Flit shook his head. The question confused him slightly, but he thought that it made some sense...at least to him. He had a rough life and his body knew that. he sighed as he closed his eyes slightly, trying to get a good response out for Kite. "No. I have been almost everywhere here and to tell you the truth i am ready to settle down and raise a family of my own. I have been traveling ever since I could remember, which isn't very long. The only memories I have are from my adolescent stage of life. My pup life I don't remember. I don't even remember how I lost those memories to begin with. I think Fate has been frowing on me since I was born and is now trying to smile on me. My life has been full of hate towards my own kind because of what has happened and what I have dreamt what might happen to me. I don't want to wander for the rest of my life. You understand? Maybe you should try it to. You might like it." He opened his eyes slowly and looked at Kite sadly. This wolf was too impatient for his own good and he might get himself into some trouble one day.

He thought about it. But he didn't want to stop discovering. Maybe when he was older he would want to discover settling down, but now he just didn't understand it. He didn't hate anyone, and he never had. He had never really be unhappy either, and though some could have seen his childhood as lonely, it was nothing compared to Flits. He welcomed the adventure, he welcomed the danger. It wasn't the thrill of it though, it was the joy in all that was new. He grinned at Flit after a second, his tail thumping the ground hard.

"Maybe later," he said cheerfully, these two words hardly summing up his thoughts on the situation. But he was a wolf of few meaningful words, though he was full of flippiant ones.

"The most important thing is to be happy."

Flit nodded. That was one thing he could agree with Kite about. It was important to be happy. he sighed and flopped over onto his side. He never knew how exciting it would be to talk to a wolf for longer than 10 minutes. He looked up at Kite and sighed. "you're right. it is important to be happy. What are you planning on doing in the later months of this year?" he was curious of the wolf. His visions told him that he might get a mate, but the time between them were long. he wasn't sure if he should accept the visions or ignore them. He sighed as he rolled over onto his back and he tucked his legs against his body.

Kite watched the other wolf flop over, for the moment ignoring the question, and responded to the movement in kind, pushing back with his forelegs and toppling over backwards, hitting the ground rather hard and not seeming to notice.

When he was lying on his back as well he finaly saw fit to answer, a strange, happy-go-lucky, "I plan on having a great deal of fun, other then that nothing too concrete," he joked, enjoying the cold of the snow.

Flit nodded at the wolf's response as he lifted his head up off of the cold ground. he stared at Kite curiously for a few moments before turning his attention to the skies. A single hawk had decided to hunt for the first time since the sun rose that day. Slowly, Flit rolled over onto his stomach and observed the hawk.

"That's good. Fun is always a good thing to have. I wish I had that option when I was a pup. I never had a chance to have fun because I was always dodging death." He glanced at Kite and flicked his ears slightly. This wolf seemed like the happy, care-free type that had a mother to take care of him. he yawned again as he flicked his tail in a half-wag.

Kite straightened his legs and waved them in the air mindlessly, his tail poofing the snow around as he enjoyed his fun. It was an odd sight, limbs flailing about for no reason, so happy for something so small and entirely meaningless in the long run.

"So why don't you have fun now?" he asked happily, not at all affected by Flit's statements about death, still seemingly unnoitcing that the other had not had a happy past. Kite always felt that the past was behind you, and that's where it should stay.

Flit watched Kite's actions carefully as he wagged his tail slightly. 'What is he doing?' he thought to himself, clearly confused at Kite's actions. he had never seen another wolf do that kind of stuff before and here was one who was doing funny stuff right now. He canted his head and flicked an ear, confused at the whole ordeal.

he shrugged to Kite's question as he looked away from the strange wolf. "I don't know. I never really thought about that before. do you think that a wolf has gotta have fun in order to be mentally stable?" he flopped down on his side again and licked one of his paws, trying to get the ice off of the pads of it.

Kite ceased his pointless wigglings, but decided to leave his feet in the air. It made his paws tingle in the most amusing way, like when they fell asleep. Lack of blood maybe?

