*Title inspired by thisHugbell sighed as she walked with Barnaby on her shoulder. It was an odd feeling to acknowledge she really wasn't a chibi anymore. She'd been awaken to a world she'd known well and she still knew it but her awareness that things might change for her now was strong.
"Think, they'll still give me a chance to talk to them since I'm no longer a chibi but an equal? Or do you think they'll go after me?" She asked Barnaby knowing full and well she hadn't activated the ribbon so that he couldn't answer. Though she still thought of him as a companion even when he wasn't moving on his own.
She felt lucky to keep him. Though she also noticed a small blip on her mental radar. A power blip so familiar that she knew it was a chibi senshi. "Oh, I wonder who's nearby!"

She was 12 now, just turned. She didn't feel 12 yet, still felt 11, but she was going to the 7th grade next year and she was getting taller and looked a little older. Did that mean it was time to put on her big girls pants and stop avoiding being a magical super hero girl, or whatever she was. She wasn't terrible sure. This magic thing was terrible and she swore she would die before her 11th birthday, but here she was 12.
She snuck out tonight, out the back door, not an easy feat seeing as her older brother's were still awake, but she managed. Now she was not to far from her school, she didn't want to go much place else because she didn't want to get lost.
She went around to the back ending up on the football field a place where she was most at ease. She grinned about to slip in a cheer routine when she felt something weird and saw something walking across the field. It looking like one of those pose-able art mannequins in a cheer outfit. It didn't have a face, but it talked.
"S .. t ... a... r... s ... e... e... d..., Starseed, starseed. I think I'll have yours now!"
Rhea scream, as the pom poms the thing held shot forward wrapping her up in the little streamer pieces. She screamed louder and struggled, wishing she never came out at all.

Hugbell was near the school, luckily when the shrill screams came. She took off running for the football field, dismissing Barnaby to subspace so he wouldn't fall off. Seeing the cheer mannequin, that was about as bad as a creepy doll.
Hugbell aimed a punch for it, "JUMP BACK!" She yelled after the punch connected, hoping to cause the possessed creature to let go of the younger girl. Hopefully surprise attack would startle it enough they both could get some distance, which probably wasn't that much of a surprise if these things could feel her aurora.

Rhea screams didn't subside when she saw the other senshi appear on the seen, instead she screamed words pleading for the other to help her. It seemed the other senshi intended to do just that as she punched at the youma and Rhea was dropped, but the youma turned to attention on Hugbell.
Rhea scrambled backwards eyes wide, slipping slightly on the dewy grass. "Run, don't let it get you," she shouted her childish voice high with worry and fright.
"Double starseeds, easy as pie.. Grab them up ... Little senshi say goodbye," the cheer youma chanted a bad cheer. It threw its forward and pompom streamers shot of at Hugbell.
"Watch out," shouted Rhea not wanting the other to get hurt and to scared to even know what to do to her.

Hugbell wasn't as fast as she use to be and she could tell it by jerking away from the creature tucking into a roll and stopping on one knee the other foot in front of her. She watched, "You're going to have to help me. I can beat it but not alone."
The young teenager looked towards the frighten chibi before rushing back towards the monster aiming a punch. "I use to be your age, look at me now. Don't give up find a way to make the scary thing funny!"
Hugbell was hoping the punches would collide all else fails she'd called up Barnaby for a distraction.

Rhea watched as the other girl escaped the pom poms where she hadn't been able to and addressed Rhea in the process. She shook slightly, trembles. Her eyes were wide and she look at Hugbell as if the other girl had lost it, but the words struck her slightly.
"My age," she repeated before her eyes got wider and she pointed, "look out."
The youma jumped at Hugbell and threw a leg out to kick the senshi in the side only to be punched in the shoulder. Rhea almost burst into tears, "I'm sorry, but I don't know what to do. What do I do?"
Rhea hadn't even ever used her magic before. She knew of course the name of her attack but it held no real meaning for her. She tried to move from the spot she was frozen in. Help the other girl, she knew she needed too.

Hugbell frowned as her leg got caught by the attempt and she tumbled. The teen stared at the monster kicking upwards. "Come on you can do it! There's got to be words in your head something that's begging for you to stay it."
She pulled Barnaby out of his space pocket and threw the bear, "Teddy Comfy Catches!" She hadn't used her attack since she'd grown and watched as the bear exploded outwards from a small stuffed animal to something between a full and queen mattress as far as size went.
Hugbell used this to move and snatch up Rhea in her arms and drag her away from the monster a bit. "Look at me. If you don't do this, if you continue to be afraid and don't fight, you'll always have to be saved. Don't let that happen, you can do this. Don't let them tell you, you're too young. I didn't, it's a lot to take in and with power comes responsibility you're a super hero, use it." Hugbell was trying to get the younger girl to realize what she was saying, to resonate with it and be confident in it. "That monster? It's like a spider in your room, are you going to let it keep you out of your room or do you want to help me squish it so it's safe to go into your room again?"

