Sami-Fire Sorry this took so long. I hit a really difficult patch for af ew days there ;-;
As soon as she encountered her first REAL fight, things went down hill. And fast.
First of all, the thing she encountered was not a human, but a horrible monster. It looked like something out of a horror movie, with a gaping mouth that was full of teeth. It stood well taller than her, slouched forward with arms that were so long they dragged on the floor, while its legs were far too short for that kind of body proportion. It lumbered slowly, but it was relentless.
No matter where she went, it always seemed to find her, and it was really starting to scare her. Hiding behind a trash can down an alley, she had her eyes tightly shut and was hoping the thing would pass by and not notice her hiding spot.
She heard the sound of its heavy hands dragging slowly across the pavement, coupled with the heavy, slow stomps of its large feet, and knew it was coming for her.

Oh god what the hell was that thing. That was one fugly youma backside Cor Caroli was staring at as he looked down the alley. Curiously, he felt another senshi's aura from somewhere further in the alley, but he didn't see anyone else fighting the thing. The other senshi was either hiding, wounded, or both. Not that it mattered; this thing could corner him or her for sure in this alley. He was at a loss for what to do. His magic was defensive, not offensive, and he couldn't just punch the thing to death, could he? Well, there was one thing he could do. He picked up a trash can lid and chucked it into the youma's backside like a frisbee. "Get trashed, you piece of... trash!" Not the most impressive entrance, but there was no time to worry about that.

Sinistra felt something else, and it was a joyous moment for her to realize it was a White Moon aura and someone who could, potentially, help her. Soon enough she heard the clattering of a trash can and she moved from her hiding spot in time to see a stranger, but someone powered like she was, throwing a trash lid at the horrible youma.
"Good throw! Oh, thank you!" she cheered, as the lid slammed into the back of the youma, but she quickly threw her hands over her mouth when she saw the monster was completely unaffected by the trash lid.
Oop.
"Oh, dear, it's mad at you now!" She informed Cor Caroli as the youma turned toward him. It snarled at him for a moment, then released and glass shattering screech at him before hauling its massive arms up and launching forward at him suddenly.
It was definitely mad.

"Oh shi-" Cor Caroli made a quick dive to the side and only barely avoided getting body slammed by that ugly freaking youma. With an agility that surprised him, he scrambled further into the alley to try to find the other senshi and hopefully escape with her. He spotted her eventually, and dashed to grab her and run for it. "Come on, we've gotta get out of here! Someone else is gonna have to take care of that thing!" It kind of sucked for him to not be able to do his job, but surely there would be a more powerful senshi out and about to dust that monstrosity.

It seemed like it would be a bad time for her awkwardness to rear its head, as she had plenty of other things to focus on at the moment, but her social hang ups knew no bounds.
As soon as he grabbed on to her hand, she felt fire flood her face. She was going to be looking very red, she knew it, but maybe it was too dark for him to notice...
Of course, it was harder to hide the fact that she suddenly forgot how to speak.
"Eaap. Oohh..." she squeaked, which was supposed to be something closer to 'okay' or even 'thank you', but got lost in her head somewhere. She was all too happy to run with him, though, as it meant getting well away from the monster that looked like it wanted to eat them both, and then would go off and rip a few more people to shreds just because it felt like it.
But weren't they supposed to dust it? Was it too strong for them? All questions she might have asked, if she remembered how to talk. For now, though, she just focused on stumbling along with him. Of course, as the youma turned to race after them, her footing slipped and she crashed to her knees, making it difficult for her to be pulled along.
It was like being the damsel in distress in a horror movie. But didn't they usually die first?

Those were some uncomfortable noises this other senshi was making. Cor Caroli would have worried about them if he had the time, but escape was paramount. When she fell, Cor Caroli was quick to come back and offer a hand to help her up. "Come on, hurry! That thing is going to be back here any minute. We need to get out of here."

"O-okay," Sinistra said, taking his hand and letting him lead the way. She stumbled a bit more as they ran, but it seemed the youma lost interest in them. Or perhaps it was finding another way to get to them, and was only letting them think they were safe...
Either way, after some time running, it seemed like they had lost it.
Completely out of breath, Sinistra stopped and leaned forward, putting her hands on her knees and taking a moment to catch her breath. There was no way she was going to be able to say anything just yet, though she wanted to thank him for his help.