"Uhmmm, I don't think anyone is mentaly stable, but having fun is certainly good for your health. I mean, I look pretty healthy, yeah?"

It was actualy a funny question. He wasn't sick, but he was a pretty small wolf. Perhaps it was one of those objective questions?

Flit sighed and shrugged. No one was mentally stable? So did that mean that he had some instability in him, too? He pushed that thought away as he curled his paws slightly. "yeah, you do. So, does that mean that every wolf has a little bit of insanity in them?" he was curious of this. he had met a few insane wolves before, but he had gotten along with them alright. It was the sane wolves that made him worry. 'What if the sane wolves go insane one day?' he would always ask himself everyday. He rolled back over onto his stomach and stretched his body.

"I wouldn't say insanity, I'd say abnormality, it sounds a little fancier," he chirped out, grinning so widely his eyes closed. He really didn't think it sounded better, he was just pretty sure that not everyone was insane, even though they weren't stable. If creatures were stable they wouldn't do the crazy, unstable things needed to live right.

They wouldn't chose to live alone.

They wouldn't chose to leave a pack for someone they loved.

They wouldn't dedicate themselves to someone that might not feel the same for them.

And if wolves didn't do things like that then Kite wouldn't exist.

[Sorry i didn't reply sooner. Forgot about the RP. sweatdrop ]

Flit nodded his head, half-understanding what Kite was telling him. He flicked his ears slightly as he heard a twig snap. He turned his head around to see a hare bounding away from them. "abnormality?" He was getting a little confused, but he didn't mind it at all. It was like a challange he had to face and he liked challanges. He yawned widely as he picked his body off of the ground and began to paw at the snow.

"Yessss..."

He trailed off, watching the other out of the corner of his eyes. Flit needed to take it easy. That was Kite's only impression of his new friend. Sometimes the past haunted people, and he could not understand why.

The past was past, the present was now.

"Afterall, normal is boring," he wagged his legs about again before flipping back over onto his stomach, wondering what Flit was up to.

Flit listened to Kite's words carefully as he began to dig into the frozen ground, looking for something. He sighed as he found the item that he was digging for and he picked it up with his muzzle. earlier that winter, he had found an arrowhead that a human had used when it was still alive. Flit decided to keep it, just in case he met any humans. He dropped the item on the ground and looked at Kite curiously. "Normal is boring?" He canted his head and looked at Kite with a confused look on his face. Did that mean that he wasn't a normal wolf? He sighed as he thumped his tail agaisnt the ground.

"If everyone were the same, where would be the fun in that?"

He stood up quickly to look at what his friend had found. Kite didn't know what it was, but it was preeety snazzy. He had no knowledge of humans besides his mothers occasional warning that if he found something that walked on two legs he was to run away. He probably wouldn't have listened to her if he had, but so far in his short life humans had never factored in. Probably a good thing too, he would be a prime candidate for getting himself killed. Not normal.

He sniffed delicately in the direction of the thing, and tilted his head at his friend.

"Wazzat?"

Flit canted his head as he flicked an ear slightly. 'Was there a way to get everyone to look and act the same?' he thought to himself curiously. He thumped his tail against the ground and shook his head. "No, that wouldn't be very fun at all," he said quietly to Kite. He put a paw on the arrowhead, but quickly picked it up as the sharp edge pricked his pawpad. He lowered his head down near the arrowhead and he sniffed it delicately. It reeked of human, but he didn't mind it. He pricked his ears up when he heard Kite ask him a question and he raised his head up slightly to look at the other male. "I don't know. It looks like a human thing." He prodded the arrowhead with his dull nails as he stared at the object curiously.

"Human thing?"

Kite lowered his head to get a better look at the object, unsure of what a human thing was. Perhaps this human thing was alive?

He wagged his tail, wondering if one could be friends with pointy rock-like human things, and if so how they wagged their tails, as he did not see one on the human thing.

"Where do human things come from? Do they taste good?"

He remembered that he hadn't eaten in awhile, so that question seemed imporatant to him. The whole world could pretty much be catagorized as good to eat and not good to eat.
