[PRP] You...What? (Kali x Remti)

On this sunny day, Kali was doing her usual - gliding just above normal tree height, feeling the soft warm wind blow through her fur. Her eyes were generally closed, and she swayed from side to side in the air, beating her wings only every so often. When she did open her eyes, it was to quickly scan the ground for anyone that might peak her interest. Lately she'd only been able to muster up an interest in the smaller mortals - hares, meerkats, and unfortunate snake or two - it was fun, but she always preferred bigger prey. Not bigger than her, as she was on the smaller side, but someone comparable would be nice.

She took in a deep breath of air, closing her eyes once more. Her boned contraption was loosely attached to the metal around her neck, and she didn't notice it slipping until it slid right past her front paws, falling to the earth. Great. Her eyes rolled as she opened them, adjusting her wings to circle back around to where she had dropped it.

Remti had been minding their own business all morning. They were grown now - not needing constant minding from their older sisters. Not that their sisters were particularly good at it. Remti had taken the day for themselves. Usually they were with their twin brother, but as it was, the pair had split.

It hadn't been long into their walk before Remti had spotted something falling to the earth quite quickly. Curious, they made their way towards the falling object. They were quite worried that it was a bird or something injured. With their Sight, they could sometimes see things like this occurring, but Remti never had strong visions anyhow.

So they had to find the source, of course. They nosed around the area, trying to find the point of impact for the object.
