In ancient stories, there was this huge calamity that everyone called "The Spawn". A dangerous and evil entity that starts off looking like little slug like creatures that when bound to a host, transforms its host into a demon, forever changing them and the only thing you can do is kill the person or persons infected by the spawn. Throughout this age of destruction and fear, the devil gods, who were worshipped in many ways, knew that they couldn't do anything themselves, granted there powers to select humans and gave them the title of "Demonbane". The demonbane's wiped out the spawn and drove them away from the world at the cost of there lives. Now, 1000 years have past, and the shadow of the spawn is about to rear its ugly head once again. The only hope the world has is the rise of a new generation of demonbane's to eliminate the treat. You are nothing but a normal civilian now, but will eventually come across great power during your journey, and with it, the hopeful salvation of the planet.

Character Appearance:

Character Name: Tetsuna Strifeheld
Age: 22
Sexuality: Straight
Bio: Orphaned as a child due to a war at the age of 5, he was adopted into a semi royal family and given the role as captain of the guard of his town when he turned 18. When he was on a mission, he came across a spawn demon general without knowing it, and during the conflict, was severally wounded. Just as he was about to die, he was granted the power of the Azure Flame Demon, and his left arm became demonic along with his hair turning black to white. Now he wanders the world, searching for other possible demonbanes to end this generation of spawn.
Personality: Generally quiet, but is easy to make friends with and probably the worst person you would want to make your enemy.
Weapon of Choice: A custom dual edged broadsword made from black metal and finished with an extremely durable steel edge along the blade. Lightweight and maneuverable makes this weapon a trustworthy ally to Tetsuna
Demonbane Powers:
Azure Armor: Grants him a thin layer of azure flame to surround his body, reducing all damage by half and inflicting minor fire damage to all attackers. The only downside to this ability is that his movement is reduced to a steady walk while the ability is active.
Azure Fireball: Generates a massive fireball that does moderate fire damage to the initial target and minor damage to targets within 10 feet of the initial target.
Azure Enchantment (Sword): Surrounds his sword in azure fire, giving him an additional fire damage to his attacks.
Ultimate Skill:
Devil Awakening (Azure Flame Demon): His eyes become slit, develops slight fangs, and hair goes under a super saiyan like transformation and spikes up like crazy. And he becomes surrounded in an azure fiery aura with a giant Phantasmal version of his demonic arm that floats alongside him that he can control with a simple flick of his arm. This giant arm can also materialize its own giant sword of Azure fire that Tetsuna may also control while in this form. This form/ skill can only be used in dire situations such as near death or otherwise noted. It is an extremely dangerous skill for him to use, for there is a chance he can not distinguish friend from foe.

Character Appearance:
Character Name: Cajun Perrik
Age: 18
Sexuality: Straight
Bio: Cajun was born to a middle-class family of traders. His childhood was cushioned by his parents, who let him do what he wanted, and kept the truth of the world from him. He lived happily with his doll, Grendelin, while his family travelled to and from cities in gypsy carts, until one night their camp was raided by mercenaries, and his dad and older brother were shot dead because they tried to protect their family. Cajun didn't take it well, and left the rest of his family - his mother, older sister and younger brother - to travel by himself.
Personality: Cajun is very shy, and still a little shellshocked by his dad and older brother's deaths, and comes off as cold and uncaring because of this. He doesn't like to get close to anyone in case something similar happens, but he finds that he can't stop himself caring about people he meets in his travels. He tends to be honest about his thoughts and intentions, except when it is about his background or feelings. He is a little gullible and his current deepest fear is of people discovering he still carries Grendelin around in his satchel, buried at the very bottom, though he constantly has to push thoughts of his family out of his mind.
Weapon of Choice: Handgun, but will revert to daggers if necessary.
Demonbane Powers:
Attraction (Hi!): Using magic to amplify his voice, he can draw all demonspawn away from his allies or humans and towards him. The downside is that now he is the target of many demonspawn.
Shield: Using fear, he can create a spherical shield with magic.
Infection (Bullets and daggers): Wounds caused by weapons coated in this will not heal, nor will blood clot. The downside is that he can only use this skill when he isn't using any of his other skills.
Ultimate Skill:
Death by Despair: Being overwhelmed by despair, sadness and just a hint of hatred, Cajun unleashes a high-pitched scream/shriek to the sky which makes enemies' bodies in earshot start shutting down automatically.
