, or -dono. Yukimura's way of fighting is 100% "frontal", one-on-one, with no tricks or cheating. Has no inside voice, so is usually fairly loud in whatever he does. His favorite food is dango and he likes to eat sweet things. Usually doesn't go far without his mate. Sometimes accompanied by his two sons. Pest is the adopted daughter of Mitsutada and Ookurikara. She was basically dumped off in Ookurikara's arms when she was a baby and therefor calls Mitsutada Mama Mitsu and Ookurikara is Papa Kuri. Mitsutada and Ookurikara have changed her name to Hira, so that is what she answers by. She's a very loving little mischief maker, eager to learn how to fight like her daddies. She someday hopes to make the head of clan Date proud for taking her in as well. Pockettu that will eventually be involved - Tokugawa Ieyasu is a young man who has set out to unify Japan so as to deliver the peace he hopes to bring. He leads the Eastern Army against Ishida Mitsunari, who hates him for Hideyoshi's death. Ieyasu wishes to unite the country with his power of bonds. Ishida Mitsunari is forever loyal to his former lord, Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Upon Hideyoshi's death, Mitsunari swore vengeance. He will stop at nothing to see Ieyasu slain by his own sword. Leader of the Western Army, he looks to uphold the house of the Toyotomi and Hideyoshi's iron strong grip on all of Japan. He has also beaten Masamune in a duel once and does not remember the other's name. This has caused major conflicts between the One-Eyed Dragon and the fox of Mt.Sawa.

Day 1- Date Masamune gets a surprise! ((I'm counting all the way up to where they picked their room out as Day 1))
Masamune: -strolls on up, constantly hearing Oshu and his name being brought up- Ahn..? They're not missing. I have them right he- -goes to pat the hilts of his swords then looks shocked as there's four instead of six- ... -looks down to confirm the missing swords, frowning- Tch.... First Kojuro and now this. So uncool.
Ookurikara:: *sitting a few feet away from where Masamune strolled out from, watching with what appeared to be bored disinterest in his surroundings*
Masamune: "Ridiculous." -looking around and decides to go retrace his steps-
Mitsutada: -fussing with his bangs for a moment then looks up when he hears the frustration in Masamune's voice- ...? -wonders what his Lord's problem is since the swords in question are right here-
Ookurikara:: *raises an eyebrow slightly at Masamune's tone* Hmph.... *tilts his head slightly at Mitsutada as Masamune starts retracing his steps, then just shrugs and leans back against the wall, perfectly content it seemed to not be doing anything, his sword resting across his knees*
Mitsutada: -looks back at Ookurikara and gives a sad smile, can't help but feel sorry for their Lord and walks after Masamune- ...Masamune-sama.
Masamune: -stops when he hears his name- ..Hm? -turns around and sees Mitsutada- Who are you? -spots one of his swords- ...And why do you have my sword?
Mitsutada: -smiles warmly and kneels, bowing down- I'm Shokudaikiri Mitsutada. I can cut through bronze candlestick holders... Yeah... I'm that sword. I've been in your service for years... passed down to you by Oda Nobunaga. The other sword you are missing, Ookurikara, is over there. -slightly turns his head towards Kuri again and gives him a glare, as if telling him to get up and over here to pay respect to their lord-
Ookurikara:: *frowns at Mitsutada glaring at him, but sighs and gets up, walking over and adopting the same kneeling pose as Mitsutada* .... I'm Ookurikara. I don't have anything else to say.
Masamune: -looking at the two before him, eye narrowing a bit as he tries to figure out if they're being truthful, or playing along with some crazy story- Heh... Nice try. Return my swords to me and I will overlook this incident.
Mitsutada: We're right here, Masamune-sama...
Masamune: -steps closer to them and leans down, picking up the katanas- You're "crazy."
Ookurikara:: Tch. *reluctantly allows Masamune to take the sword from him, then folds his arms over his chest, left arm over right, a bit of his dragon tattoo showing*
Mitsutada: -allows Masamune to take the sword away and sits upright- ...Masamune-sama... It sounds "crazy" but it's true. Look closely at us and you will see the marks that prove our origins.
Masamune: -listening to Mitsutada as he eyes the tattoo on Ookurikara's arm- ... -glances at the katana that belongs to Kuri and flicks it open a bit from the sheath, seeing the dragon engraved in the metal- ...
Ookurikara:: *sighs* Masamune-sama, I really am Ookurikara. Your sword, Ookurikara. *pulls up the sleeve on his left arm to show off the entire tattoo (minus his shoulder. He'd have to take his shirt and coat off for that and he's not feeling up to putting in that much work to prove he is who he says.), which matches the carving on the blade in Masamune's hands* This is really your sword Shokudaikiri Mitsutada. *points at Mitsu*
Mitsutada: -nods- Oh and that's Sada-chan. Oh... sorry. I mean Taikogane Sadamune -smiling- He's still dormant.
Masamune: -looks at the sword Mitsutada referred to then looks back at them- ... -whistles- Either I'm losing it or I have the coolest swords. -blinks and looks at the katanas- Can you feel me holding you?
--
((...Masamune watch how you phrase things.))
((*tries to fight off snickering at Masamune's phrasing* *loses the fight and outright cackles* So bad. XD My mind hasn't found refuge in the gutter, no sireebob. *would attempt innocent whistle, but the cackling makes that impossible*))
Ookurikara:: *glances over at Mitsutada, preferring to let the more social of the two of them answer their master's question*
((xDDDDD Mind out of the gutter.))
Mitsutada: -looks at Kuri then back to Masamune, nodding- The swords are extensions of our bodies. Since we are prized possessions and have been around long enough... we've acquired a soul. So, please keep that in mind when wielding us, Masamune-sama. We will do our best to protect you.
Masamune: -has an unreadable expression on his face as he looks at the swords- ...
Mitsutada: Ah... If it is easier, you can continue to think of us only as swords. It will not change our view nor affect our efficiency. Isn't that right, Kuri-chan?
Ookurikara:: *scowls a bit at Mitsutada calling him Kuri-chan* You're a pain. Don't call me that. *grumbles, but it has no real bite to it* Tch... Yes, the candlestick slasher has it right.
Mitsutada: -pouts playfully- But Kuri-chan... -pout turns into a real frown when his name's meaning is mentioned- ....Not cool.
Masamune: -soon smirks a bit and reaches out, offering each of them their swords back- Quite the characters, aren't you? Time will tell if you're being honest... regardless, we're going to have one hell of a "party".
Ookurikara:: *accepts his sword back with a slight bow to Masamune, then glances over at Mitsutada* Tch.. The frown doesn't make you any cooler, you know. *his way of apologizing without making it seem like he's really apologizing*
Mitsutada: Thank you Masamune-sama... -accepts his sword and bows to Masamune- Huh...? -chuckles a bit and soon smiles again- Am I cooler now?
Masamune: -watching them for a few moments before reaching out and ruffling their hair- ...Heh.
Ookurikara:: *makes a half-hearted swat at the hand ruffling his hair rather than answering Mitsutada's question* ....
