Go on an expedition, Gawain said. If we had the brains surely we would find the missing Great King, he said. Surely that was all a ruse said in a fit of frustration. TK had little hopes of finding the King unless said man wished to be found, especially if his trusted Knights were at a loss of where he was. But was it really a time to be disappearing without a word? Granted, there would never be an opportune time for that.
The lad was very sure he wasn’t going to find the King, but maybe he would find something else in return. Maybe he would be able to discover some interesting items to bring back to the kingdom?
As much as he liked traveling and working independently, he wasn’t feeling too confident on his first expedition to walk alone. Luckily, he had enough fortune to encounter a fellow apprentice of Gawain’s that was willing to accompany him.
“I am not very strong, my apologies,” he started with an apologetic smile and while packing provisions for the trip. “I am, however, quite tall. Perhaps that will be of some use to you in the near future.” As long as this task didn’t involve too much damage to his person, at least. “How are your preparations coming?”QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 22 YOUR HP: 30

Cherry smiled at the grumpy undead "Come now, I'm sure you are stronger than you think TK, we will do our best, and if we happen to fail, we can always rest and try again" she said trying to cheer him up. Cherry believed between the two of them they could handle anything that came there way. "I'm sure together we can make it through this and find something interesting" Cherry looked down at her bag of supplies, "Looks pretty good" she said cheerfully "How about you?? There didn't seem to be much food at the feast.. Guess this kingdom isn't what it used to be, if it was ever at full strength" Cherry really couldn't remember.

He continued to smile pleasantly, but made a point of pausing his packing to give the girl an unsettling stare. The silence went on for a few poignant seconds before he returned to his supplies. This was just another reason he preferred to work alone. It was less a matter of underestimating himself and more of him stating the facts as he saw it. He stayed silent, one hand covering his mouth lightly while the other counted the items in his bag. With a satisfied sigh, he tied the sack closed and finally replied to Cherry. “I speak only in terms of physical strength. I assure you I have sufficient skills in other areas. Aggressive combat, however, is not one of them.” Clearly, he added in his mind.
He laced his fingers together, watching the girl pack her own bag of food. It was approximately the same amount of his, which was good. Their estimations were similar, which seemed to suggest sufficient compatibility. Perhaps this expedition would not be as horrible as he imagined it would be, but it all depend on what types of situations they would encounter during the trip.
Patiently, the other apprentice waited until she finished, and without another word he picked up his belongings and set out for the mountains. As he expected, the terrain was tough, but in terms of protection and war strategy, having the mountains here was not necessarily a bad thing.
But in this case, it was quite troublesome to have to navigate through the rough pathway. His steps are measured and careful, but TK makes a point not to walk slowly. A balance between caution and speed had to be maintained during this trip.
Though, no matter how careful he was there was no telling where, how, and when he could fall ill.
Like now.
He made no verbal complaints, but did lean over against a rock while holding onto his stomach. Wincing, TK turned toward Cherry. “I think I will head back.” He touched the back of his hand to his forehead and confirmed a fever. “It seems I have fallen ill, but by all means, if you can carry both of our supplies you are free to carry them with you on the rest of the journey.”
This was fine, considering he hadn’t been too excited to go on this expedition anyways. Sighing deeply, he turned around and headed back to Camelot.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 22 + 25 = 47 YOUR HP: it seems I've caught the flu carry on without me orz

Cherry frowned she couldn't believe she was alone already, she had lost her companion. Then chased by bees, she had a strange feeling this wasn't the first time crazy things had happened to her, but she couldn't remember for the life of her what they were. She continued on her journey since she didn't have any other choice. She sighed, she wished TK hadn't gotten sick so soon.

Cherry rode quickly through the forest, the green of the leaves a blur around her, she held on tight to the reigns. As she moved swiftly along her way. Cherry's pink hair whipped back behind her as she moved along. She had to keep her wits about her and do her best, even without anyone to keep her company on this journey.

Cherry moved along slowly through the mountains, she looked curiously at the bones, wonder who had died here. She then looked at the rusted armor thinking about how many knights had fallen and died out here in the mountains. Cherry shivered as she heard the sounds off in the distance. Cherry screamed and ran, ending up hurting herself when the snakes started chasing here, "God damn snakes!!" She cried out and ran faster through the mountains.
