Fight in the Marketplace! Prompt 2

The people of Tendaji seem to be settling in - and some in places far from their homeland. The tensions are high, and with the whispers of the Alkidike planning an offensive… well, some have been on edge and ready for a fight. Were the outsiders going to help their people when the time came to fight the extremist Alkidike? Most of the natives to the area had their doubts.
An argument had broken out in the market, verbal at first, but it wasn’t long before it became a physical confrontation.

Rilind wanted to get his family safely to Tale, but before they were able to do that they were going to have to get things packed, not to mention that they needed the right supplies to be able to travel easily. Rilind had taken on the task of going to the market to get the supplies because he felt that Rilind, being the bigger and stronger of the two of them, should guard their babies. He didn't mind going alone if it meant that the three little ones were well guarded. Not as though Rilind hadn't done a lot on his own before coming to live with Yaholo and the others. Getting into the marketplace and back, it should be easily enough to do. Once home they would return to packing, getting everyone ready to go. The sooner that they were in Tale the better that he'd feel.
That was the plan at least as he walked along, buying a few things here and there. They needed food that would last, dried and smoked preferably, as well as some more water skins since there would be a lot of them that needed water. He gave a pause as he spotted some Alkidike women, none of whom looked that happy, facing off with some others, seeming to be in a verbal battle with others. At first he couldn't care less, figuring it was something personal, not to mention that he didn't want to deal with those particular women. That was until he heard one of them saying about wanting to 'get rid of those who were infesting Jauhar' which had Rilind instantly prickling, turning to look in that direction. They were going, damn it, out of the forest and somewhere safer then Jauhar, so why did they keep at it?
Lifting a hand he rubbed at his temples a moment, trying to get his temper in check, he had to just get his things and go before he actually said anything. That was something he was trying to tell himself... at least until he heard one of them saying that 'first they'd get rid of the Shifters and then they'd deal with hybrid scum'. It was something that caused him to go stock still before he whirled around, "Why don't you shut your trap you hags!" He snapped at them, his hands clenching into fists. How dare they call them scum? His lover, his babies, they weren't scum, they were wonderful people! His words caused all eyes to turn to him, not that he seemed to noticed, his eyes on the women who were looking him over with narrowed eyed disgust.
"I am only too happy to get my children away from the lot of you, I'd hate for them to see you three and think that you are what the Alkidike are." He spat out even as they came at him, refusing to back down even in the size difference between them was great.
One of the three, one with the sides of her head shaved and the rest gathered into a bun on the top of her head reached out, grabbing Rilind by the shirt, and lifted him up, "What did you say you scarred up little p***k?" She hissed at him, eyes narrowing, inspecting him closely before she gave an angry sound, giving him a shake, "This is one of those Earthling bastards that defiled our great Aisha along with his hybrid companion recently." She said, glancing from one side to the other at her sisters, then back again at Rilind.
Rilind starred up at her as she shook him, giving a snort, "You're obvious as dumb as you are ignorant, if Aisha is as great as you all say she is then she wouldn't have granted us children if we weren't worthy of them... or are you jealous that they would give me three lotuses when it's supposed to be a rare and glorious occasion?" He mocked the woman, the old anger he used to feel when he was younger seeming to overwhelm the fear he'd been been feeling when it came to these women recently. He knew that he shouldn't be picking fights with them but it was hard not to when they were insulting his family.
The comment was one that made all three of the Alkidike women go wide eyed before he found himself flying through the air, thrown by the angry woman who had hold of him. He landed hard on his back side but was instantly up again, hands going for a moment to his swords... but decided against it. He knew Yaholo would be upset with him if he were to pull swords on the sisters so in case he lifted up his fists and spat on, "You want a fight then come on!" He more then ready for a fight with them, his adrenaline running on high. It was probably a terrible idea, challenging so many of them to a fist fight, but he couldn't really stop himself. Too much swirling emotion that he'd been dealing with until now and this sort of seemed like the best way to burn off said energy.
Just as the women came after him though others from the crowd stepped forward, stopping their advance, which annoyed Rilind more then anything. The three of them hissed at him, saying that he 'wasn't worth it' before walking away. It was something that had him snarling under his breath, "I was fine on my own, I could have taken them." He muttered as he moved to gather up the supplies that he'd dropped, stalking off to return to his shopping, quite riled up now. He wanted to get the shopping done then maybe go for a run to burn off all this excess energy that the near run in had given him.
