It's amazing how kids take for granted yet it's sooo precious to adults lol
PostPosted: Sat May 09, 2015 8:33 pm

Especially if that adult happens to have massive projects for school or work to do! eek

You know, some countries/companies require nap time during work! 3nodding

Eeeeeexactly! burning_eyes 3nodding

Yeah! Isn't that amazing?! I don't remember off hand which ones, but...yeah, it's part of the work day! biggrin

Oh heck yeah.. xp It's too bad every company around the world doesn't have a required time for down time, like a break, different than lunch time. ...Like recess! 4laugh Haha, I noticed in another post you were a teacher, so maybe that analogy hits home. xd

3nodding One of my friends does so much overtime, she'd be really happy if her company did that

My case is sort of special lol my classes aren't until 12:30pm so I usually go to school around that time. Class finishes around 2:00pm blaugh

My friend already works more than she is at home, I feel like the company owes her sleepy time lol

Not exactly lol The school is an Islamic school that focuses more on Islamic studies. So they have all the Islamic subjects first. I teach the academic classes (Math, English, Biology) so my class is last lol

surprised Really? Cool! biggrin I understand though, priority rules. 3nodding That's interesting, I've never heard of a school focusing on Islamic studies.. Usually it's just a single class...but then, it depends on the school.. xd

Trinidad is a multicultural country so we also have schools that are Hindu/Christian/Muslim owned but are more secular and anyone can attend ^_^

Oooo! Cancun! That must've been amazing!
*nods* it is private. You learn things like how to read/speak Arabic properly, history of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (sws)'s life, the Prophets that came before Prophet Muhammad (saw), Prophet Muhammad (saw)'s companions, reading the Quran, explanations of the Quran, the pillars of Islam, laws in Islam, etiquette and other stuff lol
Islam is a way of life: how you treat others, how you dress, how you eat, even down to how you use the toilet lol in learning about these things, it's not jus about having the knowledge but also putting it to practice in daily life. So by attending the school you basically become a scholar in Islam and you help others to learn more ^_^

Well it was an interesting trip. My mom booked a hotel that had all meals included, so...if we wanted, we didn't have to leave the beach-side hotel if we didn't want to. xd We did, though, see some Mayan ruins, visit a Sea Turtle Sanctuary, and more. whee 4laugh

Must've been really awesome! x3

*nods* you'd have a better understanding of the Quran and then there are people who have memorized the whole Quran!
It's a combination of both lol there is a student who is already married and then the ones who are in my class are 13 - 14yrs old 3nodding

It's nothing to be alarmed about lol I'm not sure how this would sound to others sweatdrop we've got like different prayers we say before the things we do eg. eat, drink, sleep, leaving the house, entering the house, traveling and so on. So its like in everything we do, we remember God and thank God for being able to do it. So there's a lil prayer we say before using and after using the toilet. Cleanliness is also of high importance so when cleaning ourselves, we also use water along with toilet paper. And we also cover our heads when using the toilet cuz we learn that its something the Prophet (saw) used to do. We basically try to follow what prophet Muhammad (saw) did to be close to him, in the same way a person would follow in the footsteps of someone they admire ^_^