Mitsutada: -doesnt complain about the hair and calmly fixes his once the hand is pulled away-
Masamune: -is a bit amused at how opposite the swords are- So... -sits down in front of them- Tell me more about yourselves...
Ookurikara:: *blinks, thinking Masamune was asking more about his sword background, since he hadn't had a different form for very long* I'm the work of Hiromitsu of the Soushu school. My name comes from the Kurikara dragon carving on my blade. ...Other than that, there's nothing else for me to talk about. At any rate, I'm just a mumeitou.
Mitsutada: I'm the sword of the founder of the Osafune school, originally owned by Oda Nobunaga before being passed into your hands, Masamune-sama. Everything should be at its best as it would be uncool to be caught unprepared. I enjoy cooking, a trait I believe I might have picked up from you. Also, I do my best to get along with everyone. I even get along with Hasebe-kun, but we don't agree when we talk about our former lord. -shrugs his shoulders and gives a winning smile-
Masamune: -knew a good chunk of that already, at least the swords origins- I see. -looks at Ookurikara- ...Do you despise me for giving you that mark?
Ookurikara:: *blinks with slight surprise at the question and shakes his head* No, Masamune-sama. I don't despise you. Why would you think that?
Masamune: Ahn? You seem to dislike the fact you don't bear the name of your maker.
Mitsutada: -looks at Kuri with a slight smirk then hooks an arm over the other sword's neck, pulling him closer, giving him a playful noogie- Don't mind him, Masamune-sama... He's a distant one but I assure you he means well. Isn't that right, Kuri-chan~~?
Ookurikara:: *was about to reply to Masamune until Mitsutada yanked him closer and noogied him* Tch.... Knock it off. *pulls away from the other sword and punches him in the shoulder, not hard enough to hurt the other, but enough to hopefully get his point across, gives him a stern stare, then glances back to Masamune* I imagine you had your reasons for changing my appearance. I don't question that.
Mitsutada: Ouch... -rubs his shoulder, chuckling a bit-
Masamune: -raises a brow then smirks a bit- "Okay." As long as you don't hate me for it then I'll leave it at that. -nods and looks over at Mitsutada- You cook? I'd like to see who's the better cook sometime.
Mitsutada: -blinks- Ah... -scratches the back of his head- Can we simply just prepare a meal for each other and not judge? -doesn't want to cause any conflict between him and his lord-
Ookurikara:: *stares at the two of them, looking from Mitsutada to Masamune and back again* No, I don't hate you. *would probably ever have a hard time hating his master, to be honest, although he won't say that out loud anytime soon* .... *has nothing to say as to the cooking part*
Masamune: What? Scared I'm a better cook than you? -smirking-
Mitsutada: >xo;; ...Fine. You're on, Masamune-sama.
Masamune: Great. -gets up- "Let's party!" -heads on off to the kitchen-
Mitsutada: -gets up and goes to walk after their lord but stops and looks back at Kuri- Come along, Kuri-chan. You can be the judge. -smiles warmly at him-
Ookurikara:: *rolls his eyes a bit at Mitsu's nickname for him again, but gets up and follows after the two of them, finally getting around to fixing his hair from Masamune's hair ruffling and Mitsutada's noogying* Fine, fine. *lets just the tiniest hint of a smile cross his face before he goes back to his usual stern expression and heads into the kitchen, plopping himself down in one of the seats*
Masamune: Sashimi sound good to you? -looks at Mitsutada-
Mitsutada: Oh..? -smirks- Questioning my skills with a blade? Sounds perfect.
Masamune: Hah! -grins and gestures- Pick whatever fish you want. They were all caught earlier today.
Mitsutada: Hm... -steps closer to the basket and looks at the various fish, picks one out- This will do.
Masamune: -picks out his own fish and offers Mitsutada a knife- Here.
Mitsutada: I can't use my sword?
Masamune: -snickers a bit- "No."
Mitsutada: Alright. -w-
Ookurikara:: *chuckles just the slightest bit at Mitsutada's question, shaking his head a bit and propping his chin on one arm on the table as he watches the two of them*
Mitsutada and Masamune: -soon get to work preparing the fish, both of them being show-offs in their own rights, occasionally flipping the knife before proceeding with cutting or doing little tricks here or there-
Ookurikara:: *should have known the two of them couldn't resists showing off* ... Tch... Just don't hurt yourselves trying to be 'cooler' than the other. Otherwise I'll have to patch you up. *if that happened he'd probably end up slapping at least one of their injuries to drive in the point for the future*
Masamune: Hah -grinning- We'll be fine.
Mitsutada: -nods- Don't worry, Kuri-chan~
Both: -finish up slicing the fish and place the thinly sliced pieces on a small tray-
Masamune: Alright... who has a better eye for fish~? -offers the tray to Kuri-
[[Basically, they did a simple thing of sashimi which is just sliced fish. However, it's very finely sliced. So the thinner the better. A legit test of skill for a samurai I guess. xDD]]
Ookurikara:: *rolls his eyes and lets out a huff at his bangs at Mitsutada's pet name for him again, then blinks at the trays presented to him* Masamune-sama's looks to be sliced a bit thinner. *doesn't think Mitsutada did too bad a job either though, for not having his current form for very long*
Masamune: -smirks a bit at Mitsutada-
Mitsutada: -admittedly a bit let down by Kuri's statement but keeps a neutral expression- Ah, I'll just have to practice then.
Ookurikara:: *heaves a sigh, knowing Mitsutada had to have been feeling let down* Tch... Don't feel too bad. I mean, this is the first time you've really had a chance to make it, right...? Came fairly close to Masamune-sama's. He might not be so lucky to win next time. *hasn't eaten much of either dish, eying Masamune and Mitsutada and waiting to see if they sit down to eat as well or not*
Masamune: -chuckles and sits down- You two are close, huh? At least you look out for each other.
Mitsutada: -smiles at Kuri and sits down besides him, taking a piece and munches on it- Huh? Oh, Kuri-chan and I are good friends. Sada-chan too! But Sada-chan hasn't awoken yet... -frowns a bit and tilts his head- One day soon, I'm sure. -eyes a piece Kuri is currently holding and leans over, taking it from him with his teeth-
Masamune: Ahn..? Hm.. -looks down at his swords- I see... I guess if another sword goes missing, I'll know why. -shrugs his shoulders and chuckles at the two of them, watching them closely-
Ookurikara:: *had looked at Masamune again to answer, so didn't see Mitsutada steal the food he'd been about to eat* Tch... Someone has to make sure Mitsutada takes care of himself too. Too busy making sure everyone else is ok to worry about himself. *finally goes to eat and blinks at his now empty chopsticks* .... *frowns and glances at Mitsutada for a moment, then shrugs and grabs some more sashimi for himself, ignoring the use of the nickname for now*
Masamune: Good sword then. -nods and munches on some sashimi and closes his eyes- Hm.. there are empty rooms in the castle here if you wish to have your own. Normally both of you wouldn't be too far from my sleeping quarters but I understand if it is awkward.
Mitsutada: Huh..? I can look after myself... >x>; -sighs and blinks- I will sleep where-ever you wish me to, Masamune-sama. It matters not to me.
