Yvette rubbed her belly a bit as she laid on her bed. She pretty much had been confided to it for the last month. They were worried that she would deliver early. At least everything was going well. The thing that threw most of the family off guard was that she had to figure out two names. She smiled as she remembered her husbands face when he found out that they were having twins. He didn't see on the screen at first that there was two blobs. What he heard though were two hearts pounding. That moment was precious.

The woman got off of the bed. She needed another trip to the bathroom. That was one thing about being pregnant, lots of trips to the bathroom. This time she didn't make it to the bathroom, instead she felt a rush explode from her body. "Shoot! Honey! I think they're coming!"

Caesar had quickly filled the role of "over-worried-soon-to-be-father," a little to easily. It was until a week ago that he had calmed down, and that was only because Yvette had suggest a wonderful distraction. Remodeling the nurse was a perfect task for him to undergo, and it felt good to do some honest hard work; but only because she was right next door, so that he could be with her in a moment's notice if anything happened.

Needless to say, he was out and into the hallway just moments after her shout. He had practiced for this moment for so long, it came effortlessly as he shouted to the nearest guards to retrieve the royal doctor and send a message to the king, as well as Tabatha Kent. "Alright. Um. Okay, remember your breathing exercises? Yeah. Breath." He was already grinning, his strong arms helping to guide Yvette back to the bed in her room. Sure, the children were coming a bit early, but he knew that she could do this. She was the strongest woman he had ever known. "I love you." He told her such many times in the next few hours, but he meant every time. The doctor burst into the room within minutes, her kind face set in concentration for the most important delivery in all of history; at least in Caesar's opinion.

Irony. Princess Kate had her child today.

User ImageYvette smiled at her ever faithful husband. When he got her back to the bed she pulled him closer to her to him and gave him a kiss. "It'll still take a couple of hours." She teased him. Though once the first out the second would probably follow fast. "So what do you think we're having? Two princes, two princess, or one of each?" The woman said with a smile. She had grabbed her husbands arm so he couldn't escape. She even moved over in the bed so he could sit down next to her. If anyone wasn't going to be kicked out of the room, it was him. Everyone else had to deal with it if she kicked them out. That included the doctor.

Caesar considered Yvette's question, although he had thought about it many times over the months. "I have no clue. You're supposed to have those instinct feelings." he teased in response, his smile as bright as ever. When he had discovered that they would be having two children, he was shocked; but after he considered the royal family's past, he realized that it really should have been expected. Nearly every generation of the Solindo's had a set of twins, and the genes were always passed through the women. "I suppose we'll find out soon." Feeling her grip on his hand tighten, he sat beside her, perfectly happy with the protection of not being thrown out of the room. He leaned over to kiss her, his free hand brushing aside her hair as he wondered more over the genders of their coming children. Boys were so rare in the Solindo line, but Yvette was always one to surprise everyone around her. Maybe their kids would be the same way.

Within moments, however, his thoughts were interrupted by the doctor, who was doing her best to shoo him out of the way. Once it became clear that he would not be leaving, the doctor sighed, but nodded in agreement. Still, he would have to stand again eventually, she reminded him, to which he just shrugged in response. There would be a couple hours, at least, to get through first.

Yvette stuck out her tongue playfully to her husband. This was her first (and second) child. She wasn't sure about her instincts yet. Part of her felt they both were girls. It kind of crushed her. She wanted to prove that there was no way the curse hit her. She was not from the male line in the family and her legal name was never Solindo. It was Kent and, then after marrying her husband, Valdez. "Don't tell anyone this, but I kind of feel like they both are princesses." She told her husband low as he gave her a kiss. She pleasantly pressed back.

That was when the doctor came in and tried to shoo her husband away. A tighter grip was placed on Caesar and a death glare was shot at the doctor. Yvette had a temper and she was willing to kick the doctor out even if she was crowing. "If I kick the doctor out you better have one who can get her in a moments notice or help me." She muttered to him as the doors opened again. This time it was her mother came in.

Tabby went right to the bed. "I ported her as soon as I could." She told her daughter. The woman had been working on a movie set and probably had told the people to "screw it" for the day. "Your father isn't here yet? Men." The woman huffed. This was his house too. It wasn't like he had to teleport. Yvette turned to her husband. "After we have our chance with our kids, lets each give them one and run." She joked. It was an affect diversion. "Where's your mom. Isn't see coming?"

Nodding softly, Caesar agreed to keep quiet about Yvette's suspicions. He supposed it was be known soon anyway, so there was no point in blabbing about it yet. Glancing up to the door as it opened, he flashed a grin to Tabatha, his mother-in-law. He should have known she'd be there before anyone else, considering her strong nature and how quickly she could make a decision, like leaving a movie set for the day. When asked about his own mother, he nodded, explaining what he assumed had kept her. "She's probably calling one of her workers to watch the shop." Considering his many siblings, he also figured that they were also being picked up from school, likely by his father. Yvette brought his attention back to the room, and he had to stifle a laugh, although he did managed to say, "Agreed."

