Amytis found herself, surprisingly, keyed up in a very pleasant sort of way. Chariklo had promised her an introduction to someone they had both known in the dark future - to Ida, the beautiful Princess who had maintained the hospital where Amytis had spent most of her time. She wasn't a Princess in this time, apparently, but that didn't matter because Amytis was sure she was still wonderful and special, and would still be a good friend.
So she was bouncing on her feet, rolling from heel to toe and back, feeling for the pure, shining Eternal aura that would be Ida.

From her own perch nearby, Chariklo did her best to hide a tiny smile of amusement. It wasn't often that she saw Amytis so fidgety and it was ridiculously adorable.
Chuckling softly, she called out in a low voice, "She'll get here when she gets here, baby. Why not come and sit down and relax? We don't get a lot of relaxing time anymore."
This last was said with a wistful sort of sadness. They were both so busy anymore that time together was turning into a treasured commodity.

Ida approached the place the message had said to come with a slow step, her fingers tangled together in front of her.
Honestly, she didn't know why she was so... nervous about this. Chariklo was a Safe Person, one of her friends, and she'd been there at the NYE rescue. Amytis... well, she was Chari's girl, and memories of her were fond. At least the ones not connected to the end of it all, to burning tents and screaming injured. Ida's mouth firmed in a line as they echoed in her memories with a pain in her chest. She wasn't sure she'd ever be 'over' all of that... it still haunted her, months and moths later. Seeing people helped though, she needed to remember that. Knowing they were okay and seeing smiling faces, it helped.
A first time introduction to someone she already knew seemed silly, logically, but magic and wibbly wobbly time lines had little to do with logic. It would just be good, really, to see two of her friends again. She needed to see more people, be less isolated.
The auras of two dark mirrors bloomed on her internal senses and the senshi lifted her head as she picked up her pace, reading an eternal and a super. They felt right... it was unlikely to be any other two people, just showing up at this place at this time...
"Chari!" Ida called as she threw her arm up over her head and waved, feeling a smile spread over her face without effort. "Amy!"
The pink haired woman was familiar, if younger, and she looked... so good next to the blonde.

"You're probably right," Amytis acknowledged, and she did her best to stop fidgeting and just breathe. It got easier when she felt that beautiful, shining aura - and then there she was.
"Ida!" The Senshi of Karma didn't even hesitate - she ran forward and threw her arms around Ida in a warm, affectionate hug. She would have spun her aorund, if she'd thought herself capable, but instead she just contented herself with a tight embrace. "It's so good to finally...re-meet you? You look so lovely, just like I remember."
Except Ida was younger, and less harrowed, at least to a degree. The terrible things they'd seen remained dreams, yet.

Doing her best not to laugh outright, Chariklo grinned as Ida approached and waved, leaving Amytis to be the bearer of more affectionate greetings for now.
"Good to see you again, sweetheart," she sauntered over to give the Orchid senshi a hug and hair tousle. "Everything all right with you?"
Winking slightly at the dark haired woman, she draped one arm easily over Amytis' shoulder and grinned down into her girlfriend's eyes.
"Easy there, love. Plenty of time for getting reacquainted after all. Now," this time her grin turned wicked, "didn't I tell you she'd be here soon? All that fidgeting for nothing!"
To ease any sting her words may have caused, she dropped a kiss on the top of Amytis' head and gave her shoulder a squeeze.

Ida's eyes widened as Amytis rushed her, but it only drew laughter from her as her friend wrapped her up in a hug. It warmed her through, head to toes, and she hugged her back as tightly.
"Its good to see you too! Amy, you look so good... I don't have words for it." She laughed as she looked to Chari, feeling an upswell of emotion with the joy. The last time she had seen this woman, she had been covered in tar, limp in Chari's arms... This was so much of a relief.
When Amytis released her, Chari swept her up again and Ida felt her face warm. She hugged the taller Dark Mirror with as much warmth as she had her girlfriend, unable to stop grinning as they separated and she reached up to smooth her tousled hair.
"Things are okay." She said as she lifted a shoulder in a shrug. She carefully avoided all the troubles she had been having since the last time she had seen Chari, right after waking up in the past. This was supposed to be a happy reunion, they didn't need it clouded. "I've just been studying a lot and keeping up with patrolling. Its was weird to be back in school, but I'm getting used to it."

Amytis laughed. "You only say that because you remember me five years older with two kids," she said, and she stepped back enough to give Ida at least a little space. She didn't want to think of what else Ida might be remembering. Better to pretend it was stress lines and extra weight she was referencing.
"It must be so strange, having to learn things all over again," Amytis said. She had no real special skills except being a gentle, smiling face in the future - but Ida had real medical training, the sort of thing that took years to learn and, apparently, only a little reversal of time to forget. "I hope you aren't pushing yourself too hard." Because Ida always had, and so the warning felt necessary, if delivered with a lot of warmth and affection.
