(Burgers Drive-In? Can we say Sonic?)

Inside the bathroom, Jinx put the finished tying the red laces on her white roller skates and carefully stood up from the bench to stare at her new ensemble in the mirror. Above the white skates and white socks was sheer dark nylons displaying slender, dancer legs. About mid thigh was the edge of her diagonally striped pink and white dress which buttoned in the front and comfortably hugged her slender frame. A white apron covered the skirt in the front tied in the back. Jinx's pink hair was no longer in their normal 'horns,' but pinned up in a bun. Framing her new hairdo, was a tiny white folded cap that Jinx had to pin in place to keep it on her head. Finally, Jinx put on her name tag over her left breast that read "Roshni."

Butterflies seemed to be poking around inside Jinx's stomach for the first day of her new job. The ex-HIVE member used to fight dynamic battles on the streets of Jump City -- first as a villain and later as a hero. So why did Roshni feel so vulnerable and nervous? Part of it could be that her real name was now out for display for the world to see. Part of it was that she was now just a civilian, part of the masses like a herd of sheep as Gizmo once referred to normal people.

With the Titans retirement, Jinx no longer had any support to do crimefighting anymore. A single superhero without being rich or being supported by a mega-corporation simply can not pay bills or keep a roof over their own heads. With a long sigh, Roshni looked at the reflection of herself as if this image was some visage she was forced to be. Even though she felt like crying, Jinx swallowed her pride, determined to be the best waitress she could be. "Wait... Roshni... I have to remember my real name. God, It's been so long ago since I heard anyone say my real name. how long has it been? How far have I... Oh I don't know anymore. Hell, I could have just as easily been rotting away in a cell in God-knows-where." Glancing up toward the ceiling, "Please... Please don't let me screw this up. I ... I don't want to be a ... Oh Wally, where did you run off to?"

"Hey, it's about time to get out there. We have customers pulling in."

"Alright, I'm ready," Roshni painted on a smile, and hoped that she could at least enjoy herself. At least, she likes skates anyway - pulling on her dancing and acrobatic skill.

Making her way up to the front of the drive in diner, Roshni grabs a pad and pencil and then skillfully skates out to a car that just pulled up with a bright smile on her face. When the driver rolls down his window, Roshni greets him warmly, "Welcome to Burger Drive-In! My name is Roshni, and I'll be your server today. Would you like to try our new Bacon Double Burger meal?"

A black car parked right outside the burger drive-in. Inside was Sam Carver, his assistant Ms. Rickards and of course Carl their driver. Sam had argued with her for an unprogrammed lunch break. Sam who just arrived to the city after a lousy 3-hour flight he wanted something to eat.
"Wait, Carl park right here. So you guys want anything?"
"Now? you pick the moment to eat when there are metahuman cases to be solved?. Not to mention find Nightwing or any remaining titans and...." Ms Rickards replied frowning at Sam's unpunctuality . He was interested in Xenothium hopefully it will boost his control watch, in order to switch from his symbiotic armor and human form at will. Sam interrupted his assistant.

"What?! i didn't had breakfast and i only have an hour left in my watch to become a hardened monster. And i don't want to do it, without and empty stomach. Besides all they had was peanuts, Come on i'm buying lunch what about you Carl?." Sam said with joy and unaware of the cases. She nodded silently and looked at the list on her PDA.
"Sir may i remind you, were on schedule here...And you decided not to fly on your private Jet or atleast first Class."
"Sir, i'd like one of those double bacon cheese burgers. I hear they're all the rage now."
"You know i'll have one of those too. Good thinking Carl but wait here. I told you i don't like sitting alone with just you and the flight attendants."

Ms Rickards sighed as Sam got out of the car, she opened the car door and got out Carl was about to get out too but he was ordered to stay in the car. Carl rolled his eyes but then turned on the radio, he smiled as Don't stop believing played on.

"Fine, the diet was killing me anyway. One of those New York Dogs and a shake."
Both Sam and Ms Rickards walked to Burger Drive-in. They could have got in line waiting with the other cars but Sam was practically new to Jump City and he liked to meet people everywhere he went, Sam was that nice.
"Attagirl."

Blackfire had been back in Jump City for a matter of days and still had yet to find her 'dearest' sister. She flew through the skies over the city, violet eyes searching the ground below her. She zoomed over a burger joint, coming to a stop a short distance away. Turning her head, the Tamaranean looked back at the restaurant, pursing her lips before flying back to the burger place. She landed on the roof, her black hair falling gently around her shoulders as she looked at all the customers.

Seeing everyone happily getting and enjoying their burgers prompted Blackfire to place a hand over her flat stomach. It was embarrassing to admit, but the alien had developed a strong liking to the greasy food this planet had to offer. Dropping her hand from her stomach, she decided that she would have a nice, tasty burger before going off on her own again. But she wouldn't just walk up and buy one. That wasn't her style. Nor did she really have any money on her. So...that was a bit of a problem. Pouting, Blackfire dropped so she was sitting on the roof, her legs hanging over the edge with one crossed over the other. Who could she snag a free meal from?

