Nobody told her she was going to be getting dysentery on this trip. Piper was no stranger to diseases, but dysentery had to be her least favorite. Colds were annoying but passed, viruses flushed out of your system. But this was just torture.
After the episode passed, she peeled away form her original group. They all decided maybe it was best that they weren't near each other anyway, in case they reinfected one another. Plus, now she could be super lazy about this trip all she wanted! Huzzah!
Patting her horse, Piper whistled her way out of Camelot and out into the dangerous world once more.

Please no bees. Please no bees. Please no bees pleaaaaase.
There were no bees. There was, however, a badger. And Piper had never gotten the memo about how to handle those things beyond "stick things with the pointy end".
In the end, the battle was more a series of flails and shrieks until the creature stopped moving. She felt slightly bad about it and then quickly moved on before more showed up.

The badger had spooked her already, but now she had to deal with worse: a giant forest rumored to be full of nasty elves and nastier spiders. She kept her polearm close and tried to stay close to the path.
And then, naturally, was when a giant spider attacked her. What a wonderful world.

With twigs sticking out from her hair and leaves and gods only knew what else crusting it, the young girl managed to disentangle herself from the winding forest. Piper spent a good long while cleaning herself, grumbling about appearances even though she was doing this on her own.
(On her own, gulp.)
Psyching herself up, she plunged into the labyrinth...and immediately set off a trap. The rest of her time was spent escaping the snakes she had accidentally set loose.

"Can I go hoooooome?" she whined at the sky as she bandaged her wounds. Please, please don't let any of these things have venom in them...She didn't feel weird, so she took that as a good sign and made her way up the rest of the hill.
There....was a creepy old man there...o-okay...? She sniffed the food he offered, smiled brightly, and thanked him. Good nibbles for the way back at least.
Dirge said they were supposed to be looking for, uh....oh hello. Artifacts! This one looked particularly pretty, and so with a satisfied hum, Piper plucked the item off the ground and hopped back on her horse, more than ready to return to Camelot and get her prize.