Rhea's thought hard even though she felt frantic of the words, the ones that were supposedly begging her to say them. She didn't really know what she was listening for fully and was distracted a moment late by what the other senshi did with a teddy bear. Her eyes went wide as the youma found itself caught beneath the biggest teddy bear she had ever seen.
When she was dragged away she went willingly and when the other girl talked she had Rhea's full attention. Teary eyed she listened nodding to show she understood. When she was asked about the spider she shook her head, "No, I wouldnt want to let it keep me out. I want to help you squish it. I can try. I'll try."
She turned to looking at the youma clearly still frightened but wanting to do her part. She was a superhero this girl said. She could do this. She tried to think as the youma now free started to approach them once more cheering her starseed chant.
Rhea took a step back, "uh uh ..."
She looked to the other senshi and gave a nod still trying to think when it came to her, two simple words," Little giggles," she said moving her arms in a quick outward arch and watching the youma get hit with air.
She looked confused when nothing happened until the youma took a step and started laughing, and another and laughed some more and again. "I think it worked!"

Hugbell glanced back at how Barnaby was fairing, obviously not well when he shrunk down to normal bear size and dropped on the ground and the youma was back after them.
"Good, don't let it keep you out!" She said nodding. She couldn't help but chuckle when the other attacked and the monster busted out in giggles. That was certainly a helpful attack, "GREAT! Lets get it!"
She smiled as she aimed another punch for the monster. "You're faster than I am, so you can run faster. Use that to your advantage, don't let her slow you down when she can attack again!"

Rhea repeated the words to herself once more, "dont let it keep me out," and gave a firm nod trying not to laugh herself as the monster couldn't make a move without laughing. The other senshi's hit made it mark and Rhea stood ready do, what she wasn't sure but she was ready.
She didn't know if she should try to hit it like the other senshi was doing, but it seemed like moments later the monster seemed to get it together and was shooting the ribbons from the pompom at Rhea as well as Hugbell. Rhea gave a yelp and jumped to the side scrambling to keep out of its reach.
It missed her, but her poor little heart was hammering in her chest. She picked up was looked to be some piece of gym equipment that most of been forgotten and threw it as hard as she could at the monster.
"Leave us alone," she shouted.

Hugbell had tried to dodge but the pompom ribbons had caught one of her arms. She tried to tug away as the monster was fixing to drain her energy. "Ugh. Stupid monsters, every time!"
She cheered as Rhea threw a piece of Gym equipment and hit the monster, though the ribbons didn't let go. Hugbell's nose wrinkled so she ran forward to give the monster another swift kick. IF it was going to hold her hostage she might as well punch it.
"Come on you can do it!" She said, "Help me dust this monster!"

Rhea grinned at Hugbell even though the piece of equipment hadn't really helped that much. The eternal senshi made her feel like she could certainly dust the monster, but like Hugbell said.
She gave a firm nod even if she felt bad about having to end anything, but these things had been a nightmare for her for a long time, from the carnival to the convention. No more.
She grabbed a rock next and shuffled closer before tossing it hard, closer now so she wouldnt miss and accidentally hit Hugbell.
"Letgo! Leaveheralone!"

When the rock hit, Hugbell noticed the youma seemed to be getting weaker. "Good!" She shouted as she aimed a power ranger styled kick at the monster's waste. Yes she'd learned from watching the power rangers.
When she did she finally managed to break away from the ribbons and move back to Rhea. "I think one last hit might work? Should we do it together for good measure?" The yellow clad senshi asked as she stood ready, and in front of Rhea in case the monster managed a last Hurrah!Kaori_luv I'll let you do the honors of saying it's dusted?

Rhea jumped excited fist pumping the air and grinning when Hugbell said she had done good. The youma wasn't done yet, but Hugbell got away from it and Rhea felt very very proud.
"Okay," she said with a firm nod, when Hugbell said to finish the monster together. Was it that easy?
"Let's do this," she said and rushed forward to try to give the kick, nothing fancy, basic child's karate kick, but with all the strenght her little body had to offer. She wanted to make the monster go away and thank Hugbell for helping her.
She didn't see what Hugbell did, but she jumped is surprise back and over to Hugbell when the youma turned into a shower of dust. Her eyes when wide.
"It's a dust bunny ... so cleaning my room everyday from now on."
She looked at Hugbell and gave the other girl a big hug, "thank you so much for helping me!"

Hugbell actually threw a punch at the youma, to aim higher than the Kick that Rhea was able to throw. She laughed when the monster turned into dust and Rhea said she was soo cleaning her room from now on.
"Well.... I don't think it's quiite the same dust but yes, cleaning your room maybe a good idea."
She returned the hug with a nod and smile, "Of course, do you feel better about fighting Youma now?" She re summoned Barnaby and he was now sitting on her shoulder, "They're like the monsters from the power rangers, only they don't grow huge. There are some that are that big though, it takes a lot more of us to dust those."
