...Yep. Never do that again, Rhyme. Takes off running into the forest, the pokemon still in pursuit until its not and she's tangled in the trees, staring at the face of...

Crystal would continue on, hearing the sounds of the rampaging Bronzong slowly grow more distant. She'd stop for a moment to catch her breath. "Okay... Now then, where did Apolla go.... Where am I at, also?" She'd look around, realizing that she'd not only lost Apolla, but her own way as well.

She's staring at the face of the Skarmory. Yep, another one. And its the same one too--she can tell, somehow, with its face. Last ball goes at it, because quite frankly at this point she just wants out and won't mind running out with her tail between her legs, completely unprepared.

"Kaaaa?"

"KILL IT!" Trish screamed at the sound of the voice, jumping to her feet quickly. "Die, evil, soulless rodent! Idina, Flamethrower!"

"Fen fen." Idina replied, rolling back onto her feet from where she'd been thrown when Trish jumped up. Without really even looking, she fired a stream of wild flames at the Electric Mouse Pokemon. Pikachu dodged it easily with Agility and retaliated with an Electro Ball.

"Dodge, Idina! Psyshock!" Trish called out. Her little fox nodded and jumped backwards, flipping gracefully over the blast of ball lightning, charging up and releasing three small orbs of psionic energy at Pikachu. It tried to defend itself with Double Team but after the first and second orbs missed, the third struck true, knocking it to the ground.

"Quick, Flame Charge!" Trish directed when Pikachu was hit. "Feeeeeeen!" Idina called out as she wreathed herself in flames, charging forward.

Pikachu, in an attempt to defend itself from the fire-cloaked fox, wrapped itself in lightning and jumped to it's feet, charging wildly towards Idina. "Pikapikapikapikaaaaaachuuuu!" It chanted as it ran at it's fiery foe.

The Pokemon met in the middle of their makeshift battlefield, struggling against one another for a few seconds before their energies warped, intermingled, swelled and them exploded in a cloud of white smoke. In the resulting trembling of the earth, Trish dropped a Safari Ball, which rolled into the cloud and vanished.

"Oh no."

Crystal waited until the sounds faded completely, and she'd emerge out of her hiding spot, looking around. "Hm. Alright then... Now, where's my purple furball?" She'd focus on the various chi signatures until she found Apolla's and would follow it, catching up to her. "Apolla, don't do that crap again!"

("Sorry, but I really thought that was going to be futile.")

Crystal merely sighed. "Yeah, I really can't blame you. Let's go."

Changing her mind and deciding that it might be better to keep a hold of the second Dusk Ball she had found, Amaranth returned long enough to reclaim it in case it really did belong to someone else. In doing so, she looked around for her own safety before heading back out of the plant.

On her way away she trips over three Dusk balls. Scoops those up and stashes them, heading off out of curiosity about one...more little thing. Just one more, she told herself, pet Alterna's furs. Just...once more.

The ball had rolled into the cloud, indeed but it had hit Idina, failing at catching her since she was already owned by a trainer. "Oh, thank Arceus." Trish muttered as she retrieved the ball from beside her fox and the prone Pikachu. "Filthy rodent." She spat once she realized that her Safari Ball had been broken in the diminishing clash she had missed.

Leaving the unconscious body to whatever scavengers might be around, Trish continued on her way.

...Rhyme stops short at the sight of a pokemon whose cry makes her blood run cold. The Rotom stares her down with a grin, and its with a look of horror that she realizes it knows what she is feeling. It can sense her fear.

She doesn't even want to fight it. She's terrified. She'll risk one of the Dusk balls to fling at the Pokemon, to keep it away from her.

There's...nope! The ball failed to work. Rhyme screams and falls backwards, the Rotom coming towards her. Battery...living battery...

"SHINX!"

Alterna stands before her, lunging with a Bite that sends the Rotom reeling. She can't let this thing win, vivid memory of the Fridge coming into mind...

Second Dusk Ball goes flying as it's distracted, her heart beating faster.

Trish was walking along calmly until she stepped into a puddle. "Ewwww! It's in my shoe!" Indeed, her left sock was now soaking wet inside her boot. Nevermind the Stunfisk glaring up at her from the water. It would either wait patiently for her return or attack now.

