Word spread fast in a place like Tendaji. Surprising when the people were so spread out, but now that there was more traveling it was a growing rumor mill spreading word as fast as earthlings could move. It was little secret that a group of Alkidike were starting to cause problems in Tendaji. The extremist Alkidike felt that it was high time that Jauhar was taken back from the shifters and the alarming growth of others that were settling into their land.

There were growing accounts of ambushing in the jungles of Jauhar, where shifters and other earthlings were being beaten and sacked for their things before being threatened to leave Jauhar… and there was only so much these poor people could take before they fled the scene and packed their bags. What would happen if the Alkidike decided to spread out further than Jauhar and became a threat to all earthlings?

They were still rumors, and nothing could be proved, but many were beginning to cast a disapproving gaze toward the Alkidike and a weary eye to Jauhar’s borders.

Bisera wasn't really one that was interested in travel, at least not long distance travel since he felt that it would do nothing but get in the way of his work. He wanted to become someone like his father after all, his father who could create the most beautiful things, seemingly with ease. That was something that he wanted to do more then anything else. Currently the blond boy was sitting on the floor, intent upon the beads that he was carefully carving by hand, listening to his mother as she read a letter from his older sister. It started off normal enough, her talking about her Leaf Tribe husband, about their want to have kids soon, stuff like that. From there the letter seemed to go somewhere that he hadn't been expecting, something that caused him to lift his head looking away from his work and toward his mother as she read on.

It would appear as though there were more dangers out there then he knew of, one of them being 'Alkdike Extremists' which were two words that he didn't like the sound of. They were trying to take back Jauhar from the Shifters, as well as others settling in what they called 'their land' which had Bisera a little uncomfortable, "Surely they won't end up like the Obans and think about expanding further then Jauhar, right?" He asked, not liking the idea that his sister might be living in an area that the Alkidike might think to invade. What if they did decide to do that? Surely his sister didn't want to have a child in a land that might be ravaged by war. Again.

His mother paused in her reading, lifting her head to look his way with her one good eye, then looked back down again, "I don't much care for the boy that your sister decided to marry, I feel that he isn't good enough for her, though that would apply to anyone courting any of my children." The warrior woman said, "That said, I feel that he will protect Alanor and any children they have. At least he'd better if he doesn't then I will merely her home."

It was one of those statements that reassured Bisera, allowing him to look back down at his work once more. Continuing on with the carving of his beads for a moment. He paused again, looked up, and asked, "What about the twins? Do you think they are going to tussle with them? Surely not... I mean if it's just a Jauhar problem they won't get involved, right?" It's not as though the extremists had announced plans to go to war against Sauti or to try to invade as far as that. That being said Roshan and Liorin were determined, they might very well see the Alkidike as a threat akin to the Obans, one that should be nipped in the bud sooner then later, before the women got it in their heads to expand. He might not get along with his brothers or see eye to eye with them about... well, anything, but that didn't mean that he wanted them to get hurt.

Alvida glanced at Bisera, starring at him for a long moment, before shaking her head, "I know that they can be foolhardy and I want to say that they wouldn't do such a thing, though it is hard to say. They have plans to return soon for a visit but who knows if they mean to stay or if it's just to let us know that they want to do something so stupid as what you suggested." She thought on it for a moment, then shook her head, "We won't know until they get home I suppose. I don't care how old they are, they aren't going to wander off to throw themselves into another war if I can stop them. The one against the Obans was necessary, the one against the Alkidike is not. Let them have Jauhar, it is not of our concern."

"And if they actually thought to try to expand further then the lands that they believe to be theirs?" Bisera asked of his mother in a curious manner.

The woman gave a bit of a harsh laugh, "Well, if that comes to pass, then I will deal with them myself. As though I would let them bother my babies." She said, very much like a wild beast when it came to protecting her children and her sometimes oblivious mate.

Bisera gave a nod of his head, "We should send a letter to Alanor, to invite her and her husband to stay here. I know you don't care for him but better that they aren't in Tale where there might be fall out, right?" He didn't want his sister to be at risk, or even one country away from risk.

Alvida nodded, "You may be right. I might not care for him but I would much prefer her here. Keeping her husband with her might be a necessary evil but better that then her getting hurt." She said, her tone making it sound as though the idea of inviting the Leaf Tribesman as well was a bit painful but better to invite them both then just inviting Alanor home. If they did that she was certain not to come, "Go fetch paper and a quill Bisera, we will set to work on the letter so it gets their sooner then later."

Giving a nod Bisera pushed to his feet, hurrying off to do just that. The sooner that they got the letter sent the sooner that Alanor might be coming home, something he was rather looking forward to since it had been some time since he'd seen her. Not the circumstances that he wanted to bring about her visit but at least there was something good to come from the danger the giant women presented.