Ookurikara:: *snorts a bit at Mitsutada* You can, but you don't always do so without some prodding. *stops eating, chopsticks loaded with sashimi in the air as he blinks at Masamune* Eh? It doesn't matter to me where I sleep. Why do you think it would?
Mitsutada: -waves his hand and just fusses with his bangs a bit-
Masamune: Hm..? You're not exactly just swords anymore, Ookurikara.
Ookurikara:: *shrugs at that* Doesn't matter to me. I'll sleep wherever you put me. *goes back to eating*
Masamune: -gives a smile- Alright, I'll keep that in mind.
Mitsutada: -munches on some more food, looking at Kuri- Do you want to share a room?
Ookurikara:: *shrugs at the question* I don't hate the idea.
Mitsutada: Kuri-chan... that's not a convincing yes or a no. -frowns- I don't want to force you into sharing a room with me if you don't want to...
Masamune: -watching his swords, very curious to see how they interact, learning more about them in the process-
Ookurikara:: *frowns a bit* I would say no if I wasn't ok with it, but if that isn't convincing enough, fine, yes, I'll share a room with you, Mitsutada. *takes another bite* And didn't I say earlier that frowning looked uncool on you..?
Mitsutada: -smiles a bit- That's all I needed to hear, Kuri-chan. -chuckles and places his hands together as if pleading- I'm sorry!
Masamune: -chuckles- Now since that's settled, shall I allow you two to pick your room?
Ookurikara:: Tch. Don't apologize. *waves a hand at Mitsutada, then turns his attention back to Masamune* Mitsutada can pick, but I'll go too.
Mitsutada: -nods and looks at Masamune- Masamune-sama, is there any with a clear view of the sky...?
Masamune: The sky? Hm... I know a few. Come with me. -places his chopsticks down and gets up- Why the sky?
Mitsutada: ...I like gazing at the moon. -gives a warm smile-
Ookurikara:: *places his chopsticks down as well and stands, giving a slight nod as Mitsu gives his reason*
Mitsutada: -gets up from his place and follows Masamune-
Masamune: -leads them down the hall- The night sky is beautiful. There's a few rooms built in mind of having a nice view of outside. Some for defense purposes, others for aesthetics. -stops in front of one room, sliding open the door- Have a look around and see if you like this one. It leads out to the garden. Across the garden, you'll find the door to my room.
Ookurikara:: *trails along behind the two of them, taking in his surroundings as he goes, then he steps into the room and looks around at Masamune's invitation to do so*
Mitsutada: -walks in and looks around the room- Wow, it's really spacious...
Masamune: -smiles a bit and leans against the door frame, arms crossed over his chest, letting them take their time to decide, meanwhile thinking of other rooms that could suit their liking-
Ookurikara:: *looks over the room some more, then peers out at the garden briefly before glancing at Mitsutada to see what he thought of the room*
Mitsutada: -heads out into the garden and looks around, stopping to look at the distance between the room and what is Masamune's room- Hm... I like it. -smiles- What do you think Kuri-chan? -waves over to him-
Masamune: -can't help but smile watching the swords-
Ookurikara:: *nods* Yeah, I like it. Close enough that you can call on us if you need aid, Masamune-sama, yet far enough that we aren't underfoot. *seems to think a bit more and adds* The garden is nice too.
((Of course that would be what Ookurikara would be thinking of, how much trouble it would be to get to where Masamune needed him XD))
[[Yes yes makes sense to me xDD Swords live to protect their masters after all~]]
Masamune: -quirks a brow as he pushes off the door frame and strolls into the room- Then this room belongs to the two of you. I will know where to go if I need you both for any marches. -nods- Do you two require anything? You can spruce up the place as much as you'd like.
Mitsutada: -heading back inside and blinks- Hm..? -looks at Kuri- Can you think of anything?
Ookurikara:: *bows a bit at Masamune, then glances around the room once more* A futon or two. I suppose we'll need more changes of clothes and a place to put them too so long as we have these forms.
Mitsutada: -nods- That should be about it. No need to pamper us. -chuckles-
Masamune: Very well. I'll have some of my servants bring in the required things. Until then... shall we go get you two fitted for clothes? -looks at Kuri- You'd probably fit into some of mine if you'd like. But you, -looks at Mitsu- You're taller than me, Mitsutada. I wouldn't have much that fits you properly.
Ookurikara:: *blinks a bit at that, then gives a small nod* If it makes things easier for you, Masamune-sama, then yes, I think I'd like that. *eyes Mitsutada, who was taller than himself by about a head, while Masamune was taller than Ookurikara by a couple inches*

Day 1 Cont.
Mitsutada: Hm...? -steps over and stands side by side with his lord, looking at Masamune then down at himself, chuckling- It should fit well enough -smiles- I'm not much taller than you.
Masamune: Ahn..? Very well. -smirks- Then pick out what the two of you wish to wear. -heads on out back into the hallway, leading them the long way so they can see more of the castle, stops when they pass a servant and tells them to bring two futons and some other things to furnish the room, before heading off to his room-
Ookurikara:: *again falls in behind and to the right of Masamune and Mitsutada as they head out of the room, keeping note of any other doorways and hallways as they go. Wouldn't do to get himself lost, after all, as he wouldn't be likely to ask for help in finding his way back*
Mitsutada: -walking behind Masamune slightly, gazing around as they walk, occasionally stopping to get a better look at items that catch his eye then hurries up to catch up- Masamune-sama, you have a very nice collection.
Masamune: Hah. Of course. Only the best can be in Oshu. -smirks- We are the best after all. None shall ever surpass the dragon!
Mitsutada: Yeah!
Ookurikara:: *eyes Masamune and Mitsutada and gives just the barest rolling of his eyes, whether in irritation or amusement at their antics, then he gives Mitsutada a tiny nudge in his side* You are almost exactly like Masamune-sama in personality. *glances back and forth between the two again* And looks. You could almost be a Masamune-sama clone. Very cool. *mutters the last bit with a faint smirk before going back to seeming uninterested in what's going on around him*
Masamune: Ahn..? -smirks a bit and looks at Kuri- There's some days we would be similar, Ookurikara. I'm sure if Kojuro were here he would spot every similarity in a heart beat.
Mitsutada: Ah... -eye widens a bit, feeling a blush rise on his cheeks- ..Kuri-chan... -soon smiles and hooks an arm around Kuri's neck again, pulling him in closer, so happy right now-
Masamune: -watching them and laughs a bit-
Ookurikara:: *blinks a bit at Masamune, then shrugs slightly* I suppose, if you say so, Masamune-sama. *pulled a bit off balance by Mitsutada hooking an arm around him, flails a bit as he tries to regain his balance so he doesn't fall into Mitsutada, then frowns just a bit at the other, although Mitsutada would be able to tell he wasn't really angry or upset* Tch... You can be such a pain sometimes. *has a slightly affectionate tone in his voice*
Mitsutada: -just smiles warmly at Kuri then lets go, reaching out to fix the other's hair for him a bit- There.