Or it would have, had Idina not used her Flamethrower very close to her trainer's foot to flash dry her clothing, in the process, Stunfisk's puddle was dried up and the Trap Pokemon was made into a fish fry rather quickly. Without even trying, the Fennekin had knocked the unsuspecting Pokemon out cold. That might have been the reason though.

...Rhyme will return back to the entry of the Safari. That's it. She's completely done with this, hands trembling around the Rotom's pokeball, eyes staring straight ahead.

Once Trish was dried out properly, she began to walk around once again. She got rather close to a generator at one point and noticed an object sitting on top of it that didn't seem like it quite belonged. "Hmm? What is that?" She asked, tapping the metal object slightly. Rather than the clang or ring she expected, the object responded with a loud "Zoooooong!", moving slowly as it turned to face her.

"It's....alive?!" The girsl questioned, pulling our her SNAG and scanning the beastly metal creature. "Bronzong? Oh, it's a steel type! Idina, Flamethrower!"

Idina nodded and breathed her stream of intense flames over Bronzong. When she let up, both her and her trainer were surprised to see Bronzong barely even phased by the attack. "What the hell?!" Trish demanded. Checking her SNAG once again, she noticed a detail she had missed. "Heatproof?" Reading over the details, she slammed her open palm into her forehead in irritation. "Half the normal damage from Fire-type moves? What kind of Steel-type resists Fire-types?" She demanded of the Bronze Bell Pokemon.

Bronzong didn't seem to be attacking her in response, though. It appeared more curious than aggressive, floating over and looking down at Idina as if it were a parent inspecting another's child, comparing it to their own. And the, out of nowhere, it threw a punch shrouded in Dark energy, clocking Idina right in the face. "Bronbronbron zong!" The Steel-type laughed, amused by it's Feint Attack.

"Idina, get back in there with Flame Charge!" Trish ordered, wincing slightly. That had looked like it hurt. Idina nodded and rushed into action once again. She wouldn't hit her target as intended, though, Bronzong rose into the air and came crashing back down with no buffer to reduce it's speed. The Heavy Slam would prove futile, however, it it simply trapped it's foe within it's hollow body. "Flamethrower!"

Even with it's ability, Bronzong couldn't cut the damage from the flames when they struck it's underexposed innards. More so when they were contained within itself so perfectly. Try as it might to resist, it eventually succumbed to the flames and was pushed off by the continuous stream from below.

"That was....interesting. Good job Idina. We should get going. You're looking rough and we still haven't caught anything yet." Trish said as she walked over and pet Idina's head.

"Trike!" The little green eletric dog bark as Trish came upon it. It appeared to be defending a nest of some sort.

"I'm not here to fight you but if you want me to, I won't hesitate." She warned it.

"Trike!" It barked again, spitting a ball of plasma at her that exploded in a shower of fiery spark when ti hit the ground in front of her. "That was Flame Burst." She noted aloud. "Ok, now I know what I'm going to catch!" She said to herself, looking down at Idina.

"Psyshock." Idina nodded and launched and ball of psionic energy at Electrike. The small canine fired another Flame Burst, countering the Psychic-type move with it's own attack. "Psybeam!" The order as given and Idina obeyed, lifting her Twisted Spoon and launching the psychic beam at her target.

Electrike met this attack with a Charge Beam, the two beams keeping on another at bay for some time before their sources grew weary and cut them off. Trish growled softly. This was both intriguing and annoying. "Flame Charge!" She barked, irritated now. Electrike was prepared once again for this turn of events and attacked with Spark, the two Pokemon tackling one another while shrouded in their respective elements.

"UGH! Will you stop stalling and fight for real?!" Trish demanded of the Electric-type. "Idina, Flamethrower!" This time, Electrike did not have a true counter. Instead of countering, it used Quick Attack to evade, drawing Idina's flames away from the place where it appeared to be guarding, drawing close and attacking the fox with prejudice now.

"Good, it's close. Flame Charge!" After the last use, Idina moved faster, hitting Electrike in the side before it could fully muster it's electric cloak for Spark. "Now, Psybeam!" The psychic laser benefited from the speed boost as well, rocketing across the empty space at tremendous speed and striking Electrike between it's eyes, knocking it head over heels backwards. Taking the chance, Trish grabbed a Safari Ball and threw it.
