*shakes the dust from Edana's feathers and the guild*
There is a dragon that has caught the eye of one of the scouts in the area. It has been decided, that he needs to be subdued and captured for the Northspring Harpies! The dragon, is none other than
Brynjar, son of Smaug. Here is a thread to discuss the events that are to unfold with his involvement with the Northspring Harpies.
Please feel free to toss out ideas for plots, or join for participation where desired.
Acquiring The Prize: This will require careful planning and an armored tactical force. Everyone is welcome to participate! We can use NPCs to aid in the battle too. So far, the participants are Edana Hatetalon, Xana Hatetalon, and Bloodclaw. Xana will be removing her armor, then using the power of seduction to bait him into an area with terrain favorable to our mares. A rocky terrain perhaps, with trees, to prevent easy flight for the beast they mean to subdue. They can have her at the end of a tunnel of trees, created by tying branches to enclose the canopy ahead. Or in a cave area. The grounds are full of them. Unawares to the dragon that it's a trap. By the time he gets close enough to check her out, it will be too late!
The Pit: Bloodclaw will have her claws full. As part fire suti, even she will be caught unawares when she learns that Brynjar can manipulate fire. The karst is covered with torches after all... (Mind can edit in more.) Brynjar can't speak, but will thrash around, beating his tail as much as he can, making life difficult for his captors as best he can!
Discovering Favorites: In order to manage Brynjar a little easier, the sisters will need to find out the foods and things that keep him content. Intentionally, the harpies will have meals in front of him. Perhaps quail, or a red snapper for instance. By now they realize the dragon is mute. So they will have to watch his reactions, and go from there. By discovering what foods he favors, they can hopefully bribe him to behave a little..
Prized Breed: Brynjar will catch the eye of Edana from early on. She will watch him closely. Pitted against wild animals, and skinwalkers, she will note his strength. Arrangements will be made to have him sire her dragony harpy daughters. XD
Zoomate: Bloodclaw will become quite attached to the strong dragon. She has every intention on keeping him in her zoo for as long as she can! Edana approves, as long as he's kept under tight key.
Smaug Descends: Smaug and the Flight learn of Brynjars whereabouts and descend on the borders of the Northspring Harpies, ready to reign brimstone and hellfire upon them! They will threaten to set the place on fire, if they don't return his son to them. At this point, Edana will have her offspring, and weigh out her options wisely. Bloodclaw will not want to part with her zoomate, but it will be the most viable option. Fighting fire over flesh is not a risk worth taking.
Fire destroys everything. A war with fire is not something that any of them have experience with. Smaug and the Queen will have some nasty words, before his release is made.
Filling the Void: Bloodclaw will be permitted to raise a male offspring from Brynjar in her zoo. He will be kept in a cage as needed, but taught to welcome the safety of his bars. He will be trained by her, and taught to fight for her.
Oh boy! I think I'm done. So please, post if you would like to join in on any of the plots! Especially for the capturing of Brynjar. We need as much help as we can get.