It was only a few minutes later that Seth entered the room, pushing open the door with his foot since his arms were full of flowers and a few balloons. It only seemed fitting that his grandchildren enter the world surrounded by bright, happy things. "Hey, honey." he greeted her, setting the items on a bedside table before leaning down to kiss her cheek. "The gardener refused to cut anything but the best for the bouquets. How're you feeling so far?" Standing straight, he looked to Tabatha, his expression polite, even friendly as he greeted her and Caesar.

{ooc: Should Lucy show up with Elendil? Like they've met up and gone on random trips over the months?}

Yvette didn't want the flowers and things in the room. The person who had the most likely chance to be kicked out first was her father and then her mother. "Seth don't be silly. The babies probably wont be coming for hours. It took me 24 before Yvette came into this world." Tabitha pointed out to her ex. It probably would be the same case now. The princess looked at her husband. "Is there anyway make this faster?" She asked him in a low voice.

The girl thought for a moment. "When the doctor says I'm closer we'll call you guys." She told her parents. She wasn't lying to them, but she didn't want people to fuss over her. It would also give a chance to throw the flowers out the window. "I'm sure my handler will make sure it happens." She joked about her husband being the more goody-goody out of the two of them.

((Yeah, may as well.))

Picking up his wife's cues, Caesar nodding when Yvette told them that they would call when she was closer to actually giving birth. He spoke up lightly, offering a distraction for the very-soon-to-be-grandparents. "Why don't you two go check out the nursery? Tell me how you like all my hard work."

Raising a brow as Tabatha mentioned her own labor of Yvette, he was surprised by the length of time she had had to deal with so much pain. Seth's wife had given birth twice, and both were under eighteen hours of labor; He felt a stab of guilt for not being there for Tabby all those years ago. But after a few moments, he returned to the conversation at hand, where he was being dismissed, Seth didn't take offense, at least not once the nursery was mentioned. It did pique his interest, and he wondered how much Caesar had changed it since he saw it last. "Oh, alright." He relented, the smile on his face portraying his good mood as he added, "We'll go check it out. Call if you need anything. Anything at all." As he left the room, he glanced back to his daughter one more time, flashing her a smile and thumbs up before closing the door.

Over ten minutes passed before Lucianna found her way to Yvette's bedroom. She had been on the opposite end of the palace with Elendil, enjoying some leisurely time after showing him a few of the Royal paintings. Thankfully a guard had found them before things went very far and she received notice of her sister's impending labor. It was exciting news, and she was more than happy to find Yvette and say so herself. "Vetty!" she exclaimed once she was inside, flinging her arms around both her sister and brother-in-law. "I don't wanna bug-" she paused just long enough to notice the flowers and balloons, a laugh escaping her as she added, "-looks like dad already took care of that. But seriously, I'll be patient." She looked over to the Elendil, considering a few things they could do to pass time. Instead of voicing such things, she just looked back to Yvette, her tone innocent as she said, "We'll be waiting for news~"

After a quick hi and bye to his sister-in-law, Caesar sat still for a moment after the door had closed again, leaving him with Yvette and the doctor. As the doctor bustled around his wife, Caesar continued to hold Yvette close. His smile was pretty much permanent at the point, though he did manage to keep his voice low as he asked her, "Have you settled on names yet?"

Tabitha hadn't seen the baby room since they completed it and joined Seth to look it over. For ten minutes the crown princess got her quiet until someone more welcomed came in. Yvette smiled at her sister and gave a hug back. "Don't worry. I still love this bug." woman answered giving her sister a bear hug. Lucy wasn't a parent and much different from their parents who had gone through the experience of being dotted on while pregnant.

Once Lucy was gone the princess turned to her husband. "Royal names are longer than normal names. They have two or three middle names and trying to do that with two is so hard, but I did think up two for each gender. My first boy name is Christian Seth Victor, I figured that dad would like it. My second boy name is Seth Nathan Caesar." She told her husband of what would happen if Yvette couple really break the curse on the family.

"As for girls I'm going with Isabel Tabitha Dawn Aurora and Maria Melonie Tabitha Luciana ." She was careful to give names of current and former Royal family members since it linked the children to the past rules of reining to the new ones. These were the children that would make it possible for a girl to be queen.

Yvette winced and let out a gasp. "I did make a lie about how far along I was." She added. "Just wanted us to have one more moment by ourselves. Your mom better hurry." The girl reached over and grabbed her phone. She didn't call her parents first. Instead she had her sister's number before anyone else. The woman quickly told her sister to chance course. She then allowed her husband to call everyone else.

Listening as Yvette explained the reasoning behind having such long names, he simply nodded, choosing not to interrupt. Considering the tales of the king's late older brother, Caesar knew that he would approve of the name. It was such a sweet gesture, that the only name he thought was better was his own. It would be amazing to have a son carry on his name, but he would keep that wish to himself for now. No use in making Yvette feel guilty for something she has no control over. Plus, he really was fond of the idea of twins girl, especially once she listed off names for that chance as well. The princess Aurora would surely be happy to have a child share her name, but he was also certain that she would love to hear lost sister's name again in a happy circumstance. "Whether they be Christian, Seth, Isabel or Maria, we'll love them forever." It was a promise they'd said many times before, but he couldn't help but state it again.