Just then, a car pulled up. A nice looking car, at that. A grin spread across her features as two people stepped out. A man who was clearly just dripping with money, and a girl who looked like she could be snapped like a twig. Yes, that was her target. She could easily snag the girl's burger and get out of there before the poor thing knew what hit her. Now she just had to play the waiting game. Easy enough to do. She was a patient woman, after all.

Blackfire watched as her targets made their order. It wouldn't be too long now. She watched from her perch, eyes taking in every detail so she could time her attack perfectly. At least. She should be able to time it perfectly. Unless that approaching car got in her way. The girl had signaled it to come over. Well. This would put a damper on her plans. Blackfire stood from her perch, instead crouching on the edge of the roof as she glared down at the vehicle. She may have to cause a little destruction after all. Her lips turned up in a sadistic smirk as her eyes started to glow a light violet. She watched the car closely, the purple glow in her eyes getting brighter. She would happily stop that machine in its tracks if she had to. She glanced back down to her targets. Hopefully they would get her order soon. The girl could keep that dog. She wanted the burgers.

Quickly, Jinx scribbled down the order with the alterations to the standard meal deals, and began to tally the items in her head and add sales tax, "Okay I have your order as two Bacon Double Burger meals with Chocolate Shakes and a New York Dog meal with a Strawberry Shake? Let's see... Your total with tax comes out to... twenty-five dollars and fifty-four cents. Is there anything else that I can..."

Jinx's train of thought got rudely interrupted by a blood-curdling shriek which quickly turned into a gurgle. The horrid sound snapped Jinx's attention, as wide-open catlike pink eyes sought the source. The former Titan found the front of the store where some white-haired perp was literally biting into the front server's neck. Like something out of a horror movie, Roshni was transfixed by the sight, while her brain processed what she was seeing. Even though it was only two seconds, it seemed much longer for the former thief, "दयालु शिव हमें की रक्षा!". Snapping out of it, Jinx turned her head around to the well-dressed woman known as Ms. Rickards, "Call 911! Tell them they have an Assault with Intent by an SPB!!!"*

Without fully realizing it, Roshni handed her order pad to the 'personal assistant' just before Jinx rolled a short distance to behind a car and kicked off her skates. Even though she was really good on skates, they would limit her mobility -- especially against this vampire wannabe. Quietly, Jinx moved heel to toe and glanced at Ignis busily feeding on Julie. Fury ignited within Jinx's heart, as her hands and eyes glowed harshly. Standing up, Jinx launched two hex bolts: one aimed to knock Julie loose from Ignis' grasp, and the second aimed at Ignis himself to hit him hard and trigger bad luck, "Choke on it, you Twilight Ghoul!!!"

Blackfire continued to stare at the car, eyes no longer glowing but still flicking between the approaching car and her targets. At least...they were, until a scream drew her attention away. She whipped her head around in the direction of the scream, her long hair flipping over her shoulder from the movement. Violet eyes spotted the source of the commotion. A white haired male eating a young girl who worked at the diner. Blackfire's eyebrows furrowed as her eyes started glowing angrily. "Ignis...." Her voice was a low growl as she glared at the demon before her.

Letting out one more, unhappy growl Blackfire launched herself from the roof, flying over and dropping down right in front of him. "Abbadon!" Her voice was strong and full of authority befitting a queen as she addressed him, using his alias instead of his actual name. She stalked towards him, growling slightly as she scolded the man before her. "How many times do we need to cover this?! If you're going to eat someone, do it in a secluded area!" Her eyes snapped over to a familiar pink-headed woman that was firing at them. Jinx.

Blackfire's eyes narrowed at the woman before she jumped into the air, flying up a bit so she didn't get hit by the shots meant for Ignis. She put her hands on her hips and leaned forward, still berating the other being whilst he was getting attacked. "Do you know what your recklessness has cost me? I had the prime chance to obtain not one, but two bacon burgers. TWO! I hope you have a very good reason for pulling this stunt! You owe me dinner now!" She frowned down at Ignis the whole time, her violet eyes no longer shining as she'd gotten her anger a bit under control. Someone else was by Jinx now, and Blackfire looked over to see who it was. Well...she couldn't really tell who it was. He was in some sort of...suit...that covered his entire body, head to toe nothing was visible beside the suit. This was just getting out of hand, now wasn't it? She sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. Leaning back in the air, she crossed her legs one over the other so it looked like she was sitting in the air with a bored look on her face.

Sentinel tried to follow his movements, as Abaddon shot his blood , he covered himself with both hands as he heard the landing thus he produced two spiked fists. "Now, that makes two of us." He lunged forward with an impressive speed. Sentiel produced another limb however this oue came from his back taking shape of a large tentacle.

With it as he was fighting trying to hit a deadly jab cross hook elbow knee combination at Abbadon aiming for his head and lower body. His tentacle tried to pull Julie away from Abaddon and take her to his associates. "Carl!, take the girl away and cauterize the wounds, Ashley take them out of here.!"

Rickards and Carl grabbed the girl from Sentinel's tentacle, as the opened the door of the car they go in quick . Carl drove off away from Burger-in. Sentinel still had to keep in contact with them specially if he was going to capture Abaddon. however he was still unaware of Blackfire as she didn't made any move at all that made him more cautious about having to face both back to back with Jinx.
