The unusualness lay in the time, it was edging into early evening territory, and the fact that right now he wasn't Briar at all - no right now he was Sailor Oort, Chibi (whatever a chibi was) Senshi of keys aka secret superhero...
And he was hot, because despite the time it was still pretty warm.
Which was why he was sitting perched on the rim of the fountain in the centre of the park, absently trailing his hand in the cool water and debating on whether he should go looking to see if there were any monsters around.
Not that he'd come across any monster-looking monsters since that one time with the blue haired girl that had been like him - another secret superhero - but that wasn't to say that they weren't out there.
Although if he was going to go looking for monsters then maybe he should go find a stick because a stick would have been super helpful first time round...
