gaia_crown BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF CHARACTER Roland stands a meger 5'4, hazel eyes and brown hair. He wares a clerics robe of green with no hood carrying a long halbard over his sholder. As a member of the green knights he tries to heal the sick and save the dying from the terrors of the world. Lately though he just seems tired. Some days he feels like just giving up and letting the shadows take over. Polite and soft spoken, just a tad bit of a downer.

The Creeping DarkBesides watching two of the other apprentice knights bleed out in the planning room it was an uneventful day. There had been some shouting about the king going missing. He caught a glimpse of his own Great Knight, finding Gwain to be a rather comical but still high ranking. He had at that point, retired to the strange library. Another girl was busy organizing books, another hitting on her. Himself? He was seating by a window enjoying one of the more solid tombs reading about castle walls and the layout of Camelot, it wasn't anything amazing but it was something to pass the time in all the chaos of the new knights running about.
Roland was lost in that book when he heard the first splintering in the sky above, it was a distant and strange sound, it was too warm out for ice to be formed let alone enough to be cracking like that. He set the book down turning towards the window a small frown on the corner of his lips. "What in the..."
Then it shattered. He didn't have time to register what was starting before it finally happened, his view over the courtyard giving him a wonderful display of the chaos, of the dead and soon to be dead assaulted from the darkness. Screams of agony filled his mind and a dreading sense of something familiar crept into his mind leaving him panicked and short of breath. The moment passed and only one option remained. He grabbed his Halberd and started towards the main hall that would lead him back to the courtyard.