Masamune: -shakes his head a bit and heads on off towards his room, sliding open the doors when they get there and approaches where he keeps his clothes- Go on, help yourselves.
Ookurikara:: *follows Masamune as soon as Mitsutada lets him go and fixes his hair, then glances at the clothes, picking a few things that he didn't think Masamune wore too often*
Mitsutada: -follows after Kuri and carefully looks through the clothes, picking out a small selection of things he thinks would look nice on him and aren't too prized by Masamune- This okay?
Masamune: -nods- Consider them yours.
Ookurikara:: *glances at the small selection of things he'd picked* And these...? *had gone more for comfort than looks, so had a small array of clothes that could be worn for either lounging or working in*
Masamune: Their yours as well. -smirks-
Mitsutada: Hm..? -leans over to see what Kuri picked out and gets an unamused expression- Kuri-chan! How many times do I need to tell you that you need more style and flair in your attire. You shouldn't dress irresponsibly. We are prized swords of Masamune-sama, we must always look our best. Not like we just rolled out of bed!
Masamune: -eyes widen, blinks then cracks up laughing-
Ookurikara:: Thank you, Masamune-sama. *scowls at Mitsutada's scolding* How I dress is my own business. I don't need you nagging at me about style and flair. I don't care if I look 'cool' or not. So long as it's functional, comfortable, and not expensive to replace if damaged in a fight or anything, I don't care. *raises an eyebrow at Masamune's sudden cracking up laughing* Well, at least Masamune-sama is amused by your mothering.
Mitsutada: -glares at Kuri- Mothering? Ookurikara, I think of the well being of others and our lord. I want nothing more than for us to be the foundation of Masamune-sama's success. Every aspect counts. Our mannerisms, our appearances, our skills. Sorry for caring. -looks away, obviously flustered with Ookurikara's constant slacking-
Masamune: -quiets down, chuckling a bit before sighing- ...You two sound just like Kojuro and I. I couldn't help but laugh.
Ookurikara:: *sighs, feeling a bit bad for upsetting Mitsutada; the use of his full name was proof he'd upset the other* ..... *raises a hand up, contemplates attempting to ruffle Mitsutada's hair, then decides against it and just lets his hand fall back at his side* Fine, fine... I'm sorry... You pick something else out for me then, hrm? Just... nothing that'll require alot of time to put on.... Otherwise I'll have to have help. *blinks and looks over to Masamune* Ah? Is that a good or bad thing, Masamune-sama?
Masamune: I would think a good thing. -smiles and looks from Ookurikara to Mitsutada- ...
Mitsutada: -sighs and doesn't look at Kuri- ...No. I know you won't wear what I pick. I'm sorry. It was wrong of me to try and force you into something other than what makes you comfortable. Forgive me, Masamune-sama. -bows to his lord- I need a few minutes to myself. -steps outside of the room and walks down the hallway, biting his bottom lip- ...That was really uncool of me...
Masamune: ...Ahn..? Very well... -watches Mitsutada leave then looks at Ookurikara- ...Is everything okay?
Ookurikara:: *blinks, surprised when Mitsutada speaks again and leaves the room* I'm not sure... *is torn between giving Mitsutada his space and going after him to see if he's really ok and making no effort to hide that* I... I'll be back, Masamune-sama. I.. apologize for the trouble. *hurries after Mitsutada, attempting grab the others right wrist when he manages to catch up* Wait up.
Masamune: Hm..? -nods- Take your time. -watches Ookurikara leave then looks at the clothes they picked, folding them neatly and gives a small smile- They're going to be a handful... -chuckles- Karma, eh, Kojuro?
Mitsutada: -snapped out of his thoughts when he feels someone touch his wrist, turning to see what it is and releases the tension in his shoulders upon hearing Kuri's voice- ....Why did you come after me? You should be with Masamune-sama. -looks a bit concerned- Did something happen?
Ookurikara:: *frowns at Mitsutada* Tch... Idiot. *idiot is said with some fondness* I came after you because we're partners, aren't we? *sighs and glances at his feet* Look, I know I was a stubborn a**. I'm sorry. And I never said I wouldn't wear what you picked out. *looks back up at Mitsutada* You should be with Masamune-sama too, you know. >_> And that's what I want to know, did something happen besides our usual bickering to set you off?
Mitsutada: Ah... -feeling foolish now and looks away- ...Kuri-chan... I... -sighs and shakes his head- No, never mind. I... simply didn't feel like myself. Needed a moment to clear my mind before I made a bad impression. -chuckles and smiles one of his usual warm smiles- Thank you for coming here. Shall we return to Masamune-sama together?
Ookurikara:: *brow scrunches up slightly as Mitsutada starts to say something, then says to never mind* Alright, I know when to stop prying. Although I doubt you could have made much of a bad impression on Masamune-sama, if that's what you're really worried about. *gives one of his rare small smiles and nods, tugging at the wrist he still held* Come on then. We left Masamune-sama to fold our clothes after all. That wasn't very 'cool' of either of us. *lets go of Mitsutada's wrist and waits for the other to start walking before he falls in step beside him*
Mitsutada: You're right... -smiles more at seeing Kuri actually smile for once- You know Kuri-chan... You look really nice when you smile. -soon follows after him- Ah... I just thought you should know that. That's all. -getting a bit nervous-
Masamune: -had already brought the clothes to the room the swords chose as their own and is back in his own room, sitting down, simply relaxing-
Ookurikara:: *blinks a bit at that, then shrugs slightly* If you say so, Mitsutada... *knocks on the frame of the door when they get back to Masamune's room*
Mitsutada: -nods and waits for Kuri to knock- Masamune-sama, we've returned.
Masamune: -looks up towards the door- Come in.
Ookurikara:: *opens the door and waits for Mitsutada to enter before closing the door behind them, then gives a bow to Masamune*
Mitsutada: -enters the room and bows before Masamune-
Masamune: Seems like you both got it sorted out. -motions for them to sit- Care to join me?
Mitsutada: -nods and walks over, sitting down across from Masamune- Sorry about that. Everything has been taken care of. -smiles-
Ookurikara:: *walks over and sits as well, nodding in agreement* Sorry.
Masamune: "Good". Your clothes are in your room.
Mitsutada: Ah... Thank you Masamune-sama.
Ookurikara:: Thank you Masamune-sama, although I would have taken care of it when I got back, whether I'd caught up to Mitsutada or not.
Masamune: Heh...I know. It's fine. -soon lays down on his side and props his head up with his hand- It's still foreign to me to see my swords as people before my eyes.
Mitsutada: -chuckles- It's unusual for us as well.
Ookurikara:: *nods* It's definitely strange to be like this. Do you think this is a permanent change, Masamune-sama?
Masamune: Ahn..? I'm not sure. If I knew where to find the Crane Princess, I would ask her. But I haven't heard any reports of her appearance. Hopefully that b*****d isn't keeping her locked up somewhere. -sneers a bit at the mention of Mitsunari-
Mitsutada: ... -looks down at the floor and smiles sadly- I hope it's permanent...
