Hey! So it's been a Dark Void, and I thought I'd experiment here with an actual post. Five years later, Pokemon still swinging--there are 3D models now, and there are PSS features, and it's all so new and improved, fancy, shiny, and sparkly-new...
I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, if anyone even still looks here, but is anyone out there with the recent games? X, or Y, or ORAS?

I played and beat Y. Not my favorite story arc/pacing, but the improvements are nice and I do like a good portion of the new mons. I haven't gotten ORAS yet, so I couldn't tell you how it holds up to gen 3

Melody Hikari-Shinu Anson I played and beat Y. Not my favorite story arc/pacing, but the improvements are nice and I do like a good portion of the new mons. I haven't gotten ORAS yet, so I couldn't tell you how it holds up to gen 3 Holy Karp, a reply! Yeah, the pacing for X was kind of off-kilter to me. Even until the reveal of their grand plan, Team Flare kind of rubbed me the wrong way--it was very hard to take them seriously. Not least of which was because of the ludicrous membership fees, and everything... Do you have any favorites among the new ones?

Whoa. Spritzee, huh? I had the other version... Slurpuff is cute, and all, but I've always had a hard time connecting to that sort of gruffish exterior poofpuff look--it's hard to describe, since I think of, say, Granbull in the same terms.
