Anya was out sitting on the swing outside their house, quietly swinging back and forth and enjoying the solitude. Being a triplet was fun.. but her sisters could be rather noisy! And messy... She eyed the surrounding area's, glad that there weren't any of the angry whispering alkidikes about today. She'd had enough of the dark whispers for a while! Today, she felt, was too nice a day to be ruined by people. It was bright and sunny, a small breeze that helped to cool the humidity that filled their jungle home. No clouds above either, so perhaps she could move outside and try to write stuff in the sun and not in her room... Or maybe I can play with my sisters.. Elyessi And quoting you all so it's in your notifications to find easier~

Lumikani was high up in a tree, again, her arms straining as she looked as far as her eyes could show her. Down below, she could hear the creaking of the swing, keying in that one of her sisters was out and enjoying the day just as much as she. Instead of socializing, the smaller triplet was working on building up her strength, just as the great mother wanted her to. It was a perfect day for climbing as high as her fingers would allow, and Lumi was getting quite good at pushing her boundaries.
Finding a nice sturdy branch to settle upon, the Alkidike youngling swung her legs over to settle down, swinging her legs back and forth and taking a breather. Sometimes it was nice to just escape for a moment and enjoy the freedom of the open trees, the sound of the wind and the leaves, and the adventure that was the great wilderness.
She'd get down eventually, but for now she was at home up above.

Ashani too was in the trees. It was a nice day for it. This particular day she sat within reach of the flowers that were blooming and waving them together for flower crowns for her sisters. As she swung one leg off the branch, her other tucked up against her on the large branch she used as a seat, she hummed a random tune as she plucked flowers and strung them into chains.
She heard one sister, perhaps Anya because she didn't like the trees. Ashani smiled. She would make a special crown for her.

There was only so long that Nimueh could toddle about under Senza's legs, in the way but horribly curious as she sewed up garments for her girls and haphazardly tried to attend to dinner, before the Alkidike mother reached her wits end. It took a few nudges and a stern 'outside, or no dinner!' to convince the halfling to finally wander outside, rubbing his arm as he peeked out of the treehouse doorway, squinting against the unwelcome sunlight that filtered down from the canopy above. Halo'd in the glow was Anya, settled upon a swing constructed from a sturdy, polished log and long, woven vine ropes - just the perfect size for the larger Alkidike child. For the girls, it would only take a brief hop to settle upon it - but for Nimueh, who was a full head and some change shorter, he would have to climb aloft like he was clambering up a tree in order to get onto it.
Not that he could - Anya was on it, and with how fond his housemate was of the swing he didn't think he'd get close to it any time soon. So instead he moved to sit a few paces away, thinking himself well out of way - though within kicking distance, if Anya threw her weight into the swing in such a way as to angle the pivoting pendulum. Tugging at the grass with his fingers, Nimueh peered at Anya out of the corner of his eyes, tempted to speak with her but not quite working up the gumption just yet.

Anya heard someone come out of the house and figured it wasn't one of her sisters simply because no words had been said. Looking over her shoulder she saw Nimueh; her nephew. He appeared to be bored.. or at least kicked out of the house. Recalling the whispers of the grownups, Anya decided to stop being so distant and try to at least get along with the boy. She would be better than the adults and not so hateful! She turned and swung over to the porch near him. She couldn't see her sisters, and wondered if they'd been kicked out of the house or were elsewhere. "Do you want to swing Nimueh?"

As Lumi swung her legs back and forth, she began to grow bored. Her dark eyes had taken everything in, and she had climbed the trees around their home dozens of times. There was no challenge, and so she would make one. A devilish smirk crossed her features as she looked down upon her sisters, before she caught sight of her nephew's bright skin against the foliage.
Well this was interesting.
Smirk gone, Lumi moved swiftly to wrap her hand around the tree and glided down from branch to branch, swifter than a Maglardilla, or so she imagined. One day she might get there. As she neared the ground, she glaned to see Ashani with her flowers, and snorted softly.
Landing with a thud, she eyed the smaller youngling before her, quite glad that she was bigger than one other child in the village. Being the smallest was frustrating, but at least she wasn't as small as Nimueh.

Ashani heard the house door open then close, wondering who would be coming out of it. Soon she saw her other sister climb down out of the trees (Oh that was where Lumi was!), and then abandoned her flowers for now. She climbed out on the branch she was on and peered out on her other sisters. And she then she saw her little nephew Nimueh! Oh she had to make a flower crown for him now! So after watching what was going on, she went back to her flowers and started the last one for Nimueh. She was now happy as her whole family was finally out doors. Well, except for Mama Senza. She was probably back inside doing housework.