Ookurikara:: *glances over at Mitsutada and ruffles his hair for a moment, then shrugs* I suppose there's no use worrying about it, so we might as well enjoy it for as long as we can. I shouldn't have brought it up. If we ever find this 'Crane Princess' we can ask her then.
Mitsutada: -blinks when his hair is ruffled- H-hey..! -frowns and quickly fixes his bangs, chuckling-
Masamune: Hmm... Yes. For now though, I'm not going to worry about it. -sighs and rolls over onto his back and stares up at the ceiling- I've lost my desire to do much as of late. Perhaps you two are the Gods way of telling me to start soaring again. A dragon of my standard can't stay grounded for long. -smirks- Right... we should pay the b*****d a visit anyways. I owe him one for that humiliating defeat.
---- Mitsunari: -sitting by himself, enjoying a bowl of miso soup and soon sneezes- ...Whomever is talking about me better cut it out... -sneezes again and starts grumbling-
----
Ookurikara:: *thinks for a moment, then nods* I'll go with you, if it helps any. I'm sure Mitsutada would as well.
Mitsutada: Anywhere you require us to go, we shall go with haste, Masamune-sama. Preferably by your side to ensure your safety.
Masamune: Hah! You two are too overprotective. -sits up and shakes his head- ..As much as I want to give that b*****d the beating he deserves, I need to think of the well-being of Oshu... -sighs and closes his eyes- ...Hm...
Mitsutada: If you are feeling the need to go on a journey, why not visit a friend? -smiles-
Masamune: A friend? -sighs and opens his eye, looking at Mitsutada- ...I could go see how Ieyasu is doing in Mikawa. Or see Sanada Yukimura.
Ookurikara:: *frowns a bit at being called overprotective* Tch... That aspect of me won't be changing anytime soon, Masamune-sama. Better get used to it. >_>

A week later - We're off to see the Yukiderp! ((Ahahaha... That's a horrible title. OHWELL.))
Masamune: -has been traveling from oshu to kai with his swords in tow, eventually getting to the gates- Tell Sanada Yukimura that Date Masamune has arrived. -looks at one of the guards, not bothering to get off his horse-
Sanada Yukimura:: *had been training with his sons Erramun and Cyhnard when one of the guards came racing back to tell him who was at the gates* Eh? Date Masamune-dono is here? *dodges his sons combined lunge and signals an end to the training* We're done for now, boys. *watches them head back inside with a grin, then heads towards the gates* Oi, DATE MASAMUNE-DONO. It has been a long time since we've last seen eachother. *smiles and steps forward, motioning for the guards to let Masamune and the two with him in* Come in, come in.
Ookurikara:: *rode at Masamune's right, a habit he'd picked up from subconsciously walking at Mitsutada's right side, his usual scowl on his face as they rode up*
Masamune: -waiting, arms crossed over his chest, staring straight ahead at the gates and soon sees them open- Ah... -smirks- Sanada Yukimura... It has been too long. Heh... -gets off of his horse and walks it inside the gates-
Mitsutada: -calmly glancing around to get a better view of their surroundings and follows Masamune's lead, getting off his horse as well and heads inside with them- ...
Ookurikara:: *dismounts off the horse and follows Masamune and Mitsutada's lead*
Yukimura:: *waits until Masamune and the two with him are inside and their horses settled, then grins widely and motions towards the keep* Would you and your friends like some tea, Masamune-dono? *stops in his tracks as he finally gets a look at Mitsutada, glancing from Mitsutada to Masamune and back again* Ahn... Forgive me for any possible insolence, Masamune-dono, but that young man there. Is he your son? Or brother? He looks very much like you.
Masamune: -runs a hand along his horse's mane to calm it down before walking towards Yukimura, stopping to look at Mitsutada and simply smirks- Ahn? I wonder... -purposely teasing Yukimura as he walks past him and towards the keep-
Mitsutada: -feels honored to be compared to his lord in such a way but picks up on the playful tone in Masamune's voice, resisting the urge to reply about who he is- Thank you for allowing us to visit. -bows to Yukimura before catching up to his lord-
Ookurikara:: *also bows slightly to Yukimura, then hurries to catch up with Masamune and Mitsutada, looking around as he went*
Yukimura:: *pouts just slightly as Masamune evades answering his curiousity, then smiles brightly at Mitsutada as the other spoke and walks ahead to where Masamune is* Would you and your friends prefer to sit inside or out in the gardens, Masamune-dono? *introductions could wait, he supposed, until they got seated where Masamune would feel more comfortable*
Masamune: It's a nice day. It would be a shame to waste it inside. Can you bring us to the gardens, Sanada Yukimura? -looks at him then looks at his swords- ...I'll introduce them when we're in a more private setting. Forgive my rudeness.
Mitsutada: -gives a smile and just remains by Kuri's side for now-
Yukimura:: *grins and nods* As usual, you are right about the weather, Date Masamune-dono. *blinks curiously in Mitsutada and Ookurikara's direction again, then waves his hands a bit at the apology* Haha, no need to apologize, Masamune-dono. I should have remembered my manners and waited until we were all seated and comfortable before giving in to my curiosity. The gardens are this way. *leads the three to the gardens and koi pond, motioning for his unexpected guests to sit* I shall go and get the cups and tea. If it is privacy you require, Masamune-dono, then this is one way I can ensure you have it. *nods, then quickly turns and races inside, where a few crashes and startled yelps can be heard in the direction he went* *comes back minutes later with a tray with four tea cups, some sweets, and the pot of tea, setting it down before pouring some tea in each of his guests cups, starting with Masamune's and ending with his own* So, Date Masamune-dono, what does bring you all the way here to Kai from Oshu?
Ookurikara:: *waits for Masamune and Mitsutada to pick their seats before he sits* ....
((XD I'm just going to say he pretty much ran over his boys, who were being nosey and trying to be not so successful sneaky stealth ninjas to spy on their parental figure's friend and rival.))
Masamune: -nods in thanks to Yukimura and takes his seat across from where he knows Yukimura would sit, motions for his swords to sit down on either side of him-
Mitsutada: -sits down on Masamune's left side and blinks when he hears the crashes, cringing a bit at some of the yelps- ...Is this normal, Masamune-sama?
Masamune: Hm? Everything is "O.K". -grins-
Mitsutada: -shrugs his shoulders and smiles- Alright.
Masamune: -looks up when Yukimura returns and thanks him again with another nod as the tea is served- Ahn? Being cooped up in Oshu all this time has given me a bit of wanderlust. Kojuro went missing and any hopes I've had for contact him have been diminished. -brings a hand up in a stop motion- Before you say anything, "I'm over it". -lowers his hand-
Ookurikara:: *had at first put his hand to the hilt of his katana as he sat on Masamune's right side at the commotion, but at Masamune's assurance that it was ok, he slowly takes his hand off his weapon and watches the whirlwind of red that was Yukimura fill up their tea cups shortly after* .... >__>;
Yukimura:: *was smiling at first, until Masamune mentioned Kojuro was missing. When the other holds up a hand to stop him from speaking for a moment, he nods in understanding* Very well, Masamune-dono. I won't ask about Kojuro-dono. Other than that and being cooped up, you seem to be well. *he smiles again* I am honored, Masamune-dono, that you thought to stop by here in your wandering. *had noticed Ookurikara's hand on his weapon earlier and grins apologetically* And forgive me for earlier's commotion. I had to remind my sons that it is not nice or polite to eavesdrop where they weren't invited. They are good boys, just forgetful of manners at times. *sips at his tea for a moment* So are you just here for a short time, Masamune-dono, or would you and your friends like to rest here for a while before you go wherever you were planning next?