By the time the two had made it to apparent safety, Cor Caroli was similarly out of breath. He had no idea if that meant he was horribly out of shape, or if he was just in average shape and no one normally had to run like that. When he was finally able to speak, he set about with introductions. "Hey, are you okay? I'm... I'm Cor Caroli. How about you?" He was already trying to puzzle out her sphere from her fuku. Witchcraft, maybe? Lithiasaur I'm SO SORRY I let this one slip my mind ><

"Oh. I'm... uhm. I'm okay, I believe. I'd like to think so, anyway. Uh. My name is Sinistra."
She blushed, watching him bashfully for a moment, then glancing down to the floor. She had plenty of reasons to be embarrassed here. She had been useless in that encounter, for one, and probably had not even run very gracefully in her fear. She was generally not very good at meeting people, and even worse when meeting boys of any kind.
It did not help that he was looking at her so critically, and she imagined he did not like her silly looking fuku and colors.
"I'm the Senshi of Brooms."
Explaining it did not exactly make her feel better. If anything, her sphere was even sillier than her halloween type colors.

"Sinistra? Nice to meet you." Cor Caroli opted not to comment on her sphere; the poor girl seemed plenty nervous and uncomfortable, and bad puns about sweeping people off their feet would probably only make things worse. "Do you think you can get home all right, or would you like me to follow and keep an eye out for anything till you get close enough?" He assumed that she probably wasn't going to want to keep patrolling after that nasty shock.

"I uhm. I think I'll be alright, yes. Thank you very much."
She had her hands clasped in front of her daintily, but rather tightly, and her ankles were touching with how close together her feet were. She stood stiffly, despite her best efforts to at least relax her shoulders. There was no relaxing for her, though.
Her silly nerves and social anxiety was hitting her hard. Why were boys always so hard to talk to?! It did not matter who the boy was, how old they were, or how long she had known them: she had a very difficult time not being terribly embarrassed.
Maybe because she knew she was not much of a lady, though she tried so hard to act like one. She was just... a school book nerd who was always better at grades than friends.
"And you? I wouldn't want that nasty thing coming back after you..."

"All righty, then." Cor Caroli didn't want to sound doubting of Sinistra's ability to get home okay, but she seemed to be plagued by bad luck, if encountering a huge nasty youma and tripping during the escape were any indication. "I'm sure I'll be fine! The faster we split, the faster we can get further away from that thing, and the less likely it is to catch up to us. Not to chase you off or anything, I'm just saying that we should get moving. Maybe we should register each other in our senshi phones, just in case? You know, take a picture of someone, and bam, they're added." He had already popped his senshi phone out of his subspace pocket, but he wasn't going to force her to be in his contacts if she didn't want it.

Sinistra looked baffled for a moment, then took out her phone and looked at it curiously. She had never used it to register another senshi before, and did not know how it worked exactly.
"That's all you have to do? That's incredible!"
Why it was so astounding to her, when everything in her life was now steeped in magical and strange things, was a mystery. For some reason, though, she found it to be an absolutely delightful feature. If only all phones worked that way! You just scanned something and bam, the information was there. Hell, if her brain could work like that when she was studying for tests, that would make school even better.
And she was already a good student that enjoyed learning.
With a bright smile, she lifted her phone and took a picture of him, blushing as she did so and focusing on the phone so she could pretend he was not going to take a picture of her as well. She hated being in pictures...

"I know, right? It really is!" Cor Caroli watched as Sinistra was automatically registered in his contacts and was unable to let it go without a quip. "Your cheeks are all rosy. Cute!" Sinistra wasn't exactly his type in a variety of ways, but he called it as he saw it. He popped his phone back into subspace and took a few steps away. "All right, we're good to go! Good luck, get home safely. Let's move before that thing figures out where we are." With that, Cor Caroli made his exit, though he couldn't help but be a little worried for that girl. As long as she made it home quickly, she'd be fine, right?
