The country of Taefell is but one area of the world in which the cauldron exists. Bellow is a general map with the larger of cities marked. But even there, there is much to explore and discover.
(We are naming a few places in which players may travel and have adventures. However everyone is welcomed to create places in between. We're sure there are tons of interesting villages and cities everywhere. Also foreign lands are open for creation and play.)
-The world is modern in technology, but always with a slightly archaic feeling. Magic is also very common.
Edelbrook: The city that The Cauldron shop is located. It is nestled up against a vast forest. Its not a very large city, but always seems busy. The buildings all seem quite cozy, all looking quite unique yet somehow flowing together pleasantly.
Down a small back street, and tucked behind other small shops, stands a particular one. Its sides are painted a warm though slightly faded yellow, white edge windows being perfectly cleaned and lined with decorative drapes on the other side.
The door is made of ancient looking wood with a well used brass doorknob, though usually the whole thing is left ajar in a welcoming manner.
Once inside, one is greeted by a charming sight of the main cafe/restaurant. A few wooden tables, ringed in plush cushioned chairs are spread around the main floor, plants speckled about in such a way as to give each table its own bit of privacy. The back door to the garden is also open to allow for a nice soft breeze to blow through, carrying the nostalgic scent of fresh cut grass and well worked earth with it. Those scents mix with many others though, as the kitchen is right nearby where Sen would be cooking for the guests if he is not busy in the forgery.
Behind the main counter is where Pai makes the intricate and varied drinks that accompany the delicious meals, also enjoying to help make the desserts from time to time if he isn't swamped with sewing orders.
As even though the cafe does quite well on its own, both owners have equally popular side jobs.
Pai, a member of the prestigious four winged Cherubs, the highest order of angels, gave up the high end life to peruse his fashion designing dreams. Though after discovering his talent for quantifying, he teamed up with his school friend Sen, to begin delving deeper into alchemy. His clothes making shop is easily accessible to a door to the left once entering the main cafe. Its a quaint place with samples on display in dazzling colors and flattering cuts.
Sen, a full fledged and accident prone Phoenix, trained in the arts of smithery until he became quite the master. Being able to turn anything to magical ash, he uses the items quantified by his friend Pai to create the mixed ashes that are sold to this day. His smithy is easily accessible by a side door to the right of the entrance of the main cafe. The place is a bit hot, but he keeps it clean and always functioning. The area is full of metal types rare and common, the walls being lined with all sorts of working tools. There are even a few racks of weapons and armor for display.
Both men welcome all visitors and will answer questions and of course take jobs as they can, otherwise making and serving the customers of the cafe daily.
Mistlea: The capital of Taefell, the castle rises up from the ground in a proud and strong manner. A queen currently sits on the leading throne, a prince and princess both by her sides. The city is always more than busy, full of colors, sounds and smells from all over the country. Everyone gathers here to trade, buy and sell. There are always magnificent things going on.. but also dangerous things aswell.. it depends on where you go and who you are with...
Greycrest: This costal town is of course known for its glorious sea food. Everyone from Edelbrook to Larkmoor prize their fish and shellfish as delicacies though it really is just normal every day fare for the locals. The city is on a gentle down slope that ends at the shining and vast sea. All the buildings are windswept by the fragrant breeze that comes up off the waves and everyone seems like they are quite fine going about business at a leisurely pace.
Larkmoor: Larkmoor is a large city but its one that isn't usually traveled to unless on absolute purpose. Its surrounded by rugged forests and backed by even more rugged mountains. The buildings are all made from the trees of the land, many staying as rustic looking as possible, and the community system being a close knit one of tribes and clans. If one does decide to make their way out here though, they would be greeted by the freshest of air and the most breathtaking of views from any direction.