Masamune: -brings his tea cup to his lips, pausing a moment before taking a sip- I'll leave it up to them on how long we stay. -looks at his swords- Speaking of which... Introduce yourselves.
Mitsutada: I am Shokudaikiri Mitsutada. A sword created by the founder of the Osafune school. Your spears have met my blade before in battle, Sanada Yukimura. -bows respectfully-
Ookurikara:: >__> ... I'm Ookurikara. I'm a sword of Hiromitsu of the Soushu school. Also met your spears in battle. *sips at his tea, still with his usual 'do not approach me' expression on*
Yukimura:: *blinks at the swords, then laughs a bit* You are playing a joke on me, are you not, Masamune-dono? Or... are these two really two of your blades? *stares wide-eyed at them, flicking from one to the other*
Masamune: Ahn? Would I kid about something like this? They are two of my beloved claws. -smirking and places his tea cup down- They're part of the reason why I came here.
Mitsutada: -takes a sip of his tea and smiles behind the cup, looking intently at Kuri for awhile, as if trying to remind him not to look so grouchy-
Ookurikara:: *if anything, Mitsutada's non-verbal reminder made him scrunch his face up into an even more unfriendly scowl as he crosses his arms over his chest and eyes Mitsutada out of the corner of his eye, daring the other to say something*
Yukimura:: Ah, no, you would not joke with me like that, Masamune-dono. *bows his head quickly* I apologize. *glances back at the two swords* You two are certainly polar opposites, it would appear. *looks back at Masamune with a grin* Their appearance must have been some surprise. But how are they the reason you are here? *tilts his head a bit in confusion*
Mitsutada: -furrows a brow but soon smiles wider, staring intently at Ookurikara, soon deciding to go another route and sticks his tongue out at the other sword quickly before giving him an innocent look-
Masamune: Yes, they are quite the odd couple, "you see". -smirks and nods- I couldn't leave you out of this "party" and figured you'd like to meet the swords in which you've fought so many times before.
Ookurikara:: *casts a quick glance at Masamune and Yukimura* .... *seeing them involved in their own conversation now and not seeming to be watching what he and Mitsutada are doing, quirks a brow at Mitsutada before sticking his tongue back out at the other for a second before going back to his normal scowl, hiding it behind his cup as he takes another sip of tea, then finally reaches for some of the food Yukimura had brought out, snatching up a rice ball to nibble on*
Yukimura:: *grins and nods* Do you think your others will come to life as well, Masamune-dono?
Mitsutada: -places his hand to his lips to stifle a bit of laughter, looking away before joining Kuri in eating some food-
Masamune: -casts a quick glance at his swords, completely missed what was going on- Hm..? You've heard of the tale that once an item reaches 100 years, it acquires a soul? If these two awoken, I can only imagine it is possible others will. Mitsutada has mentioned a... "Sada-chan." The only sword of mine which fits is Taikogane Sadamune. -sips his tea- "Pretty cool". -smirks- I wonder if your spears will awaken?
Ookurikara:: *smirks just the tiniest bit since he'd made Mitsutada look away*
Yukimura:: *blinks a bit at that* Interesting that they seem to know the names of or have nicknames for the others already. *puts a hand to the back of his head and laughs a bit* Ah.. I don't think that will happen, Masamune-dono. Unless I have a pair of spears put away somewhere that were in Oyakata-sama's family for generations.
Mitsutada: -munching on a riceball when he hears Yukimura comment on how they know each other already- Hm..? We fight along side each other. I do not know why we wouldn't know one another. Kuri-chan and I are partners. -smiles over at Kuri- Right?
Masamune: You never know, Sanada Yukimura. -smirks and watches his swords-
Ookurikara:: *nods at Mitsutada's asking if they were partners, taking a giant bite of rice ball so he doesn't have to verbally answer*
Yukimura:: *shoots an apologetic smile at Mitsutada* Ah, that wasn't quite what I meant, Mitsutada-dono. I am still trying to grasp the idea of you two being swords and forming bonds and nicknames and communicating with eachother in that state, I guess. I wonder if I do have a set of spears that would be near that age... They last longer now than they did when we were always meeting on the field of battle, in any case.
Mitsutada: -smiles warmly at Kuri then looks at Yukimura and shakes his head- It's a form of silent communication... With each clash and scrape, we can hear how another blade is fairing. For example, you have nicked Kuri-chan twice with your spears. When we are at rest we listen to what is going on around us. It is how we know who you are, Sanada Yukimura. -looks at Masamune- Also we can gauge how our master is wielding us as well. When tired, we notice the impacts are more blunt and dull. When he is fired up, the strength behind each cut is renewed and at times accuracy is affected. -chuckles- Ah... no offense, Masamune-sama...
Masamune: None taken. -shakes his head and tilts his head curiously, looking at Kuri- ...May I see your sword? -wants to see for himself how accurate Mitsutada is being-
Ookurikara:: *nods at Masamune's request and unhooks the sword from his waist, handing it over to Masamune before grabbing himself another rice ball to nibble on*
Yukimura:: *eyes go wide at that and glances at Ookurikara and wonders if injuries the swords gained before now carried over to their current forms too, but wasn't sure how to ask that* That's pretty amazing.
Masamune: -unsheathes the katana and inspects it closely, running his finger gently along the sharp side of the blade, feeling the nicks Mitsutada talked about- ... -whistles- Spot on with the amount too... I must have blocked a full on assault from your spears to have gotten these.
Mitsutada: -smiles and finishes up his own rice ball, wiping the corners of his mouth when done- Is there anything else you two would like to know?
Masamune: -decides to test Kuri's knowledge and looks at him- ...Mitsutada here seems to know what's happened to you. Do you know anything that has happened to him in battle?
Ookurikara:: Mitsutada's has a long shallow scratch down one side of his blade from one time when you were wielding all six of us at once to block the spears. You two *glances from Masamune to Yukimura and back* very nearly stabbed eachother in the throats.
Yukimura:: *just watching at the moment as Masamune questions his swords, still intrigued by the entire scene*
Masamune: -sheathes the katana he's currently holding and offers it back to Ookurikara- Hm... -looks at Mitsutada- May I?
Mitsutada: -offers his sword to his lord, nodding-
Masamune: -unsheathes the other katana and inspects the blade in a similar fashion but instead running his fingers along the side- ...I see. "Correct." It's fascinating you two know that much from just fighting along side one another.
Ookurikara:: *accepts his sword back and hooks it back at his waist* ... *falls silent again*
Yukimura:: That's amazing! You two seem to pay very close attention to how you are treated and used in battle.
