He'd brought considerably less food with him this time, for some reason, so when Daisy sent him barreling into some bees and he used some of the remaining food to ward them off, it was kind of a hardship.Quote: Rolling a 3: You accidentally ride into a bees nest. Perhaps even more of a hardship was when Daisy just decided to up and run away when Mmur stopped for a drink. She took the remaining food, but also served as a beacon for the bees, to Mmur's delight. The day was surprisingly beautiful for being so close to the end of the world, but any pleasure Mmur gleaned from his surroundings was shattered as a very large and angry man ran out of the trees and bit him on the back of his leg. Mmur loved Daisy. Really, he did. But she was getting him nowhere when it came to the matter of finding the king. Sometimes he even thought she might be deliberately sabotaging him somehow. Were horses malicious? He was beginning to believe some of them might be.
When he headed out to search for his liege this time, he chose a grey gelding that the stablemaster called Franks. It was an odd name, but the horse seemed game enough, tossing his mane prettily as they headed toward the mountains.QUEST STATUS Food remaining: 32/32 YOUR HP: 30/30