As Caesar placed a hand on Yvette's stomach, he heard her gasp, his expression shifting to worry as he looked up. Fear that he had somehow hurt her washed away when she explained about the lie. It was quickly replaced with a small smile, although he did pull out his phone to dial his mother. Just as the suggestion for leaving a voicemail began, the door opened, admitting his mother. Clearly, she had rushed up the stairs, but the flush on her face just made her appear more welcoming than ever. "Mama!" he exclaimed as she wrapped him in a hug, conversing with her in rapid Spanish. His siblings and father were also in the palace, although he was stuck watching them, making sure they didn't wander too far and also keeping at bay the questions about birds and bees. Once their exchange was done, Caesar dialed his in-laws as his mother turned her attention to Yvette, a wide smile on her face as she congratulated the younger woman.

Lucy was quick to return once she had been called. She had been waiting with her phone in hand the entire time. Entering the room, she glanced over at Caesar, who was on the phone but still managed to keep a hold of Yvette's hand. It was truly romantic, the love they had. It made her feel a pang of something...maybe longing? She was happy with her odd relationship to Elendil, but she often wondered if her future would contain the same kind of love her sister had. It didn't matter now, of course, Lucy had to focus on the arrival of her potential nephews or nieces! Smiling again, she told Yvette, "I'm not sure if I'm supposed to cheer, but Go Vetty!"

Yvette smiled as her mother-in-law came into the room and greeted her in Spanish. She was fond of the woman save for when she freaked out about her being the princess. The moment was nearly ruined by her sister. She wished she had a slipper to throw at her. "Lucy, don't cheer or the moment you're in my place I'll do the same." Yvette warned her sister as Caesar called her parents.

"Did you leave Elendil with Caesar's family?"
She didn't see the elf. She hoped so. The woman switched to English so Caesar's mother didn't understand what she said next. "Are you sleeping with him?" Another painful gasp was let out as the doctor came over and checked Yvette. The doctor moved the blanket a bit to get a detail check. It was clear after one look that the doctor was deep in thought.

Laughing as she was scolded by Yvette, she simply shook of the threat, her expression bright as she teased, "Give me a B! A! B! Y!" It was almost a solid minute of laughing before she could listen to Yvette's next words. Once she calmed enough to answer, she told her, "Yeah. I think he thought it would be rude to see you basically naked when he's not family. Elves are kind of funny about bodies, but I mean, I totally get what he means. It's just him being respectful." Lucy felt a soft smile on her lips, completely charmed by the prince's view on such things. It was really very cute.

Surprised when Yvette switched to English, she rose a brow as she was questioned on her relationship with Elendil. After checking to make sure Caesar was still on the phone and not paying attention, Lucy decided to answer her sister honestly. "Yes."

Hanging up once he had contacted Seth and Tabitha, Caesar turned back to his wife. He hand had never left her's and he only tightened his grip now. Her gasp startled him, and he couldn't help but hope that Yvette's labor wouldn't last very long; He hated seeing her in pain, even if it was for a couple of miracles to occur. Squeezing her hand, he looked over to the doctor. Caesar's expression was curious as he took in the contemplative look she had. "Doctor?"

"You're an idiot." She told her sister. It was part scolding, part joke. "Bigger than dad. At least dad had a choice, Elendil is too loyal to his people. Dad is a push over compared to him." Yvette was worried about her sister when the day came that Elendil would have to leave her. Tabby grew up with the man she knew him well.

The doctor looked at Caesar and then turned her head to Tabby. "How long have you really been in labor?" The doctor asked. It was kind of a blunt question by the tone of voice. "Hehe." was all Yvette could answer. The doctor looked towards her husband since he was the only one who seemed to have any real control over the princess. "In two hours I'm sure she'll be ready for the real pushing." The doctor said. "For now she'll have to deal with her body adjusting to push the babies out." The doctor answered. "Make sure that she goes to the bathroom before giving birth and get her walking and drinking a little water. Once she's too weak to walk around get her back to the bed."

Doing his best to mask a grin, Caesar tried to appear solemn as the doctor questioned Yvette. It was just too amusing, though, and he could only nod when the doctor spoke. "You're so stubborn. I love it." Nonetheless, he would follow the doctor's instructions. Bathroom and walking until she was too tired; he definitely had the easy part of labor.

It was surprising how quickly Lucy was able to adjust to conversation's seriousness. "I know, Vetty. He warned me, and I know." She gave a small smile, taking her sister's free hand as she did her best to reassure her that she would not be copying their father's mistake. "I'll be okay when that day comes." She prayed that she was telling the truth; despite being certain that she would be able to let go easily when the time came when they first slept together, she wasn't so positive anymore. They had seen so many places together, learning about the world and discovering each other's cultures...but it didn't matter. Not now, at least. For now she and Elendil could have fun, and Lucy could support her sister.