Masamune: -sheathes the katana and returns it back to Mitsutada, nodding in agreement with Yukimura- I'll have to remember not to mistreat you then.
Mitsutada: -takes his sword once its returned and places it by his side- Hm..? Do not treat us any different than you have. We live to serve you, Masamune-sama. -smiles and looks at Yukimura- Do you have any questions for us, Sanada Yukimura?
Ookurikara:: *snorts softly at Masamune* You treat us just fine, Masamune-sama. No need to go easy on us just because of what you know now. It isn't your style to go easy on anyone. *helps himself to some more tea*
Yukimura:: *thinks for a moment, then shakes his head* I cannot think of anything to ask, Mitsutada-dono. However, I'm sure Masamune-dono will have lots of questions the longer you two are with him. *glances at Masamune* Right?
Masamune: Ahn? Hah. You're right. -smirks at Kuri then crosses his arms across his chest- I cannot imagine not having more questions for them as time goes on. -pauses a moment- Sanada Yukimura, how have things been here with the absence of Lord Shingen?
Mitsutada: -simply smiles and reaches out, taking another rice ball and munches on it contently- -w-
Ookurikara:: *goes back to his silent scowling after nodding at Masamune saying he was right*
Yukimura:: Peaceful. I make sure the troops stay in shape and practice, but overall, we have not been attacked in quite some time. Those not part of the army have been relieved to not lose any family to battle for the past while. Ideally, I think this is the type of atmosphere Oyakata-sama would be proud of, so I am doing my best to keep it so until his return. And Oshu? I imagine it is peaceful enough for you that that is why you felt comfortable leaving it with just your swords here?
Masamune: -nods- Yeah. Just my b*****d uncle causing problems. But... I've dealt with it for now. It will be a few more weeks before he climbs out of the hole he was left in. -shrugs his shoulders as if it were nothing grave he was talking about- Have you heard any word from any of the other warlords?
Mitsutada: -fixes his bangs a bit and just watches Kuri for awhile, thinking about how he could get the other to look a bit more friendly off the battlefield-
Ookurikara:: *raises an eyebrow slightly when he notices Mitsutada just watching him, crossing his arms over his chest and staring back*
Yukimura:: Ieyasu-dono is dealing with the same in Mikawa, last I heard. I have not really spoken with any other warlords in quite some time. Perhaps I should ride out sometime and take a look for myself at the state of other areas besides Kai.
Mitsutada: -winks at Ookurikara, giving him a winning smile-
Masamune: -kinda has tuned out whatever his swords are doing for the moment, more interested in his conversation with his rival- I'm surprised that fox b*****d hasn't torn down the gates to Mikawa yet trying to get in. -sneers a bit as he speaks about Mitsunari- It's good if Lord Ieyasu is having peace. -sighs- It is unsettling though that there's such a long span of it... Don't you agree? The land isn't unified. Someone is going to decide they are fit to rule and we'll be thrown into chaos again.
Ookurikara:: *rolls his eyes at Mitsutada, then focuses his attention back on Masamune and Yukimura's conversation* ...?
Yukimura:: He is probably biding his time. I think the peace so far is good in regards to Ieyasu-dono and Mitsunari-dono. The two were best friends in the past, after all. I am hopeful that perhaps the hatred Mitsunari-dono feels towards Ieyasu-dono has dimmed. I am doubtful that will ever happen, but it is good to have hope. *also sighs* I do understand the unsettling feeling for so long a time of peace with no one unifying rule, Masamune-dono. That is why I have made it my job to try to make sure the army here at Kai is kept in shape, both the soldiers and the equipment, just in case someone does decide to throw us all into war once more.
Masamune: Tch... Something tells me there's no redemption in that b*****d. -shakes his head- It's best to be prepared. Luckily for us my uncle has been up to "no good" so we've had plenty of "parties". He can "go to hell". -really can't stand his eccentric uncle and at times wishes they weren't family at all-
Mitsutada: -looks at them and shakes his head- If I may be so bold, Masamune-sama... Your uncle is very.... odd.. to put it politely. He obviously wants Oshu for his own selfish gains.
Masamune: -slams his hands down on the table, almost breaking it with the force- Hah! Over my dead body!
Ookurikara:: *snatches up his tea cup from the table as Masamune slams his hands down onto it, taking another sip and watches the other items on the table jostle with the force Masamune used* Tch... Just throw him off a cliff and be done with it. *mutters that about Masamune's uncle into his cup of tea*
Yukimura:: *startles a bit at the sudden violence to his table, then casts a wary glance at Ookurikara, hearing the muttered statement*
Masamune: Hah! I've tried. Kojuro's tried. He's like a bad itch that won't go away. -grumbling-
Mitsutada: If Hasebe-kun awakens, I suggest letting him take care of it. -smiles at Masamune- He's very good at taking lives. ...And burning buildings.
Ookurikara:: *scowls and mutters something into his tea once more, this time unintelligible and most likely about the previously mentioned Hasebe, then growls and snatches another rice ball off the table, taking a giant bite out of it* ....
Yukimura:: Ahuh... There is nothing that seems to work, Masamune-dono?
Masamune: -shakes his head- Tch... Sorry. Personal gripe. -looks at Yukimura- How are you and your sons doing? It's still "crazy" to think of you as a father.
Mitsutada: -looks over at Kuri, a concerned look on his face- ...?
Ookurikara:: *finishes off the rice ball and his tea, sets the cup back on the table, then turns a bit and stares at the koi pond nearby*
Yukimura:: I sincerely hope the problem is fixed for you soon, Masamune-dono. *blinks, then grins as the other asks about his kids* We are all doing well as could be expected, Masamune-dono. Their other father has been teaching them to use various swords and engineering type things while I train them in the use of spears. If Sasuke were here, I would probably have asked him to teach them to be ninjas, but he is traveling with Oyakata-sama. Ah... I can call them out here if you would like to meet them more formally Masamune-dono?
Masamune: Ah? I'd like that. I'm eager to meet the children of my rival. -smirks-
Mitsutada: -carefully gets up and soon sits down besides Kuri- ...? -looks at him, wanting to make sure everything is okay-
Yukimura:: *grins and stands up* I will return with the family in a bit then, Masamune-dono. I need to find where my boys are sulking since I got onto them earlier. *bows quickly and heads back inside, eventually enlisting the help of his mate, Guy, and comes back out, family in tow*
Guy Cecil:: *walks out behind Yukimura and eyes Masamune for a moment, giving the warlord a nod in greeting, then glances at Mitsutada and Ookurikara before cleaning things off the table* Welcome, Lord Masamune. I'll return shortly with some more tea. Or perhaps you'd like some coffee instead?
Cynhard:: *walks outside after Yukimura and Guy with a bit of a stumble in his step, looking like he was just woken from a nap as he yawns and attempts to put his hair into some form of order*
Erramun:: *is like an endless ball of energy, on the other hand, bouncing out after his parents and brother, bowing quickly and grinning* Welcome to our home, sir.
Yukimura:: *grins at his kids* Boys, this is Date Masamune-dono, the lord of Oshu.