While it was true that Mama's sisters were his age, or a bit older, Nim had never really played with them too much. The few times he'd come close he'd either run back inside in nervousness, or found an excuse to chase after Mama instead - grasping at her tall legs until she had pity on him and picked him up. But she often went off with her bow, and it wasn't weird to be left with Gramma Senza. Most of the time she'd tolerate him.
Anya was one thing - when she noticed him, Nim couldn't help but swallow hard and give the grass a hard tug, yanking it from its roots. But then she spoke. He blinked, mouth falling into a surprised o, but he was a child after all and before he could stop himself he'd jumped up to his feet, hands clasped excitedly infront of him, jumping from foot to foot in nervous excitement.
Then came Lumi, descending from the tree in such a way that, to him, resembled a menzuri much more than a maglardilla - to him she looked predatory, even if she had no intentions. While she was the smallest of his aunts by a long shot, the way she looked at him made him feel intimidated despite himself. He opened his mouth, then let out a soft sigh, eyes shifting suspiciously from the swing to Lumi, then back to Anya. "Anya... Anya said it was my turn." He announced, but his voice flaked towards the end, wavering in uncertainty. He looked at his other aunt for clarification. For the moment, he hadn't seen his third aunt, Ashani, in the trees - he certainly hoped she wouldn't appear by surprise like Lumi had!

She couldn't help but smile at his obvious enthusiasm. " Here;" she held out the swing. "Get on and I'll give you a push." He was quite adorable... if oddly colored. Maybe being a 'big sis' wouldn't be so hard after all! Anya and shook her head as she saw her smaller sister bound down from above. "You've got a mess in your hair!" She sighed, her fingers itching to make clean and straighten Lumi's hair. At least Ashani wasn't a mess since playing with flowers like she always did was not as messy. Hopefully no bugs crawl into Lumi's hair, she thought, there's all sorts of bugs in trees! She patted Nimueh's head after a bit of hesitation. "Don't worry. She's just coming down to play, not take the swing." She looked over at Lumi and then Ashani. "Um.. since we're all down here.. do you want to play a game or something?"

Lumikani kept her lips pursed as she eyed her younger nephew, not quite displeased with his appearance but quite frustrated with his demeanor. He always seemed to be quite the scared one, and now that she finally got a chance to look at him on his own, he was proving her correct. However, she herself knew that size didn't mean anything, and he did have the blessing of Aisha running through his blood. Huffing, she let out a scoff at his lackluster announcement and turned toward Anya.
"Twigs and leaves never hurt anything, Anya." She argued back, crossing her arms and shaking her head. She didn't bother with her hair. Even if there was something in it, it didn't make a lick of difference for her. However, at the mention of a game, her arms dropped and her eyes seemed to light up along with her challenging smirk.
"A game? Let's have a race!"

A race? Ashani perked up, placed her finished crowns asside, and slid down out of the trees quietly, yet in full view of the others as not to scare them. Wouldn't do to have little Nim scared of her. She smiled at her sisters and said, "I wouldn't mind a race!"She placed her hands behind her back and smiled. She wouldn't win, she couldn't beat Lumi on the ground, but she could in the trees. She would stick with Nim then and help the little lad if he needed it.

With all three of his aunts down and out of the trees, Nim took a moment to look between the taller children, wrinkling his nose in contemplation at the suggestion of a game. A part of the smaller Alkidike wanted to beg out of the game and just swing, but it wouldn't be much fun swinging by himself... so after a moment he mumbled his agreement.
"Where are we racing to?" Was it a race around the village ? They were only just outside their tree, was it just a race between the trees? Despite himself, the boy began to get excited again - the prospect of a game with his aunts, who he normally didn't get to spend time with since he was with his mom all the time, was pleasing even if they could be intimidating!

Elyessi (snekaing on one tag before I head out! So... take your time responding? Or you guys can continue without me and I'll.. come back later and do rps with you all in june XD ) "Twigs and leaves are messy and will get snarled in your dreads." She remarked back with a wrinkle of her nose to Lumi. Anya smiled as everyone got distracted from the swing and decided to race; not her favorite game at all! All exhaustion and no plot! She let the rope slide out of her hands to release the swing. Maybe she could opt out of the running? "Well... race is fine I guess... want me to be the judge? You all race too...." She looked around and pointed to a tree that could be gotten to along branches or the ground. "That one and back again?"

Lumikani gave her sister a long, hard look, before wrinkling her nose back and pulling a comical face. Sometimes there was no point with Anya, the two just seemed to go different directions when it came to cleanliness.
Turning away, she noticed both Ashani appear out of nowhere and even little Nimueh show some interest at the sound of a race. All at once she began to bounce on her toes at the thought, the excitement of the competition fueling her with unbound energy. She grinned at both her sisters and her little nephew, who was becoming quite the surprise today, before Anya announced she would judge.
"I guess so..." She seemed to deflate, before puffing up once more, "...but judge fair. No playing favorites."

Ashani smiled. Her sister could be a little obsessed with cleanliness, but she loved her just the same. Anya was a fair, Ashani didn't know if she harbored favorites, but she was sure she would be a fair judge. Ashani patted Nim's head and smiled down at him. She wouldn't try as hard to win cause he was small and couldn't keep up with her or her sisters, but it wouldn't be fair to Lumi. Ashani mentally shrugged and looked towards Anya for instructions on the race and to point out where they would start. She would present flower crowns to her sisters and Nim regardless of the outcome. She loved them all and hoped for them all to be happy. "Let's do our best Nim." she whispered to her nephew smiling.