Ookurikara:: *blinks and glances over as Mitsutada sits down* ...What? *glances over his shoulder*
Mitsutada: You seemed off. That's all. -gives him a small smile and remains besides him, soon seeing Yukimura return with three others- ...?
Masamune: -shakes his head at the offer for more tea or coffee- "No thanks." -looks at Yukimura then to his sons- Oh? So these are the tiger's cubs? -gets up and walks over towards them- Hah. I can see a lot of your father in you both.
Erramun:: *beams happily at hearing he resembled his dad and bows again* Ah.. I'm Erramun. Nice to meet you lord Masamune!
Cynhard:: *finally seems awake enough that he gives a quick bow* Cynhard. So you're the one-eyed dragon of Oshu that dad enjoys fighting with then?
Guy:: *lightly smacks the back of Cynhard's head at his curtness towards their guest, then bows to Masamune* We met once before briefly, if I remember correctly, Lord Masamune. I'm Guy Cecil. You'll have to excuse Cynhard, he tends to wake up grumpy if he doesn't have coffee first thing.
Yukimura:: *grins wider* Yeah, these are mine and Guy's sons. Erramun takes more after me, preferring using spears to any other weapon.
Ookurikara:: *shrugs slightly* I'm fine. It was nothing. *watching Yukimura introduce his family to their master and sighs slightly before muttering* I bet we're going to have to introduce ourselves again. This is such a pain in the a**.

A week later - We're off to see the Yukiderp! - CONT. ((Ahahaha... That's a horrible title. OHWELL.))
Masamune: Yo. -grins a bit- I'm Date Masamune, as you already know. Nice to meet you Erramun, Cynhard. -nods to Guy- Yes, we've met once or twice before. -looks at the boys- If you ever want a real challenge, I'd be up to seeing if you're anything like your father in a fight.
Mitsutada: -chuckles a bit and shakes his head- Kuri-chan, let Masamune-sama have his fun. We'll be back in Oshu soon enough.
Ookurikara:: *sighs again and mumbles* Never said Masamune-sama can't have his fun. I'm just not social like you, Mitsutada. *decides he's going to be stubborn and sit where he is unless Masamune specifically tells him to introduce himself again*
Guy::*just chuckles and shakes his head a bit as Masamune offers a challenge to his kids* Hahaha. Just give me a heads up before you officially challenge either my kids or Yukimura to a fight if you please, Lord Masamune. I have to make sure I have supplies ready to patch them up. You wouldn't believe how much we go through when Erramun and Yukimura decide to just let loose when they practice.
Erramun:: *seems to get happier, if that were even possible, after Masamune said he'd be up to fighting* Y-Yes sir Masamune-dono! I would be most interested and honored to fight with you.
Cynhard:: .... *does not exactly share his brother's excitement at the thought of a fight* I prefer not to fight unless given no choice, my lord. Practice is different.
Yukimura:: *grins again* Yes! Just say when, Masamune-dono!

Mitsutada: Kuri-chan, what am I going to do with you? -chuckles and reaches out, ruffling his hair gently but does fix it afterwords-
Masamune: -smirking at the youth's energy then looks over at Yukimura- Oh? I'll take you both on then. Right now.
Mitsutada: -gets a more serious expression on his face and looks back to where their lord is- Masamune-sama...

Yukimura:: *starts to smirk, then blinks and frowns, finally seeming to remember that Masamune didn't exactly have all 6 of his swords on his person* Are you going to be able to fight at your best, Masamune-dono? *glances at Masamune's waist, where two of the six are obviously not there, then glances over to Mitsutada and Ookurikara* Erramun:: *had bowed happily and taken off inside to go get his and Yukimura's spears* Cynhard:: *walks over to lean on the wall to watch the possible battle* Guy:: *already headed inside to get supplies for patching everyone up after the fight* Ookurikara:: Tch... Nothing? *doesn't complain though when the other ruffles his hair, but does frown in Masamune's direction* I don't think Masamune-sama is thinking clearly right now. *says in low tones to Mitsutada*

Masamune: Ahn..? "Of course." -looks down at his waist- Four should be enough. Unless if you don't mind one of my swords assisting me? Mitsutada: -shakes his head, whispering back to Kuri- No, I don't think so either.. He'll have to get used to being down to 4 swords... I could go and give him mine... I just don't wish him to worry when the wounds translate over to my body... -sighs- Or yours for that matter..

Yukimura:: *frowns a bit, thinking* We would not wish to accidentally cause you serious injury, Masamune-dono... Ookurikara:: *frowns* So we don't tell him that the injuries translate over. I'm not, anyway. *stands up and walks over, pulling the sword from his waist and holding it out to Masamune*

Mitsutada: ...Kuri-chan.... -sighs and mumbles what a pain Kuri can be sometimes and gets up, following after him, offering his sword as well to Masamune- Use us as you see fit, Masamune-sama. -smiles-
Masamune: Ahn..? -turns to the swords and grins- Heh. "Alright. Let's party!" -takes the swords and places them back on the appropriate holders on his waist- I hope you're ready, Sanada Yukimura.
Mitsutada: -bows respectively to his lord then gently tugs on Kuri's arm- Come on, Kuri-chan. Let's go sit down. -steps back and heads over to where they were sitting before, waiting until they're out of ear shot of the others to speak lowly to Kuri- Let's sit by the pond. It will be harder for Masamune-sama to see us wounded from afar.

Ookurikara:: *bows to Masamune as well and follows Mitsutada's tugging, then nods at the idea* Yeah. Back under the tree by that far wall there might be better. The shade should help too, right?
Yukimura:: *watches Masamune take the two swords back, then nods, accepting his spears from Erramun* So, one at a time, or both of us, Masamune-dono?
Erramun:: *also holding his spears*
Guy:: *finally out with the bandages and the like, sighing and sitting on the ground near where Cynhard is leaning* Well, I guess as long as they have fun and don't kill eachother, I shouldn't worry too much.

Mitsutada: -looks over to the area and nods- Good idea. -smiles at him and heads over there- As long as he doesn't break one of us we'll be fine. -gives a bit of a reluctant chuckle-
Masamune: -looks at Erramun then to Yukimura- I can handle two tigers. Come at me. -smirks and unsheathes Ookurikara's blade to begin with-

Ookurikara:: *nods, then heads over and sits down to watch the fight, motioning for Mitsutada to sit next to him* Yeah
Yukimura:: *nods, then charges at Masamune, slasing with both spears*
Erramun:: *charges as well, but puts the butt of one of his spears on the ground when he gets close enough, attempting to use it to help him aim a kick at Masamune's side*

Mitsutada: -sits down besides Ookurikara and places his hands behind him, leaning back, watching the fight-
Masamune: Heh... -ducks under Yukimura's spears and side steps to avoid Erramun, spinning around and slashes at the nearest of the two spear wielders-

Yukimura:: *jumps back and flips as Masamune ducks under his spear strike, raising both spears up in front of him as he lands in case Masamune had decided to pursue him*
Erramun:: *attempts to push off from the ground as his foot hits the ground, slashing in Masamune's direction with his other spear in an effort to keep it from hitting him as he was closest of the two*
